Caitlin, have you considered doing a hard copy cookbook? I think it could help you translate well into moving into a show (Food Network style or even Buzzfeed, FB production) etc. Your recipes are so top notch and you put so much work into making them both healthy and delicious. I know doing both the recipe testing and video production, editing, distribution, etc. is a lot. I know doing it all yourself gives you creative freedom but I think it's something you should really consider because I think you'd be really good at it!

mmmmm carrot cake is almost as good as chocolate cake. i was going to make ginger muffins 2 weeks ago but i couldn't find the ginger so i used mixed spice instead, and that's how i realised that they use that in carrot cake haha. tasted just like carrot cake but without the carrot
Yesterday I made the modified pumpkin pie bar, topped it with the vegan coconut whipped cream (i just used the solid part from a can of full fat coconut milk with two tablespoons of maple syrup) and it came out so good! I used tapioca flour instead of arrowroot and it worked fine. The great thing was that I already had all the ingredients at home. Thanks Caitlin!

They look for thankgiving!! One year my aunt made sweet potatoe pie and pumpkin pie and she forgot to tag them so you knew what pie was what and everyone ate the sweet potato pie even though they thought it was the pumpkin but it wasn't!!
Love the recipes...Tip for the Sweet Potato Bars: roast the sweet potatoes instead of chopping & steaming; it's less fussy, saves time & the flavour is more concentrated. :-)

Have you had any luck making a sponge cake? I want to veganize a German Black Forest Cake and the chocolate sponge cake is comprised mostly of beaten eggs. I don't know if a egg replacer would behave the same way, but I'm willing to try as it is my favorite dessert and I can replace everything else.
I've seen a lot of vegan sponge cake recipes, and they seem to use self-rising flour and an extra dose of baking powder. It's actually very easy! If you want to get fancy, you could experiment with aquafaba (chickpea water --> it puffs up like egg whites when whipped), but the basic ingredients mentioned above seem to do the trick. Search up "vegan sponge cake" or even "vegan black forest cake" and I'm sure you'll get plenty of recipe ideas.
I bake sponge cakes eggless and vegan for 2 decades or more now. I use vegetable oil and they came out light. I am a life long vegetarian and so always made only egg less cakes. I prefer Carob to chocolate and they come out so light. Chocolate is too dense for my taste, so make it for friends and family. Only use cream for topping sometimes if its a birthday party, otherwise just some icing sugar does the trick mostly.
You should do a vegan dessert that is peanut butter and chocolate flavored. Also I LOVE sweet potatoes so I really want to try out those bars for thanksgiving!

I am looking into vegan cooking and baking, but it is so hard to find substitutes for some of the things I can not digest anymore. (Like eggs, cream-cheese... cheese of any kind to be honest.) Or the things like the yeast, flaxseed-egg or stuff like that make my head spin. If you have done videos like this, what you concider essentials or basics of vegan cooking and baking, then I am just to dumb to find it. Or blind. But since I'm allergic to almonds, what could I use for the pie crust instead of the almond flour and still keep it gluten free? probably coconut flour wouldn't work.. do you have a tip on how to make a pie crust without the almond flour? Look up a depression era cake recipe. I’ve always had good luck with their texture, plus they are super simple to make.
