We are actually switching to this as kids change grade levels. We will start Level 4 in 2 weeks. Our current math is good but very mom intensive and it's very hard for me to keep up. Since this was made for one room schoolhouse type environment I hope it will be a good mix of parent involvement and independent work. Seeing how you do it is very helpful! I know you are so busy so just ignore if not possible right now but I would love more homeschool videos! Daily flows and routines, how you teach reading, how you start and flow into prodigy etc. I love your home education mindset.

So many ways to make fried rice. I start with sliced onions and celery. Then add shredded carrot and canned sliced water chestnuts. Add fresh chicken breast and cook. Then comes the rice. When hot, add soy sauce. Stir in scrambled eggs and it’s dinner time. Love to add frozen egg rolls as a side cooked in air fryer.

Good morning. Just enjoyed my first cup of coffee with you. I also make up freezers meals. I find if I put my seasonings in a one or two cup Pyrex measuring cup it makes it easy to put 1/3 or 1/4 of the seasonings in the bags. This might be helpful for new cooks. Debi in Vicksburg, MS. 🥰🥰

I think most Americans are seriously in debt. More in the last three years than normal. Some is due to living way beyond what they can actually afford. Some are just awful with money. Some are perfectly fine to shop till they drop and max out credit cards. And some are maxing out credit cards in order to feed their family. As a 60+ aged couple who is completely debt free, home and 100 acres paid for, vehicles paid for, etc., I want to share a few things with you. 1. Being in debt is hard. Getting out of debt is hard. Which "hard" do you want to be in? 2. Getting out of debt does mean making sacrifices. 3. Children need parents who are at peace more than they need things or vacations. 4. Couples need peace more than they need fancy cars and fancy vacations. (I am saying this in general, not towards you.). It is not easy being in a place that causes stress, worry or fear. People are going to have to end the instant gratification, the showing off, or trying to give themselves or their children the world when they can't make ends meet. It is far, far more enjoyable to shop, travel, etc. when you know you can actually afford to do so without putting yourself in debt so deep you can't get out of it. Wishing you the best in getting to a better place.

Lovely to see you posting 🥰 I think these days without a lottery win or family money everyone has some debt , even if it's just car and house , wages are nowhere near to buying those things outright , and then you only need to have a unexpected bill to make you in debt again , but you still need to live your life I think you are taking a very realistic approach 😘

Missed seeing videos from you. Also, I am so glad this wasn't a Dave Ramsey spiel of, "eat nothing but rice and beans, and mom gets a full time job to pay off all the debt immediately." I am a homeschool mom and we have debt in our family too. My husband got a better paying job, last year, and all it did was set us up to not struggle as badly as before, due to inflation. We do still go out to eat, and let our kids be in extra curricular activities. I'm still home with them and homeschool them. We'll get through it. Might not be soon, but that's okay.

I love your videos.. the reality for me ( I have 3-sons all 2-yrs apart) was doing everything myself, plus working. Although my husband was present in our home he never lifted a hand to help for which at the time and over the next 36-years I thought was normal🤔 I can only blame myself for being with a man that had been spoiled his whole life.. I accomplished my goal of staying with him and raising our boys in a home with both parents. ( I knew no different all those years that the thinking as a wife you did everything) anyhow..because I did acknowledge my husbands laziness I gave each son chores to do.. they did end up to be superior to tending to their wife and girlfriends.. better men then I could have only dreamed about.. Im glad to see that all of you work together as a family❤

Thanks for sharing a little bit of your background with us. Traveling is not for me. I live in NYS in the beautiful country and my little piece of paradise that I call Peaceful Pines Homestead..I love to sit under one of many of my pine trees and take in the beauty of nature. I have a fruit orchard, to many berry bushes to mention, a small greenhouse with several raised beds and a backyard flock..I love the simple life which is why traveling isn’t my thing. 2-years ago my oldest and I went to visit my middle son that decided after doing his 4-yr term in the USMC settled in California when he met a girl, married with 3-babies of his own. I didn’t like California at all..lol..Where my son lives its a hour from LA and everything is dead, no lush green lawns, mountains that are dead looking..106* in June..nope..not for me! I told my son I don’t know how you want to live in such a different type of environment then what he was grew up in..his answer it’s warm, sunny year round..no mosquitoes..lol..He did get stationed while in the USMC in Japan for 3-years..he said it was so beautiful there..he swam the ocean with the sharks, literally have filmed him ..got his scuba diving certified card..and ate endless amounts of sushi which he loves..I have been to Las Vegas at age 12..Florida at age 20..South Carolina in 1988 when husband graduated bootcamp ,..it’s not for me I didn’t enjoy myself at all it’s to hot, I was sweating terrible and black flag out at 9:00 in the morning which means it was over 90* when my husband was graduating and the air is thick as thieves 🥵..North Carolina lived there (Husband is a USMC) for 3-months..not my thing I left my husband and came back home ,,lol, not really funny at the time..but..we did get back together years later..did visit Virginia while living in NC..2013 went to South Carolina to watch my son graduate from USMC bootcamp..then to Vermont that’s it..I do want to visit Mexico since my dil’s family is originally from there, owns agave fields, cows, lots of land, and as of last year my dil bought a piece of land there..other then that I have no desire to go anywhere else. So who takes care of your animals when you leave? We just have our chickens now since my precious pup passed last year..I could ask my brother or dad to take care of our chickens but never had to yet..

Tip for the berries, as they start to turn freeze them! That's what we do :) even if it's a random berry or two, into a bag for smoothies! I do it with pineapple, melons, peaches, cherries... Alot of fruit. Also yogurt you can freeze in ice cub trays or another type of mold for smoothies. I just put it into a silicone mold and then pop them into a ziplock bag and you're good to go for smoothies as well!
