I was just saying to my wife that fans need to walk the track. Daytona let's everyone onto the track after the races. And it's just mind blowing. The ruts are massive! The jumps look just not real. They're like looking at a wall. I believe that if more people walked the track they'd get a better appreciation. It really is hard to understand unless you can stand in it.
I’m seeing more girls on big bikes on the trail. It’s great. My wife rides a 300 and she’s 50. It’s more of a mind set I think. I’m sure we’ll see some girls in supercross soon

Great Interview. I remember seeing Vicki racing the year Marc won his 250 title. Another awesome interview would be Mitch of Pro Circuit ( whom, of coarse, you know very well). From his days of racing to grooming the stars of our sport.
I think he already did years ago, I remember Mitch doing a long interview, it had to be on this channel... there's not too many people he'd do that for, mainly because he doesn't have time nor would he want to lol. But his back story before his injury and then leading into making after market parts like exhausts and porting cylinders is pretty cool.
Mitch did two episodes. It’s worth a listen. Epic career.

I’m not so sure she understands how she’s going to be part of American motocross/supercross history!… Remember- millions quit this sport when things don’t go their way.. MX isn’t needlepoint, if you’ve got decent speed and can hang it out- consider yourself special.. there’s not a lot of people who can do this sport! If it’s painful at times, you’re doing it right.
She should have Will Christian's job in supercross. A real rider, not a wakeboarder
TBH it's kinda funny how the American public has focused on the WRONG types of motorcycling when it comes to women's competitions as motocross, arenacross, supercross, endurocross and GNCC all need quite a lot of muscle power... which is exactly what women lack when compared to men
Easier motorcycling competitions for women?
· Road racing, specially on small and medium-powered bikes
· FMX (if you _forget_ about whips)
· Oval racing (both flat track and speedway)
· Stunting
All 5 could have extremely healthy AMA national championships with an exclusive class for women. MX and endurocross were embarrassing because they highlight the differences between men and women and how much that affects pace.
PS: Fuck those "academy-style" women's competitions, implying that the only objective for a woman is to compete (and fail) against men. The UCI women's world champion for DH MTBing doesn't need to race the men's and neither does the FIS women's alpine skiing world champion either.

When I rode at palm in mid n late 80s so many fkng 3 wheelers and quads were out there all the jumps were rounded off w no lips to catch air. They ruined the place...I had tracks in mira mesa and Marty smiths track where the 805 n 5 met in del mar on the side of the hill. Bader manneh, tallind volland, Smith bunch of fast dudes were out there often. Was a killer road jump too. Smith hauled ass still on his kx250. Never saw a hott chick like Vicki out there. Maybe Mercedes Gonzalez at Carlsbad! Lol
Barona was a glorified bmx track they'd not allow anything over a 125 there at the time late 80s. Mostly a mini moron track. Michael Craig was out there on a yz125 he caught n passed me but I held him off for a lap or 2.
Stupid me and my stupid friend went to Pala for the first time. Saw 4 girls at their trucks gearing up. "LOL" we thought, "we'll use 'em for berms." Hell...they used US as berms!!! They were RIPPIN'!!!
