Just a tip, some organizations may require that you do your community service with the same organization. You should speak with a member of that organization for clarification.
Great advice Sista Greek!!! I agree with using Intake Process. We really need to get that out there so people do not use that other P word. Keep up the great work.
Im older. Ive been reading the book the divine nine and im reallly interested in pledging. Im enrolled at a school with different sororities but for fall all of my classes will be online. How can i find out when rush is or any informational events? I dont know any members of the sororities being that itll be my first full semester.. im starting for summer session 2. Any suggestions for me? Do u think its possible for me being that my classes are all online and i won't be on campus
If you know the organization that you’re interested in joining, then you should pursue it. Try to follow them on their social media accounts and attend as many of their events as you can. I also recommend attend as many D9 events as you can even as an online student because you gain a better understanding of Greek Life at your campus. If you attend a D9 event like Intake Orientation, I think that’ll be a good opportunity for you to ask about their process as it relates to online students. I’m not sure what it’ll be like at your campus.
Heyyy Kels….im back again and i have your course too….out of curiosity, any advice for someone who doesn’t live on campus but does follow said organization as well as attend all events and know a few members….how do you find out about informational/formal? Org does not post on social media, only in dormitory for 1 day…. Is it okay to ask or is that something to ask the nphc council?
D9 organizations do not discriminate. Check out my video on doing research to find the organization that fits you ruclips.net/video/9w5uRdOWbTw/видео.html
@@KelsTells thank you I will check it out now. I guess because I notice the women wear uniform hairstyles and Muslims women are required to wear hijab so I was thinking it would interfere with the uniform code depending on which campus chapter
I have a video on this topic. As a member, the service that you provide your organization after you join is more important that how you joined. ruclips.net/video/wNoNAVs86ss/видео.html
Take the time to get to know the chapter that you want to join. Attend events. Most organizations take sophomores; some will take second-semester freshmen. Do your research and when you're ready, let your interest be known to at least the VP.
Do you think having a speech impediment/stutter will hinder my performance throughout the intake process? It’s something I can’t help but I’m insecure about.
I cannot speak for other individuals because you never know with people, but it should not. Members should be willing to work with you and help you through your process
Life Of Gabbyyy it depends on the organization's membership requirements. Some orgs will accept members called second-semester freshmen which are freshmen who have at least 12 semester hours at the host campus

I have a video on this topic ruclips.net/video/tHRxoSg5jXM/видео.html
Do you think as a Black Muslim woman who wears hijab it would be hard for me to join one, if one of the D9 organizations that I may see a fit for me.

I do the military and is very interested in joining a sorority when I go to college next year any advice you can give me for joining freshman year

How is the Ace and Tail determined
It’s determined by the DP
height is the main factor for most but if you cant handle the responsibility you'll be moved
KelsTells DP means a pledge line! There is only the intake chairman.
I’ve explained the difference before in other videos. Some still use the terms interchangeably.
Do you think having a speech impediment/stutter will hinder my performance throughout the intake process? It’s something I can’t help but I’m insecure about.

so can u be a freshman and still be a member of the sorority
