This is really great. I just picked up TaleSpire a little while ago, but mainly to play with and help visualize things when playing solo. I have no illusions about being able to create something cool. Fortunately, it's easy to find and use stuff from other creators.
Never used the faves bar never knew about it so thanks ... As for ambience I normally do a search on youtube for ambient sound scapes .. I find the talespire stuff to be a little short so I find youtube stuff (dungeon, harbour, city etc) these are usually multi hour long so I prefer them :) Oh and you mention saving stuff on other boards ... the problem with this is swapping out and back in so I have a folder with text files of sames "Clip art" ... have a text file and a jpg with the same name .. It's a little easier having 2 monitors jumping between the two, but I can open a text file on one, copy and paste in the other :)
This is some truly inspirational stuff man I need to take some of your advice in my designs, cause I've just been doing everything piece by piece, totally forgetting to bother with the slab system
just a little note: I believe the 8x8 grassland tile isn't the one you actually ended up using, it's a different texture than the smaller grass tiles, which is a shame, because I like the 8x8's texture better, would love to see smaller tiles of this to create the variation in topography.
Thank you! Exactly! You've created re-usable and modifiable slabs that you can add to any board or other projects you're working on. Even during an active game, in a flash!
@@NordicForge I tried it today. Pretty cool. I copied a warehouse and posted it on another map and quickly made it into a tavern. Awesome! I also used your idea and sunk stuff into the floor to leave just patches of dirt and debris.
You can copy and paste directly from one map into another. I would recommend having two sessions open when building. One with your assets, and another with your actual world.
Starting strong between the videos and the superb slabs!
Wow! Thank you! That means a lot coming from you. I absolutely LOVE your builds and have learned so much from your creations and videos.
@@NordicForge well you gotta keep an eye on the concurrents ;)
;) Indeed.
Looks like I finally got my video editor issue solved! I hope you enjoy the video and have an amazing day!

Great to hear! Thank you for the comment. I've got some new videos in the works on more dungeon/encounters and it also helps me world-build etc.
I will happily give you your coveted 1000th subscription
You did it! Thank you!
Great tutorial man! I am looking forward to more of your builds. I finally get to see your thought process play out as you go! Really cool!
Awesome, thank you for watching!
Super cool tool! I am really enjoying it as well. I love your builds you put on talestavern but it was really cool to see you build them.
More to come man! Thanks for watching!

You're inspiring, sir. I get a nice Bob Ross vibe from your direction. Super cool. Keep this up!
Thank you! Yes! I've got some ideas for more videos soon!
Great stuff, really helpful!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for the kind comment!
600! I'm the exact 600th sub
Haha! Awesome! You've just made history. Happy to have you!
Excellent tutorial! Please do many more! Could you save those pieces as slabs and drop them on new boards that way?
Thank you! Exactly! You've created re-usable and modifiable slabs that you can add to any board or other projects you're working on. Even during an active game, in a flash!

@@isaacroussel4388 Nice man! So glad you're building some awesome stuff!
But how can I save those assets for some another map?
You can copy and paste directly from one map into another. I would recommend having two sessions open when building. One with your assets, and another with your actual world.
26:47 - Can you save the whole structure as a single piece though?
Yes, you can do that as well!
@NordicForge How? That'd be very useful
@@NordicForge I'm also confused (like the reply above) as to how to do it, sorry!
And thx for the reply!
