- Motorola's Moto Mods are one of the Moto Z's best attributes, and Motorola committed to them in a major way at Mobile World Congress.
One of the most unique - and arguably best - features of Lenovo’s Moto Z series is Moto Mods, which include accessories like cameras, speakers, batteries, and more. Earlier this year at Mobile World Congress (MWC), Lenovo announced a slew of new Mods headed to market. And on June 1, it announced when they’d be available - and how much they’d cost.
The TurboPower Pack, GamePad, and SoundBoost 2 will retail for $80 later this year, and the Wireless Charging Shells are $40 apiece.

Shevon...why are there no cool protective cases for this phone? Not the thing that the phone gets completely covered in. Ones that protect the edges mostly, and face. You know, something extra, for people who drop their phone once or twice a day? Something, you know...mom-ish... or girly looking? I know this one has gorilla glass, and that wood-ish... lol...thing on the back, but OCDer's want more! What if it gets... scratched? There are very few I see that are for the MOTO Z PLAY, specifically. What's up with that?

Nice Video, regarding the Moto mod,
I really want the Z4 with projector.
Here in the UK we didn't get Z2, Z3 or Z4 and alas no Mods.
I'm searching ebay and other places to buy the Z4, JBL speaker and the projector. I might buy the Hasselblad camera mod, if it's at a decent price. I think this phone & mods, would have flown off the shelves if Motorola had released it here.
The numpties didn't though. In your informative video, you weighed up having all those mods against having a flagship phone?
For me. I'll take the Z4 with a projector over a flagship. I'm still using an Iphone 6s plus, also 4G is plenty fast for streaming films.
As others have said, you're a charming young man. Please don't change, it was very relaxing and enjoyable to hear what you had to say about this interesting bit of kit. Fingers crossed I can find all the pieces I want.

Nice video, nice cuts in the video, i recommend one thing tho, write a Script for what your want to say and read from it, so you have a base for what you want to say, and not forget anything

Nice vid! Im getting the Moto z2 play and the projector mod, your video was super informative. The price for some of these mods have gone down, for example i got the projector for $140, but there have also been a lot more mods released from moto and from other companies like the moto 360 cam mod, so you could do a update vid with all of the new ones and show those off.

FYI you see that projector screen leveling and balancing out flat is called keystoning. When it does it on it's own is called digital auto keystone. Thanks for the vid

The jbl speaker isn't meant to be held while it's playing it sounds way better with it propped on the kickstand

The camera is awesome. I purchased earlier this year. Zoomed in on a concert and could see what was going on on stage compared to my sister using her Samsung phone. Now I'm gonna get the projector since Verizon is running a special to buy one mod get one free. $250 projector free

It's a great idea but I would only consider it if it had flagship specs (especially the main camera). And that hasselblad thing should have just been an optical addon - not a separate camera.

Sachidananda Sahoo The phone makes noise when it snaps a picture but you can disable it. However the camera mod had a moving lens which will make noise when it's opening and closing and adjusting sooooo sorta

garcia bruhh the projector and the moto battery pack are must-haves. The JBL speaker is awesome as well. The gaming mod is pretty good, it's full potential comes from using emulators on your phone. I got the projector for free with my plan, a lot of carriers can do that so you don't have to pay the 300 bucks. I watch movies on my ceiling in bed every night with it.
