Funny enough I watched this video before I became an Sgrho and got me even more excited lol and now I’m a Sgrho and wouldn’t have had it any other way in the end 💛💙, heyyy Soror 😘
I agree. I'm in grad chapter. I thought I would be a AKA. But my experiences with other sororities did not compare to my experiences with a SIGMA woman.
Joyce Smith That’s what I’m struggling with now and I’m scared that I might make the wrong choice. I thought about one sorority for a long time but my experience doesn’t match my sgrho experience. After spending time with SGRho’s, I love my experience with them. They make me feel at home without letters. Idk what to do 🤦🏾♀️
My Entire Family is GREEK. We make up 8 of the Divine 9. I was thought to be a legacy for AKA because of my Grandmother but then one of my sisters became a Delta. so i thought about joining that Org. but when i got to college i joined a Auxillary Org. and of all the Sororities on Campus the ladies of SGRHO were the most welcoming, laid back, SMART, Well rounded ,DOPE and Best steppers. The other sororities just wasnt for me. Over the years i was too active in my other Org. to join in Undergrad. LAst year i decided to become a SoRhor to the best Sorority created. SIGMA GAMMA RHO SORORITY INC. The BEST decision i could have made.
Great Sigma story soror! The chapter members being so down to earth and cool with everyone is what drew me to Sigma as well. I never even thought Greek life was for me until I became friends with some of the chapter members.
I love being a Sigma Gamma Rho this month This month I celebrate 50 years. For me it all started at MSU Gamma Omega Chapter. From the beginning there was true spirit of sisterhood demonstrated. But, most importantly the outreach to helping others was like no other. .💙💛
I listened to your video and immediately sent it to my daughter she will be pledging spring of 23 it’s so amazing to hear everything you said about Sigma this was her first impression you ladies are so kind and personable it really stood out..I feel real comfortable saying she will be in good hands as a Sigma thank you for this video
I know this vid is OLD! Nonetheless, I’m pursuing going “back” to college and possibly joining a Black Greek Org. I haven’t done thorough research yet; though I will! Im a new SUBBIE and want to applaud you for being extremely professional, informative, personable, and honest! You are so inspiring thanks for your videos!
You have a new subscriber , I will look more into this chapter the only concern I have is I’m finishing graduate school and hope to be accepted in a north eastern local chapter I don’t know if that is applicable but I hope I’m the only child and I would love a sisterhood . I cultivate in different diverse settings and I’m very humble
Hello Kels ! I have a question, I have a hard time looking for a sorority, since in my university I cannot go to formal recruitment since I a master student, and many places I am trying to contacting (alumnae) have never replied, so, i would like to ask you if a person can join to a sorority from a different university? since I know that new universities accept graduate students. Thanks !
Hi! If you’re pursuing grad membership then you can express interest to any chapter in your area. Now, I say “any chapter” lightly as it depends on the organization you’re joining. I know for some chapters, you can only express interest in your area (i.e. within a 50 mile radius). Also take advantage of the organization’s website, they have a list of chapters in specific regions and cities with contact information
