I believe many people was surprised as well, but unfortunately there would still be ungrateful and uneducated people saying "Greece should've been included in the West Balkans DLC" Statements like that shows how poorly educated they're in geography.
How can most people not realize that Greece is actually located South?

finally after a long time greece was missing only with promods We were able to drive but only in northern greece due to egnatia highway was the door for east asia and west europe through igoumenitsa port , but now and as a greek i could explore my whole country specially in the most greek islands cuz irl i didn't have enough time and money to explore the beauty, thank you so much scs for this amazing gift, the greece!!!

They already can do that with promods which is much more realistic and with more features in it

Lets hope we get the greek islands around Mediterranean sea but Malta would be good combinations together.
They said in the blog post that some of the islands will be included.
Malta is in promods too already but there's no greek island there is only the towns in the north considering promods is making much more than scs

SCS Software, Brazil has the potential to be on your future projects, but i'm waiting anxious, that the same shock, that flight simulator made in 2020 you maybe shock us with a total new ETS3, I could pay €70 with much pleasure. i believe in you.

@@kramar3110 Without SCS there wouldn't be a promods to play with. Promods builds upon the og map and it even includes reworks from SCS into their map. There's no reason to hate.

They will when the time comes, for now Switzerland, Benelux, the cities in Germany and some other cities of the base map have priority, but the time for the UK will come and it will be worth the wait.

For the next updates, SCS could bring dynamic weather, the same as in the fly simulator, something else And implementing the possibility of using real time in the settings menu, it would be great to have this possibility for those who like to play with real time.

Creta: Cidades de: Heraklion, Chania, Agios Nikolaos, Siteia, Ierapetra, e Ritmno como cidades principais. Pequenas cidades com atividades agricolas, minerais e turisticas: Arcalochori, Dafnes, Archanes, Crusonas, Gialos, Palechora, Askifou, Chora Sfakion. I don’t know about others, but I hope that this will be an addition to the West Balkans DLC. That is, like the islands of Corsica and Sardinia, which were also announced as additions to the DLC.

@@Djuri. Balkan is more destroyed in scs than in promods even without them having the dlc in it 😂
Greece isn’t west Balkans. Corsica and Sardinia were added to existing DLCs because they belong to those countries
Great news but also concerning a little bit because Greece isn't a big country to be a Standalone DLC like Italia in my opinion but if it'll be supported with big islands with industries (not the small touristic ones) and the amount of cities/places won't affect the overall map re-scaling, it'll be a very good addition for sure. The DLC will also include some of the smaller islands around it, so the DLC will have a relatively okay size

I think your comment “isn't a big country” has nothing to do with the game, which isn't anyway in 1:1 scale, so it could easily be as any other county in the game.
@@_p4n0s_ i mentioned this because of possible rescaling issues depending on the size of the country. Fitting same amount of cities inside a smaller size country is way harder than bigger ones in the game (i know this info from Pro Mods developers) so it can be looking different and unnatural among the rest of the map and the countries we have but thankfully Greece has many decent size islands for developers to put into play (especially Corfu and Crete) so I'm pretty sure it'll be worth it for Greece to be standalone map DLC like Italy / France. Hopefully a little bit cheaper than them too :)
I think we should move on to ETS3 and upgrading the game for good but it won't happen anytime soon while we get excited for those DLCs after so much years. @@metcat88

SCS I wanted to ask as a Pole when Poland will be updated, it is the first country along with the Czech Republic and Slovakia to be released in the game as DLC
Probably after Base Game is finished being reworked (Still got Switzerland, Benelux, and the U.K.) so it'll take awhile. They revealed Northern Scandinavian research trip stuff awhile ago so they might also rework Scandinavia to go with that. And then also they might work on Ireland to go along with the U.K. Rework. So who knows how long, just gotta focus on other things and sooner or later it'll come. If you focus on it so much, it'll feel like foreeverrr

