This year for my stocking I’m asking for new Yoto cards, a small microscope, more of the plus plus tubes and lipbalm! My mum normally also gets me fluffy socks as my feet always get so cold in the winter! ❤ I remember last year my mum got me a set of marbles and they have been so loved! I have autism and I play with them when I get overwhelmed. We do some sweets like skittles and kinder eggs but that’s it! I also get a Cadbury’s chocolate selection box every single year in my stocking (If you are British like me you will get it!)
We do get some candy/food items in our stockings like a Kinder Egg, a Pez dispenser, the LifeSaver storybook, a candy necklace/bracelet, etc. My parents do more toys, needed items, games, sports equipment, hygiene stuff, small electronics, jewelry, school supplies, arts/crafts, etc. My parents want us to play, be active, be creative, be imaginative, and learn new things. Plus, they get us things we can play with and enjoy over and over.
Love these ideas! Silly string is such a fun idea! I've always stuffed stockings with a new toothbrush/toothpaste/ mouthwash, body wash, shower pouf, chapsticks, clementines, jerky/beef sticks, bubble tape(holidays are the only time i buy them gum!) Tic tacs and the holiday shaped reeses. I have a middle schooler this year so deodorant and body spray are new stocking staples for him! He is excited about it, haha. I like to keep our stockings to consumable items because clutter stresses me out😂I do the same for Easter Baskets. My kids love it! They enjoy getting new hygiene items and trying out new fun scents. And they love getting a pair of aloe infused fuzzy socks!
@@Thetravelinghomesteaders I'm all about consumable gifts😂 for birthday parties I always do a gift bag full of the persons favorite snacks, drinks, treats, cereal, craft/office supplies, fun cake or cookie mix. Most items are just a buck or two so it ends up being super cheap!
