Twitch is a super nice guy. I met him randomly on the street in Brisbane I walked passed him as I was way passed him I went no fucking way . He turned around and went yeah bro it's me . Gave me a hug and a hi five. Made my fkn day
I ran into him at a Cracker Barrel in NE TN and was like no fucking way, turned the car around and got a pic with him. We talked about bikes briefly then I went on my way. Uploaded the pic on insta and tagged him and he commented on it back being polite. Solid dude!
I met Twitch at the baggage claim in San Diego a few months ago. He was really cool. I wish I could've talked more with him but being right in front of a legend I couldn't think of anything to say. I was just happy to get a fist bump and let him know that he had been a role model for me, growing up free riding and racing in Washington. We got bored of the same tracks and rode gravel pits. Making videos and massive hits 🤘🏾 Talked for a few minutes and he seemed like a super genuine dude.
Met twitch back in 2003 at X-Games. This was back when he was in the spotlight for freestyle moto-X. Parked in the parking lot at the event, start walking to the coliseum and I hear two guys laughing behind me. I turned around and it was twitch and a couple other dudes talking shit to each other and laughing. I stopped and said “hey twitch!” He nodded and said what’s up, shook my hand just kept walking. Smelt like hella weed 😂. He got bombarded by fans at the entrance and said hey to almost everyone while he bypassed the line. Seriously one of the most genuine guys I’ve met in moto industry.
Golden is totally GOLDEN!!! What a down ass chick! GYPSY!!!!!! F-in the the show brother!!!! Always love your content , I never miss! Love your perspective too man! Keep up the great work!
I've known Twitch since he was 14-15. I also lived in Santee, just down the street from him. I used to watch him ride BMX at the local jumps around the county. If I looked hard enough I could find a video, on VHS tape of hime riding with him in the desert. When he was doing huge jumps on a 125. Bigger than anyone on 250's. You see him, tell him Tackett said what's up. I concur, Jeremy has always been down to earth. Even after he blew up, he always took the time to stop and say what's up to me.
Confidence can make all the difference weather you do something successfully or not. The guys i ride with always try to make you feel like you can do it. But at the same time they wont try to push you into something your not ready for.
I met twitch at the Mountain Dew action sports tour when one of the riders broke both their legs, I believe it was him if I’m not wrong. My uncle was a marketing executive and got us these tickets where we got to meet and chill with all the athletes in their lounge. One of his partners was Panasonic and he was giving out new 60 inch plasma TV’s to a couple of the riders and I remember twitch and a few others came up and wanted TV’s too haha. They got their TV’s and everyone was happy! It was a weekend I’ll never forget!
I talked to Twitch and Taka on the sidewalk in San Diego...but it was in Japanese so i was really just talking to Taka.😅 Walking over there where the homeless camp was right outside the stadium.. feelin pretty gritty, and i shit you not, Ryno walked by but he blended in with the "urban campers" , i still can't stop laughing at that exchange
This is why twitch has always been my favorite! I’ve grown up kinda the same way and I’m trying to do what he’s done but in drag racing! I’d love to meet him one day but I’m far nor cal and he don’t come up here 😢
Growing up watching twitch growing up while competing on the big stage with guys that were much older than him. The only thing that changed is he started taking things more seriously and started investing in business and made it so he could free ride and just do exhibition shows no more competing.
New you're Dad Peter pretty well, always taking pictures at the tracks I would doing the same when my kid was racing, Twitch is a good guy knew my son. It has been 20 years since my son raced, to many injuries, but it is still cool that it was one big family.
Money doesnt necessarily make you successful, its doing what you love to do every time you wake up in morning and you cant wait to get to your love of life
Years ago I saw a hilarious quote by Twitch, in some un-named dirt bike mag, about a sneaker company giving him a new pair of expensive sneakers which he promptly traded for a gram of crank/meth, lol. Like at the very first part of the interview, not buried in the article.
I made a comment about how someone was filming twitch on one of his real moto edits and how they should invest in a steady cam setup and he blocked me 😂. Pretty lame if you ask me
Like man she said like like 90 times in like 9 minutes like man that’s a lot of likes I don’t really like the way like a lot of people these days like use the word like so many times in like a short amount of time like in most people’s like conversations

Mean streets in the cajon zone...

Twitch has had that idea to get paid just to get riding footage and quit contests ever since he started riding contests!
