Unboxing and Trying Out My New Hats! - Meinl 14" Classics Custom Dark Hihat

In this video, I unbox and try out a new cymbal - a set of Meinl 14" Classics Custom Dark Hihats. I've been fascinated by Meinl for years and, now that I have two drum sets, figured this was the ideal time to finally grab one of their cymbals. I'm incredibly picky when it comes to hihats - I've only heard four or five where I thought "I love these" right off the bat. Now, I own two of them. These are killer hats, especially at their price range.

Sound clean and trashy at the same time...love this natural recording...a comparison with Classic dual 14" hi hat would be great...

I just bought a pair of Zildjian 13 inch Custom Special Dry Hats but they haven't arrived yet and was searching for some videos of other Hi Hats. Those sound pretty good. A seller on Ebay had the Special Dry ones for $219.00. The Zildjian web site has them for $465.00 or so. I nabbed them :)