The problem with Poland in this game is not only that it's old in the game, but also that it's completely not actual. Over half of these roads should have been highways (or expressways, but it's almost the same). They actually built thousands kilometers of highways irl since last Poland map update in ets2.
Там той Греции, а стоить будет 1100. Да, курс рубля скажите Вы, но за огромную Францию, Италию и Иберию мы отдавали 600 и хоть было за что, даже нынешних денег было бы не жаль, огромная территория, куча дорог, крутых мест. Та же Польша по размерам стоила своих денег. Балтика тоже стоила своих 600 рублей. В дороге к Черному морю, отдельный респект за Румынию, вот она впечатляет, тоже стоило своих денег. Балканы маленькие оказались, не стоят они 1100. И тут вот эта Греция. Дорогие SCS я рад, что Вы развиваете свой продукт, как в плане физики, механики, графики и многого другого, но Вы либо добавьте к Греции ещё территорию Турции, либо цену скиньте на это ДЛС. Интересен вопрос, насчёт дальнейшего развития карты, ведь Европа заканчивается. Теперь остались только Турция, Молдавия, Украина, Беларусь, (Швеция, Финляндия и Норвегия, но там то и в жизни дороги не крупные и как быть не ясно), ну и окей Россию до Урала (в нынешних реалиях, ясно, что Вы будете избегать дропа как России, так и Украины, банально чтобы не вызвать срача насчёт территории Крымского полуострова, хотя Косово, вроде как толерантно приняли), а дальше мысли? Переработка изначальной карты и всех ДЛС по-порядку? Заранее, чтоб не вызывать срача, я только за развитие игры и мне всё равно хочется наблюдать карту всё больших и больших размеров!
Я думаю Греция будет стоить меньше

To be honest with you, I was kinda thinking that they might do Greece and expanded Turkey in one go. Never the less, UK needs desperately some rework plus Ireland would be also great.
Did you attend geography lessons in school? Most of Turkey isn't the part of Europe. This is a Euro Truck Simulator, not an Asia Truck Simulator. Turkey's European parts are already available in the Road to the Black Sea DLC.
@@Gothpaladinusbruh, in that sense only European side Turkish teams would play in UEFA, but no all teams can play, thus this is just a game, so money talks, if SCS software see the opportunity to make money via creating Turkish DLS then definitely they will do ,but right now actual Europe is not completed yet, so firstly they will do them and then they can switch Turkey and maybe Caucasus nations etc , who knows maybe in later future they can add all Mediterranean coastal cities in Middle East and North Africa , so all about is Money
It is apprehensible that they did not add Anatolia due to "Asia" but it would be nice if they would add top-10 of Istanbul such as Hagia Sophia, Bosphorus Bridge, some municipalites of Istanbul, Eurasian Tunnel and Kennedy Street continuing along the coastline.
On the other hand, in my opinion, UK should be rebuilded immediately like how they did the Austria and Germany. ETS2's UK map is absolute shit.
Fortunately we have ProMods that provides reality

Well, there's the smallest DLC to ever release for ETS2. I was expecting some parts of western Anatolia also, but I guess not. Hope you do a really good job on it, to make it worthwhile.

Nice video. Hopefully they will take into consideration other advice I have given them, on graphical improvements, a high level update regarding the ''Graphics'' sector. I am referring to DirectX 12, Ray Tracing, Dlss, skybox, asphalt, sidewalks, street and residential lights, mountain textures, trees, gardens, sea, rivers, puddles, aquaplaning n water, drops of water on the bodywork of trucks and vehicles of traffic. In short, a mega update to give a young look to a game that is still unique in its genre. Furthermore, I have been asking for a RE-ELABORATION of the Italy DLC for years, many things need to be revised, a nation that is not very complete, still with the first textures, unwatchable I say as an Italian. Furthermore, the used vehicle system that they just implemented with 1.49 needs to be reviewed. After 11 years each of us has companies, employees that bring significant earnings, so our wallets are nice and full, I don't see the reason to buy a used truck that's broken instead of a new one. My advice is to review the physics and the damage. Adding visible damage, economics calculations, so that if each of us in the company has a mileage truck destroyed after an accident created by us or by employees, we can consider purchasing a used one that is worth repairing instead than fixing the one we own, our damaged truck, selling it is making it available in a used list for the entire online community, so that they can now buy it for less with already modifications and customizations made by us. What do you think about this?

Guys, you really shouldn't hold back Russia DLC. I don't think it is right to delay this DLC because of a war. You can't blame the comunity for the crazy decisions of a few politicians.

Good news... but Greece is barely the size of Bosnia, yet it will get its own DLC. I wonder about the price. I was pretty much convinced SCS would take this opportunity to bundle Greece and the western part of Turkey in the same package.
Greece is 2.5 times larger than Bosnia by area fyi.
Nothing down from the central part will be included since even promods don't have all the territory in
Greece is almost three times the size of Bosnia.
None of this compares to the awesomeness of the most anticipated "Heart of Russia" DLC, but because of the yellow and blue "people" the developers had to postpone this wonderful addition indefinitely :с
