AHH Grace still an awesome WOD.i don't know if it's only kettle bell long cycle competition where you might find that a double grace takes half the time to do sixty 24 kg kettlebell clean and jerks for top athletes but I am trying to find out what cross fit say about it. I don't regularly do barbell I use kettle bells which with lighter weight seems to take twice as long.
That's not a clean and jerk. It's a clean and a push press. And the push press is automatically a pressout and hence a failed lift. Why does CrossFit have to do so much so weirdly? You're not helping yourselves.
A push press would be more difficult and therefore it actually counts as a SAT jerk rep... but not vice versa... fact.. heck, he could shoulder less press it (most difficult) and it would count. But he does do a second dip under the bar so your claim is invalid anyways... but keep hating... lol
Those are all push jerks that he did. Don't you see the re-dip and the knees bending before the catch? If you're gonna be a hater, at least know your stuff.

Yeah, you got a point here. Grace should be written as "Clean and Shoulder to Overhead". It would be more precise.
