They included this rehasal take on the DVD because it sounds better than the concert version... Or that's what I think. This version sounds more intimate. period.
The live version had the energy of the audience and live performance,. I love both, but the live performance was slightly better. Nothing is like performing in front of a live audience. A musician's perspective.
Didn't mean to upset anyone. It's just my opinion that the synthesizer sounds to me cheezy.I prefer piano and it's just my opinion.I have listened again & I feel the same way.I think the piano offers greater expressive qualities.I don't mind you not agreeing with me!
The soloing of both Santana & Shorter are great but in my opinion spoilt by the cheesy (very 80s) string synthesizer background. I think Carlos needs to move on in that area. Just my opinion.
REST IN PEACE AND LOVE, WAYNE SHORTER!

i agree with @Geoffreybubbles, but even if i didn't i would still respect his opinion and not tell him to "shut up and listen."
This was no misunderstanding.really not
a cult site should be initiated after this event at least a menhir or so. carloswaynaraserai.

Grand Piano would have been the best choice to support the sax solo.
