Perfectly understandable that people don't want to buy from China in the current climate. I've now owned 3 bikes with this cfmoto (Kawasaki inspired - cough - copied) architecture and they are good bikes that have been around for a decade now. Parts are available and not expensive. Reliability on the post 2017 models has been great, my 2014 has had issues but fixed now. The only downside I see to all these new bikes with the 650 platform is they're raising prices, but so is every manufacturer. It's funny reading all the comments saying it's crap because it's Chinese - those days of only cheap products from that country are long finished Does anyone else here know that Swiss watches costing thousands of dollars produce the components in china - they just assemble in Switzerland..food for thought
It is I believe from the same stable as my ex Benelli, which whilst most reviewers said it was fantastic, it turned out a right nightmare and is disposed of with relish! Back to Honda with no worries whatsoever!
Loved your review. Have you tried the CFMOTO 700 CL-X, how do you compare both? What about the Macbor Eight Mile 500 scrambler and the Benelli Leoncino 800 Trail? Thank you
So between this brand new, or Indian FTR used.... I see this lining up against things like the Royal Enfield's Scram 411 more than against your other standard brands (Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda...) Though if Honda actually comes over with the SCL500 (IDK if you can buy that in the states yet its not on the website) This is almost exactly the same price point.
A few of us in the Algarve have Fantic Caballero's for the mountain roads and twisties, and we swear by them. Their only real competitor isn't the MT07, which we don't like, but the Ducati scrambler which is on another level. But pricey.
Please review the Benelli Leoncino 800 trail a great bike for a great price a scrambler but benelli calls it trial Great video but i don’t like the looks of the MM Bike’s
@motobob Its a very smart looking modern scrambler. I think it looks outstanding personally...👍 I will say though I would be worried about the manufacturer, I simply don't know enough about them, their reliability / after sale customer service etc. That said they can't be as bad as KTM lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ All in all £7k for that bike, its a great price!
Very interesting, I had an original Triumph scrambler a few years ago...and a Street Twin until the zombie apocalypse happened, looking for just this sort of bike for this spring and summer... HMMMM? I wonder what the dealer network will be like?
Got one for £5k, and it's a lot of bike for my skills 😉 The gearing is a bit short, so feels a bit jerky in low gears, but like any bike you just have to adapt to it.
Quite close to the old Transalp for P:W. None of these new Scramblers have very good headlight protection accessories. These lights must cost a lot To replace.
Scrambler... Basically someone saying "Boy, I sure wish I owned a dirt bike that was heavier, lower, and less off-road capable so that I can go down a gravel road once a year!"
Hi Uncle Rob, this is L and F. We love your videoes. We got Aunt I. to subscribe. L says: I'm watching from my ipad and l like watching the motorcycles going fast. F only have kid youtube, and we're trying to find your channel there.
It’s a great looking bike , a good comparison would have been cf moto cl-x heritage for a Chinese back to back , Japanese wise the new hornet or mt07 , the Chinese are going to take over the small and middle weight class , which will grow as high end bike are probably only selling because of PCP and buyers can have twice the bike they couldn’t afford !! 🏍🏍👍👍
pirelli mt60rs tires and pirelli wire wheels, kayaba brand suspension, bosch 9.1mb abs, brembo brand brakes, bosch injection system, 8 valve dohc fuel delivery system same motor block with kawasaki ern6 italian design and luxury details? and you call this machine "chinese bike"? dude. ahaha no. you must lost your mind. stop that prejudice.
Sorry but when the new Hornet with 30BHP more is the same price this looks poor value to me ! ... Plus Chinese build quality and depreciation levels ? ..No thanks.
It’s assembled in China, but the engines proven the parts that they’re using or premium and if you need parts and you can’t get it off of Chinese vendor then use Kawasaki parts. Everything’s got something that’s manufactured from China in it no matter what the brand so get what you can afford and ride it like you stole it
the only issue i have with this, like always, is that the engine is dull, being theone from the 650 kawasaki, it does not matter how agressive they try to make the tune of the ECU, it only ends beingh harsh and terrible, instead of torquey and enjoiable... POS of an engine design
I do like the look of this bike and it will probably be ok for the price in terms of performance however, I think you should try and get your hands on a Benelli Leoncino Trail 800. Do a review of that and then do a comparison on both the Morini and the Benelli. I thought that would be a great comparison. Good review as always and maybe I'll see my suggestion in the future. All the best fella. 👍🏿👍🏿
It would look better if it had a proper rear mudguard ,& proper right way up forks ,it looks like it’s been kicked up the arse . The top Chinese factories can turn out stuff to any quality & price point . Most motorcycles will now have at least some parts or engine & even whole motorcycles sourced from China , Firms like Honda Suzuki Yamaha ,Harley ,BMW ,Triumph ,Aprilia , & others use Chinese partnerships & others in the far east . One of my bikes is a Chinese built Suzuki & the build quality is as good as anything I see on modern Japanese bikes & equally as reliable. Just wish they would get out the habit of fitting bitza numberplate mudguards & tacky gold coloured upside down forks ,on otherwise potentially decent looking bikes .
Triumph make most of their bikes in Thailand including the Bonnevilles and they work fine. It’s the same ethos as Moto Morini, design it locally and build it in the Far East. I don’t say I like it but it’s the way of the world these days.
Several KTM engines are made in China, and the new KOVE that finished all 3 bikes in the Dakar Rally recently. They make millions of reliable engines these days but the old stereotypes remain.
Manufactured location - red flag. After sale servicing/support - red flag. Parts quality for a country that rains all the time and salts the roads - red flag. Lack of quality parts or used market to do own servicing - red flag. Resale value will dive after the first year as with Lexmoto, Keeway, Sinnis. Buy Japanese.
My cfmotos have been brilliant, and this is the same bike mostly. I get no supporting china but I'm getting so tired of people thinking these bikes are trash. They're really good
@@chrispekel5709 I never said don't support or buy Chinese. We all have basic household items from china. A vehicle is a different matter. You're money is better spent in a second hand jap bike over a new or used chinese bike. every time.

