Update...we just camped there Sept 2024. It is a LAKE, its huge. Awesome place. Shade has filled in remarkably. Amphitheater is great, movies on sat night. Snack shack sells funnel cake, ice cream, popcorn, candy. Hand dipped ice cream at camp store is the very best!! 1 or 2 hosts are at each loop, they do a fantastic job. Everything is super clean. Love this place so so much. Cant recommended enough.
I like the repetative narrative because you are thorough. A complete drive thru shows me all of the spots without having to travel there and investigate. This review was very informative. We love Caesar Creek lake for kayaking, and now we are going to try camping. The whole region is rich with things to do. Yay Ohio!! Thanks for the video.
Me and my wife have drove through the campground, but never camped there. We live in Columbus and drive down there for the flee market on the other side of the freeway and always talked about how nice the campground is. We now have our camper on a seasonal campground at Indian Lake and if you guys have not been there they have a great state campground there too. I really enjoyed your video, thank you.
Hope you're using a golden buckeye card( over 60yr old) 50% off all Ohio state parks. Love Caesar creek, the little Miami river scenic trail bike path from Springfield to Cincinnati is near by. And the campground does fill up every weekend.
@@Rvdaydream Mike, sorry I just thought since you were retired a couple years you might be 60, Heidi I never thought you were. M y wife and I retired a couple years ago, I'm 62 and we use my golden buckeye card as often as we can. Number one perk so far being over 60.
Your information was very helpful thank you so much. My wife and I had planned a trip to Caesars Creek and your video made all the difference for us. Please continue to make videos of this type.
Awesome, so glad it helped.. We review every park we have been to, we appreciate you watching and commenting.. Safe travels and have an awesome weekend.. You will definitely like Caesar Creek. If you ever head to Virginia check out our video on First Landing State Park in Virginia, it's a pretty detailed video of alot of great sites.
I live close to Caesar’s Creek. It is a nice state park, lake, and good hiking trails. I think you may have been there before the crowds hit. It is usually packed in the summer and fall. The weekends are especially crowded most of the camping season. The only downside I have is the lake can be really busy due to being close to both Dayton and Cincinnati.
Thanks for this video! I camped at Caesar's Creek years ago and we are thinking of doing a family camp there this year. I'm in Northern KY across the river from Cincinnati and we usually camp at East Fork in Bethel, OH or AJ Jolly in Alexandria, KY. This video will help us find the perfect site to camp!!
Mike & Heidi. Great job taking us through the park. We were able to see the sights in loop “C” we have reserved for the fall trip south. As I said we have stayed in a lot of Ohio’s State Parks but had never heard of Caesar Creek. You have to admit Ohio does a great job with our State Park Campgrounds. 👍& Be Safe.
Yay we are site 79! Excited you shared that it’s a nice site! Ty for this! Can you tell me if the fire rings have a cooking rack on it? We have one and didn’t know if we needed to bring it. Thanks again!
Totally unrelated to the great campground overview. Did you guys get the recall for your 2020 F350? Apparently problems with the transmission and it has to be pulled to fix, Yikes!!
Caesar Creek State Park seems super cool to me. They appear to have been building it up, at the time in which you visited it. As it seems like it was primarily designed for short 1-week stays or less. However, with the improvements they were making, to include more full hookups, that should allow someone to want to stay there for longer then a week. The spaciousness alone make this place very livable. You would make a great camping host Mike. And Heidi is good at knowing and remembering the rules too, so she would make a good host based on that as well. I love it so much when you both do these riding video's.
Thanks Uncle Stellar.. I am pretty sure most State Parks in Ohio only allow 2 weeks at a time before you have to move.. This is a great park and spacious between sites.. One day we will go back and check it out to see what improvements they have done.. I think Ohio has some of the nicest parks.. 😁
@@Rvdaydream I totally agree 👍 Infact, I'm totally in love with West Branch, I think it's the best in Ohio, and I formed that opinion, just watching it on your channel. I did not know about Ohio's state parks 2-week max law. They should increase that. Hehe Have a wonderful morning 🌅
Yes West Branch is a favorite for sure.. If they made more full hookups especially in the cool sites near the lake, that would be awesome.. There are alot of sites I would love to stay at that face the lake.. Have a super day, today is moving day for us, so stay tuned 😁
I have camped here srveral times. They were taking donations to add playgrounds. Caesars Creek is a large Lake. I enjoy staying here and going to Renaissance Festival.
