I love the family photo from the wedding. You always see where the children are calmly standing or sitting, looking somewhat serious, or maybe smiling, and everything looks staged perfectly. That's not the way it really is. Yours is a real family photo. It's adorable and makes me laugh.

Thanks Emma! I was on the fence about the Mabel when it was first released, it was after seeing others make it on instagram when I got drawn to it. I’m pleased with the coat too 😊. I’m going to set up a fundraiser for the bear, so will come back on another video about that xx

I love that the front stripes on the bear do not line up! It gives a charming, playful character on her. A bit of whimsy is perfect on a stuffed animal.

The length of your jacket is absolutely fine. Love the matching tie idea and I find it really sweet that your son wore it. You have great boys. I find your talent for working out how to make the memory bear unbelievable
Thank you! Yeah I’m probably just being a bit picky and nobody else would probably notice as much as I do. I was so happy he wore the tie 😊. Thank you, they are lots of fun. I’ve made more progress with my memory bear, and I’m pleased with how it’s coming along so far xx

You are inspiring to get started with some practice ones before doing my grown up kids baby clothes.🧸🧸I''m sure your parents will love them! I'm so jealous of all the fun sewing shows you guys have over there, I think we have Quilt shows and that's it. You crack me up when you talk about the buttons, I totally get it, we all have some type of phobias, don't we? I feel that way about cotton balls, I hate touching them, and I'm petrified of heights. Hi Mary, thank you!! I was so pleased with how my dress and coat combo turned out and I’m looking forward to wearing them separately now too. I’m really enjoying making the bears, they’re a lovely keepsake for your children’s baby clothes. We are lucky to have such amazing shows to go to.

The social aspect was the best part. We missed so many stalls so we are definitely going to try to stay up and do 2 days next time.

Great vlog as always you look stunning in your Mabel and Jacket and yet again you have inspired me and I will definitely make the Mabel. Thank you for sharing your phobia most of us have them mine is wearing socks on a carpet I can’t stand it, I wear slippers in the house all the time unless I am in the shower or asleep ! Your bear is beautiful too well done ❤❤

Hi Karen, This has been a lovely video-such a joy to watch. Your wedding outfit was stunning, and the accessories were coordinated well. The bear is so cute. I have attended the Knitting and Stitching show in Harrowgate once, but I think I may try to visit the ones in Birmingham and London someday. I prefer to see fabrics in person rather than purchase them online, and it is nice to have a variety of vendors all in one place. Fabric shops in my area are limited, so it would be good to have more choices. Have you considered a Teaching Assistant post in a local school (if there are any vacancies)? It may be an idea to volunteer for a few hours (hearing the children read, etc.) to demonstrate your skills, and then if a post does become available, you may stand a better chance of securing the job.
Hi Linda, so glad you enjoyed watching this video. It was nice to share what I’ve been getting up to. I’ve not been able to attend the knitting and stitching show before, it’s one I’d like to try but not sure I’ll make it this year unfortunately. I agree, shopping for fabric in person is so much better.
I’m registered on the eteach website, so I’m notified when positions become available. I’ve only applied for one so far, but I’m doubtful I’ll hear back. Another was posted today which I’m going to try for. But there’s not many where the hours suit me right now, it’s so difficult to find something that will still enable me to be around for the boys before and after school. I will keep a look out for the teaching assistant roles too. I’m hoping my experience working with cubs will also help xx
