Well a bit after this album aphex twin had been making a lot of songs for advertisements so a lot of the stuff you’ve heard in ads could potentially be his
Such an underrated track. It truly doesn't get a lot of love. I've even seen quite alot of people say they don't like the song, which is ridiculous.. It's such a banger
imo pulsewidth sounds like taking a hot shower during a cold -ber month night with a yellow fluorescent light in the year 2019 while the dark night is outside the window and the room is steamy
Aphex twin is basically the most 90s person to ever exist. You can pull up any and I mean any product or thing from the 90s and hear aphex twin in your head and it would fit
@@khoroshiypelemen102 I'm talking about the whole meme of repeating the noun and then showing a picture of it. That shit is not human nor is it funny. It's like an AI chatbot saw the definition of anti-humor and then did a half ass job making a meme.
When I heard Flim for the first time at age 18, I immediately thought about clouds. My boyfriend and our friend at that moment were on acid while I tripsitted them. It was July, 2019 and I had this funny a chandelier that I got from a friend when she moved that changed colour from blue to purple and red. The whole room at night was like a gentle disco scene. We were lying on a bed and just listened to the music. I really liked it but didn't ask who was it for some reason. So the trip continued, but the melody stuck for some time after. I thought about, when, you know, its partly cloudy and the only thing you can see is the sky. Nothing obstructs your view: neither the city, nor the forest, nor the water - sky was only thing that you could see. It's not hot outside, just right and a little cold wind in the summer and the freshness of the air that you could feel while listening to it - it's incredible how perfectly it was made. You can feel the mood and I never experienced nothing like that ever again (yet, but can't tell). After some time I described this friend my feelings about this melody and lol he understood this well - he sent me a link with Aphex Twin and gosh this is the whole new world. We don't talk with this guy anymore (actually life has changed since 2019 so much), but I still remember this precious feeling it delivered. UPD: when he sent me a link to the audio version with original album cover I almost shat myself. Like wtf such a beautiful music and these kids with his face lololol
As someone who haven't listened to this album yet, the best way to experience this video is by closing my eyes and guessing the vibe, play the video again, and see if it would match the video
Richard was far ahead of his time making this masterpiece of an album. Crazy that he was supposedly 14 when he first started recording this… Gives me goosebumps.
I was in my car one day it was raining, waiting for my Brother and i decided to play this album. By the time the beat in the middle of Xtal dropped, the sun literally came out before my eyes, so i asociate this Song to that moment from now on lol
xtal feels like when you wake up at midnight and drink a glass of water
A cold glass
Personally I turn this song on whenever its snowing
The hi hats are so crispy
In my opinion, it feels like: it's a winter night and you're riding in a carriage past the lanterns burning with cold white light.

Xtal + cold shower = the best combo ever
Xtal + hot shower + really cold rainy day

Xtal is my alarm clock. The treble makes that song so loud, plus I synced on the vibration to be the bass drum on it
1:05 Ptolemy goes so hard. That one song is actually the reason I got into Aphex Twin.
best track on saw85-92 tbh
Such an underrated track. It truly doesn't get a lot of love. I've even seen quite alot of people say they don't like the song, which is ridiculous.. It's such a banger

the album sounding like frutiger aero is so real and i have been beting on this idea for nearly an year already