I like the smaller bikes and anywhere from 350-750 cc are my sweet spot but it seems like people expect all bikes to get up and go like a 1000cc plus crotch rocket. You want bikes like this to be controllable at low speeds imo
I bought a Chinese made Benelli TRK 502 in New Zealand. It's wonderful. Japanese quality, Italian flare and threequarters Japanese price. Trouble is the dealers. Very few and far between. Mine was operating out of his home garage because his business had failed! And the first time I went to change the oil - I could not get an oil filter! LOL I dropped it in my garage and broke the screen. 3-months to get a new one. Which, after much swearing by me, they took off a showroom bike.

I normally don't like Scrambler style bikes but this is not one of them. This is a piece of art. Just WOW!
Like the Color Too
I'm in love with it's voice.
I kinda like the look,, but when you flashed the Fantic Caballero,, oooh baby! That is a fine looking Scrambler 😍.
Hubba Hubba 🔥.
Nice one Bob !
That's a damn fine looking bike and great value, too 🤔
Would the scram 411 not be better value ?
Lol how ??? At the end Kawasaki 650ern engine is here
It is I believe from the same stable as my ex Benelli, which whilst most reviewers said it was fantastic, it turned out a right nightmare and is disposed of with relish! Back to Honda with no worries whatsoever!
Different company building it
just another japanese paid troll.. it's a lot of money to ignore
that's not the same, Benelli are Chinese motorcycles from QJIAN JIANG where only the purchased name Benelli is on it.
If the Bajaj Dominar 400 is available there, please do a review of that motorcycle.
Loved your review. Have you tried the CFMOTO 700 CL-X, how do you compare both? What about the Macbor Eight Mile 500 scrambler and the Benelli Leoncino 800 Trail? Thank you
Just bought moto marina calibro amazing bike, and I have had Busas gsx1000 ,but now 80 years old had to slow down, but calibro very good.
Love the design but for me it would need a bit more power and less weight to consider it.
I believe the STR has an 18 inch front wheel as well. Good decision to have the same on both bikes, since the frame is exactly the same.
Дуже стильно і якісно, щось подібне планую зробити для себе. Підкажіть який бюджет приблизно такого ремонту? Дякую
Have you compared the X700 from CF Moto?
Looks pretty good. Similar to CF Moto; definitely looks premium in the flesh.
Cfmoto 700CLX adventure has entered the chat.
Wow just looked that up.... You are absolutely right!
the versys engine is good....trust me! owning one for 78 k kilometers, good engine.
trouble is this isn't one ...its a Chinese copy of it !!
I was just looking into the x-cape a few mins ago and now you put out a video on their other bike. What timing
It’s strange how your comparison didn’t include the new Honda hornet engine, which just might be the class leader now
Will this motorbike be comfortable to ride for a rider who is 165 cm tall?
It seems DOA with Honda’s new 500 scrambler for similar money
That rebel is hideous

Great review as always! 😎
Yeah, from my point of view. I honestly think we should ( where possible) not by Chinese products..
Why not?
Si ahora todo es chino nos guste o no con mayor razón para que bajen precios y haya repuestos
Lol most of the products you use every single day are made in China 😂
Moto Morini still develops and produces in Italy in Pavia, only owned by the Chinese Zhongneng Group.
either way crap ,,,,,😁😁😁😁😁
但是发动机 是cf仿制 kawasaki 650
Another high quality video. Thank you. Let me go find the xcape video...
Thanks once again a great review 👍
Iy has navigation too ? How does it work ?
Screen mirroring of your phone
Nice scrambler as well, the new hornet is just little more money to be honest. Do you think is beginner friendly!? Cheers ✌️
Looks much better than it sounds, but great value for the price!
between this bike and CF Moto 700 cl-x heritage which one do you prefer?
I have same question hahaha.
All about that side-eye at 5:01.
Super similar esthetic to my Svartpilen
I really like the looks but still leaning to the honder Cb650r

I don't like the cables obstructing the dash's view.
That’s a great looking bike - not considered any of the Chinese made machines before, but that really has something 👍🏻👍🏻
Looks a bit like Darryl Dixons bike of the walking dead, I like it 👍
looks ok. Wouldn't know until you rode it.

You forgot to mention the Royal Enfield Scram! Yes it is less powerful, but it is cheaper

Just seen these bikes for sale new in UK online( Autotrader) for under £5500 looks great value! Date 12/10/24

A lot of European bikes are made in China .
Put a shaft drive on it and im there!
Looks similar to the CFmoto 700
Well, that seems pretty conclusive. We're mostly Pro- Motobob and Anti- Chinese shite.
Excellent.
Chinese. Badge engineering at it absolute worst.
You want a REAL Italian motorcycle? You can bet on Moto Guzzi - always will be built from scratch in Mandelo Del Lario.
Nice
I own this bike and I would luv 2 say wait a minute I lost my train of thought.
This bike looks very much like Ducati Scrambler Urban Enduro. Even the colors and tires. But less horsepower.
They lost me as soon as I heard it was made in china. Not interested. I rather pay a bit more for something made in Europe or Japan.
