I always watch but never comment, so here goes....I try to keep stocking stuffers to $20 max. I'm a boy mom and my 4 year old is cars OBSESSED, so he will get some Hot Wheels ($2ish), the die cast cars that I usually find at Walgreens that around 4 inches long, and maybe a monster truck. He also loves the Crayola Bath Dropz, they don't irritate his skin and they don't stain the tub or his skin, and it's a science lesson on color mixing. He also loves the pop fidget light up game and it would make a good stocking stuffer. Another surprising favorite are the fidget noodles. I'll also usually add new fun toothbrushes and Kinder chocolate. I try to keep stockings simple.

We love stockings. When I asked our 35 year old daughter, if we should halt the tradition, she said no, absolutely not! Unlike many people, I don't mind spending money on items that will bring joy and get some use. Here, stockings are another from of entertainment. Our daughter and son and law guess what's inside before they open. We always have acouple fun/gag gifts, but some pretty nice items too... subscriptions, jewelry, custom items, fragrances. Our grandson is just 3 years old. Love your idea of adding Tonies and the sand sounds interesting... Someone in the comments mentioned premade cookie mix, to make cookies together, which sounds like a nice idea too. Thanks for taking the time to make these Christmas videos. I am slowly making my way through your content, adding items to the cart as I go. Have a fun week!

Love this video! Thanks for all the ideas! I grew up with my mom putting MOSTLY practical things in our stockings like tooth brushes 😂 but I still loved getting that stuff because it was fun. She would also do several snackie/treat things too, but no big items. So, I tend to follow suit and do the same with my son. He usually gets his favorite snacks and treats (he’s gunna be 3 in January) and then maybe a couple books. I would say that I would not spend more than $25-30 on his whole stocking.

We do stocking stuffers like toothbrushes, toothpaste, new bubble bath or bath colors and things like that. We focus less on the price per item but try to keep it under $40-$50 per person total. We will see this year though because we have a new little guy that will also be getting a stocking!! 🎄🎅

Stocking stuffer prices vary for me from year to year. I have done complete awesome stockings for under $15. Another very frugal idea -- buy school supplies in July/August when they are on sale and use as stocking stuffers. My kiddo loves 50 cent crayons or 99 cent markers. Also, you can bundle school supplies and make an "art set" with a cute Dollar Tree container. However, occasionally I spend a $10-$20 on one items such as a mini build a robot kit or game such as kanoodle or mobi (I like to find one small educational game for stocking every year). My son loves them!! Paperpie books sells SmartLab toys and kids can create a garden, do art, science experiments -- you name it cute stuff but a little expensive -- they fit awesome in a stocking.

🎅At our house it depends on your age. ☃️ Santa likes to put earrings, makeup or hair accessories in my stocking.🎄Older kid gets earbuds & art supplies.🦌 Little man usually gets busy bag stuff. We all get a few pieces of our favorite candy & the kids get an ornament. And honestly sometimes the size of the gift is a factor. If it’s little it might go in your stocking so it doesn’t get misplaced (by misplaced I mean the little guy packed it off & hide it). Lol! 🎁 My mom does necessity stockings which we love. ❤️

Dollar Tree has little horses with manes that you can comb. I plan to put them in my girls’ stockings this Christmas. Also this time of year DT has felt animal masks. My kids love them, and they make great stocking stuffers.

Most of our stocking stuffers are between $1-2 (candy/treats, glow sticks, hair accessories, chapstick from the dollar store) but I also like to add in a few medium priced items ($5-10 range) like the surprise mini squishmallow figures or Disney doorables. Then I do one or two more expensive items ($20-30) like a piece of jewelry for my girls and a special ornament for each kid, so that they will each have their own collection to take with them when they are grown. ❤

🎄🎄I would say $20 would be the max I would spend on a stocking stuffer for my daughter. That does change sometimes for my husband and me. We don’t really buy many gifts for each other for under the tree, but we do a stocking for each other. Last year I think I put something in his stocking that was around $30. But we did 1 gift for each other under the tree plus a stocking. So that’s how I justified it. We spend more on our daughter, so her stocking stuffers are smaller. I love those busy books! We got a Toy Story one at Costco last Christmas and she still plays with it all the time. They are great!

I don’t think I’ve ever paid over bout £5 for each filler but I would probably pay up to £10, I love doing stockings but I think it would take the fun out by putting items in over 10. Also most people wouldn’t be able to truly fill a stocking for that amount without having more things In stocking than under tree but yet the stocking isn’t even full. Just my opinion!♥️

Only way I’m spending 20$ on a stocking stuffer is if I can split it between my kids! I try to keep it to 5$ and I like to do holiday themed snacks (Walmart usually has them in their Christmas aisle!) like goldfish crackers or “snowballs” (white cheddar puffs) 🎄🎄🎄

Stockings are so expensive for me however my kids are teens and they get all new hygiene stuff -pimple patches, shampoo, conditioner, body wash , hair stuff so while it’s pricey it’s stuff they need anyway my oldest is in college this year so this is even more helpful for him then when he lived at home and could find new stuff in the closet. They get snacks or fav drinks or gum as well. I still do silly string , punch balloons and bubble though they don’t do to waste

We always get new toothbrushes, a fun new tonie, new underpants, and typically low cost items like hot wheels or crayons/markers/etc. I buy extra during back to school and put them aside for Easter baskets and stockings. Also leftover Halloween candy that doesn’t look Halloween-esque 😂

Stocking stuffers $5 or less an item with the exception of maybe $10 for one or two items (they have to give us longevity to do that). Bonus I strive for 90% of the stocking stuffers to be consumable because all the cheap little dollar Christmas toys last a day and meltdowns Halle. If you try to throw away a broken toy. Lmao😂 I love to do premix cookie packets (like the Betty Crocker .98 pouches). It’s a fun activity to do either between Christmas and new years or even after, it’s interactive, and easy with minimal mess but they get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

The screw to the battery compartment was still in place but the battery still popped out when the frame had been knocked hard. I was lucky my kid didn't put things in her mouth but I am now very aware of how a screw will not protect a little one from a battery.

I do have a question. I am not from the US, in Germany we don't do Christmas Stockings on Christmas. When I was younger I stayed with a family in US for a while and now that I have my own kids we adapted the stockings but we do them december 6th instead of putting out our boots as it is the tradition in our country. Last year was the first time we did it and it was really cozy and nice. I only added small toys and mostly chocolate, oranges, christmas cookies, milk chocolate mix ... Anyways. those stockings are not huge so some of your gifts you showed are way to big. How do you use them as christmas stockings as it doesn't fit? Sorry if you already explained and I didn't listen in that minute.
