“Seiemmezzo” means “six and a half” in Italian - that’s why it’s spelt that way. So when you say “Seiemmezzo 650” you’re doubling up on the description. Very good video and well presented in a non biased way. I might just think about one of these based on your review. Keep up the good work.

Not to mention it is a play on the old Morini 3 1/2. Also a fairly slow and low tech model in its time.

You fitted the bike and looked comfortable, to me this bike has elements of other machines but in layman's speak it is the love child of a CF Moto and Ducati.

I was tossed between this bike and the Moto Guzzi Stone 7 Ten. Your review is so good and non-biased I have made up my mind, I'm buying the Seiemmezzo. While I ride with my wife, the accessories you can get allow for light touring with bags AND trunk that keanly match the style. I am so impressed and knowing the engine is a Kawasaki motor just make it that much better. Thanks for the great review.

hello sir, another great video. I have a question for you. For daily street riding which would be your first, second and third choice to buy Moto Morini Seiemmezzo scr 650, cfmoto clx-700, royal enfield interceptor, moto guzzi v7 stone or triumph 400x? I am looking for a bike that will not give me any trouble for a long time. That's why the engine and the other key parts important to me?

Hi, unfortunately all bikes are subject to issues at any time. All those are great bikes but are also quite different. Guzzi is great and looks fantastic but Guzzi going wrong can be expensive. The Moto Morini and CF Moto are also great, the CF is slightly better built and has the stainless exhaust where the MM doesn't. The Triumph is also a great bike, lighter, not as quick but I hear has had a few issues. RE Interceptor is nice, classic looking, not as sporty though. I like the CF most myself; but try and get a ride on them or at least sit on them, get a feel for them.

Gidday mate. Started my Moto Morini ownership with the X-cape, now running the SCR. Smile a minute machine and if you keep the motor in the upper revs it’ll reward. Good video, cheers.

Fantic announced yesterday a 700cc twin version of its Caballero, 75BHP, 185KG, and €10k. April launch. I've got my eye on that as my 500 Flat Track is sensational. Morini looks class though...Great review, thanks P.S. I like a snatchy throttle low down, it means the bike is ready to PLAY.

Very smart looking bike, not dissimilar to the Benelli 800 Leoncino. Some nice bikes being made in China these days, I myself have a Leoncino 500 (as a second bike) which has been a really good buy.

  • @matthiashauptmann9423

Seems to be a well composed bike. But one question remains: Do they fill the frame with lead to be 20-35 kg heavier (whichever number of Fantic you tend to believe) than Fantic´s new 700? This thing is 60 kg heavier than my 27 year old DR 650 SE and will be a dog on gravel ...

Not really, it's the colloquial for "sei e mezzo" which is the way we Italians refers to engine sizes and numbers. It becomes "seiemmezzo" the same way you turn "I am going to" to "I am gonna".