What you don’t realize is most working people arrive on Fri night and leave after noon on Sunday. Plus has been cold and season hasn’t started yet. Beautiful campground though.
I can always count on you two to show us around Ohio campgrounds - I was researching this place and watched your video about it. Well done! The one thing I noticed that was remarkable is that there was no shade. Having a tent with no canopy made my decision not to stay but it's certainly spacious.
There’s a paved bike trail very close. You can access it from Corwin which is about 10 minutes away you can go for miles on this trail. You will love it.
@@Rvdaydream Sorry, I didn’t think about this video not being real time but if you ever stay their again the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail runs hundreds of miles. You can access the trail in Corwin it goes South 40 miles and North many miles. Xenia is a trail hub branching off many directions. I like watching your videos seeing how you retirements are going and you’re travels. Looking forward to your travels out West.
We live so close, but I've only been kayaking and hiking there. I've driven through the campground and thought about it, but now I'm definitely going to reserve a spot. Can you tell me about your e bikes and what you find to be your favorite features? In the market to buy one and trying to do the research.
very good review but i would say the reason no one is there and West Branch is full is because there are no trees on this campground --and west branch has fantastic wooded sites --we love west branch and i had thought about this park but not now -- thank you for such a detailed look at the park
Very nice and big sites ! I really like those bikes they go pretty fast don’t they? Thanks for the videos I really enjoy all of them. My husband and I watch you yesterday on our big tv 📺😉
That was the second time that we drove to the park on the bikes. Every Loop was driven through twice overall on the same charge... We don't ever worry about mileage unless we are going to be traveling over 9 miles in one direction... They easily do 20 miles..
Mics were great...nice park but looking at pictures in summer...tons of kids on that beach...lol..looks like a place to go during the week when school is in session.
I'm amazed at how spacious this campground is and how many empty spaces there are. We booked a trip for July and are staying mostly at KOA campgrounds. But most everything we tried to get into was nearly at capacity. Maybe it is because it is too early and all the native Ohio folks know that it might snow on them this weekend. Oh no, I hope I didn't jinx you and I hope it doesn't snow on you this weekend.
Thank you so much for another great video today I really enjoyed watching it and love how you explained everything so thoroughly hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy until the next video always love a good camping video
Wow great state park, a great place to relax. We are going to an Indiana state park in June so next trip east an Ohio state park is on our list. Thanks for all the info.
Our videos are current within 1 week of uploading 😁 also we may have not mentioned Ohio, we did show the campground outlay that did list the address. But thanks for pointing that out and thanks for watching.. 😁
A day? When we stopped at Half Shell Resort in Satsuma the owner td us her electric bill was 8000-9000 a month in the summer.. And she doesn't charge electric for long term.. I told her she needed to do something....
@@Rvdaydream I forgot to state that that is for our expensive provincial parks system. That is the daily rate on top of the usually $40 to $50 base rate for a non-electric site. Adavced reservations are $11.50 extra too. I find that the private campgrounds are just a little more expensive but usually give you a water hookup.
Lack of mature trees on the sites has always been a deterrent for us. Yes, we have air and an awning but trees are always good. This park just doesn't have many. The golden buckeye card is helpful in ohio. Because of the lack of trees we normally go somewhere else.
It was interesting to see a boat ramp that didn’t have a car or truck being dragged into or out of the water. Like in a lot of other RUclips videos. Lol.
We will be doing a video on Full Time RV transportation other than using your truck to get around. Probably going to be a couple weeks before we can do that
It's Ohio not Arizona. Trees cause more issues than good most the time. Crap always falling off of them including a limbs. Having an arborist try to keep them alive. Trees are not necessarily a rvers friend.

It is a nice park. I'm not sure what you mean by repetitive. I looked at your channel to see if I could find an example of what I need to be doing differently and come to find out you don't post videos?
