Thanks a lot as I am badly in need for some words like this to boost up my confidence levels and it really is happening that not only my confidence levels but also the confusion after so many second thoughts which I gave for my preparations are on high peaks as you managed to boost it up.

Obviously ACCA exam has been a pain in my ass, but that won't bother me anylonger i have gotten my license already thanks to you Mr James God bless you more cuz you made it possible for me.
ACCA exam is really difficult and frustrating, i can't believe i failed again after studying so hard
You will pass everyone has their own season, just keep going pray and believe you will receive yours Mr James like everyone has been saying he can be off help
Am sorry for that some people also passed through the difficulties just be patient and keep studying
I'm really sorry about that but i got used to it until i succeeded, i failed 6 times before i finally passed, it would have been 6 but Mr James saved me from failing again
i saw someone say he is not trustworthy i couldn't stop laughing, really people say a lot of shit these days

This is very inspirational....I conquer with your point on the BPP and Kaplan as I started using Kaplan for this exam that I'm to do recently and honestly it is very straight to the point and it's much easier studying with Kaplan.😊

@@afrogirldiaries One of the trouble i face as a self study acca student is time management. I think a video on time management and setting study goals will go a long way to help me and many others. You know wrong time management will easily lead to gross procrastination.Thank you.
Hi Innocent. Yes you're perfectly right. When it's down to you to study, revise with no set schedule, procrastination can be a really big issue. I will definitely cover this in my series. Thanks for the suggestion

Just a disclaimer to those considering that only once you have signed off 14 to 36 month experience in a finance environment are eligible to become a member. Ideally you want your supervisor to be a qualified accountant. You get to decide on as many supervisors you want. It’s called PER. You need to get signed off on 9 objectives. 5 are essential and 4 are technical electives objectives. (Similar to SAICA trainee programme) However the purpose of the PER programme are key I think because they teach you certain professional skills. Which I think sets you a part as world class professional. Great video and all of the best 👍🏻
Hi Abigail, thank you. You are right, one needs 36 months experience with demonstration of 9 PER as you've explained. If you work for an approved employer you can get exemption but they would still need to sign off that you have experience. I'm in the second category, hoping to become fully qualified next year 😊

Very inspirational! Love your insight as to how this was all theoretical for you and you needed to master it all on your own. I'm gonna do a Physics degree later this Autumn but I'm thinking of doing a career in accounting (could change my mind😅), so I'm probably going to be self teaching as well haha.
But why did you choose ACCA over the ACA?
Hi Siam glad you enjoyed the video. I chose ACCA cause its more internationally focused and for most papers there are different versions available. I tend to take the international version.

I am attempting acca for the first time i like your advice and have learned allot . i will still need your advice now. it is just yesterday when someone told me that if you are self studying f9 just know that you are preparing for a fail but by getting this advice you have blessed me. what approach i may take to pass Financial Management.

Very informative and helpful, Kudos to you for attempting the exams while working full time. With regards to the strategic papers, would you still suggest that one attempts two papers at one seating, or would one be more prudent?

I always keep coming back to your video. Passing PM has being a struggle for me. I noticed majority of your videos you used study text. Currently the way PM is treating me, I will like to go that route to see if I will have any luck. What advise will you give me going the route of self study with text?

Regarding your query - syllabus-wise as long as you're using an ACCA approved provider, you can choose any of them. It depends on your preferred way of learning. Hi Racem, thanks for watching. Well done on persevering through the ACCA journey especially being self taught. I tend to go for international version where possible. Where this isn't available like for tax, I have taken the UK version. My perspective is biased as I am based in the UK so would suggest you go for the system closest to your system as possible. Where this doesn't apply select the most global version available (a country whose system is more internationally accepted). Hope that helped

I have a question, after writing the 9 papers do you directly go into the professional part or do you need to get a job for 3 years first?
Hi there. You can go directly into the professional level papers. I would recommend not waiting until you are done with all the papers to find a suitable job. But there is nobody stopping you from completing all papers theoretically before getting work experience.
