Excellent real life comparison as these are two bikes people will be considering, at least people who don’t chose bikes solely on brand loyalty. I haven’t ridden the Sinnis but I test rode the Moto Morini (possibly your bike?) at the ABR Festival and when I got home ordered one and have been enjoying it since July, including a four day trip from home in Northern Ireland to southern Scotland, the Lake District, and Northumberland. I love the bike.

Both bikes look excellent I think I would go for the sinnis crash bar's luggage plenty quick enough for an adventure bike plus at that price can't go wrong.

A fix for a side stand is a hockey puck off eBay , used on a few of my bikes over the years ( on and off road )
Great review, I think the sinnis is in the same bracket as the meteor 350 in regards there great bikes for the money but they leave you wanting that little more!
Maybe sinnis will do what royal enfield have done and bring out a 650 version?
I much prefer the MM to look at. That counts for something. I'm not an adventure bike fan, though. I used to be: XRV750; R1100GS; 950 Aventure; XB12X, but now I like scramblers/flat trackers.

They didn't sell enough to justify a big financial commitment the next year!

I think the Moto Morini will be available in Canada at $11,180 CAD which is more than the Honda CB 500X $9,279 all-in price according to the website. It would be hard to convince someone to buy a Chinese/Italian bike over the cheaper Honda with their reliability record.
People need to be more open to a changing world I feel.
The Chinese know how to build engines.
I'd be a fair bit tempted about the Terrain if I wasn't at the opposite end of the country.
