Very enjoyable. Glad to see you didn't tear the bench apart. You and Mike are great pals. Both of you sharing the work, laughing and having fun. That's too awesome. Scout sure was on the alert. Good boy!
radical video. simple and inspiring. this is what happens when three friends share a common area in the woods. gonna make it happen. thanks for the simulation.
Very nice with the spice straw idea. I've done that to make small, single-use neosporin packets, but I never would have thought of that for seasonings. Looks like a great way to have a no-spill container without carrying more salt and pepper than you could ever use on an overnighter. Thanks for the tip!
Make a review of the fjällräven friluft backpack! it looks awesome. great videos Joe! The camping with a Girl video got my wife excited to go out so Thank you very much!
awsome overnighter joe looked like a lot of fun. I liked the tarp configuration. Bunch of us are doing a bush day on boxing day . Good food and a couple of drinks with good friends can't be beat. Best wishes to you and your family.
very well done!! thx for sharing! I was especially touched by the end where you showed deconstruct of camp. not many think about leaving it better than you found it. looking forward to exploring your postings. a fan called Rhonda
If you roll those foil ends in the other direction away from the seam side, it will tighten up the seam and keep it that way much better. Great over nighter. Luxurious actually. You can't even rent that. Thanks for the adventure.
Have watched a couple of your videos now and enjoy them a great deal. You show a variety of shelter styles and ideas for around the campsite. Keep them coming. Scout appears to be wonderful camp companion. I often bring along a small piece of tubing to help concentrate the blowing when restarting a fire in the morning.
A very nice tarp set up, Joe. Liked the bench too. The cooking was awesome, might try the spuds like that, would have liked to see how you do your eggs ( I have had varied luck with roasting them in the coals, rather than just frying them ). Enjoyed the vid, good fun, thanks for taking us along.
Great time Joe,, wish I was with you guys! Ever bring a leangth of rubber tubing with short piece of copper at the end for rekindling your fire? You don't have to put your face in the ashes and it's easier for us older guys. You blow on the rubber end while holding the copper end.
Love your videos! have my greetings from Hungary (central Europe) and I hope you're doing well. You and your friend are both good men. Wish you the best.
Had watched this before, but had to give it another go. I bought a Kelty-12 this summer and my friend and I are going to use it in a week or so for a fall two night trip in the hills! We set it up (a single Adirondack) yesterday (in the park) just so we would know what to do later! The bench is a great idea & we may have to give it a go too. Thanks Guys!
Another great video. Looks like you had a lot of fun Joe and Mike. I think it was great to show you laughing and having fun. Not sure everyone knows that you can laugh in the woods. Most videos are very serious. I will have to try that tarp set up also.
PMSL Scout is awesome. You guys are chucking all the wood away and he's always bringing it back to you hahah That's a great tarp setup too. Going to have to try that myself.
Great shelter and complete overview on the ups and downs of that campsite. Pretty sure all 48k. ppl. who have viewed this as of today all LOL at your combined comments re ..." yeah, could use some eggs" LOL, - great work as always all round to you both. Cool shelter tutorial - really good.
Liked the idea for the salt and pepper. You should had a Katana Boy for that iron wood. For that matter I wish I had a Katana Boy:-). WOW what a lot of garlic. You definitely don't want to be downwind from someone visiting nature the next morning. Thanks for the video.
I particularly like the 2tarp setup. The bench was simple and do able. Dunno abt the garlic breath in the morning tho.... I do know dogs like garlic so you're probably on a winner there too. 😞
nice tarp set up Joe .great eats too , rib eye is my favorite cut ,second is NY Strip . i suppose you will use that site again? or perhaps others will ? we always left whatever wood we had left stacked up for the next camper . today 12/20/15 was about 80-82 deg. my son and i had a couple of t-bones ,(a gift from a neighbor for a small kindness given ) ,but we didn't have hobo baked taters .when i was a kid we did our whole meal like that...meat ,veggies,taters...was awesome . 145
Joe i love your episodes men. Wish i have the guts to camp out by myself too. Maybe one-day i can camp out with you bro and mike.. Learn a thing or two from you guys . Take care and keep doing what you do. Thanks ..
This is still my favorite vid of Joe’s. Would love to see him do this tarp setup again, and would love to see Mike in a vid again

Yeah me too...
It's always nice to get back from vacation and see new Ranger Joe videos in your feed! Loved this one, looks like you guys had a blast. Thanks!
Cool to see you enjoying having a mate with you. So many vids with solo bushcrafters. Solidarity is cleansing. But mate-ship is strengthening.
This tarp setup reminds me how i used to make shelters in my house using chairs and blankets.

You’re mellowing with age, Joe, which makes your videos a lot easier to watch.
