The black bookcase. I love how the back with the peel and stick paper turned out in combination with the black paint.

Loved the book case. Love your hair! I wore mine like that for years, that style is in right now. I am an old blue hair now, thank goodness blue hair is in. Lol

Loved them all but that pink and gold piece was without a doubt my favorite!! The hardware & legs & peel & stick all just went so good with that bright beautiful pink! I did a bright pink table for my daughters room & stenciled a gold mandala on top & that pink & gold combo will just never get old to me... also I love what you are doing with the pieces you make. I was (& still am) lucky enough to always have my mom and gram to help me out financially or emotionally & it breaks my heart to think that these kids usually have nobody in their corner but what you're doing is an amazing thing & you've probably put a smile on so many young adults faces not to mention taken some stress away by donating some of their first pieces of furniture to them...something they will always remember im sure!

Corrie, you did a wonderful job on the projects today. You went above and beyond covering the chairs so little hands are protected from the splinters(it brought tears to my eyes). My favorite? Um, all of them? Loved the gold and pink on the first one, the sophistication of the second one and the mix and match with wood on the third one. Wonderful job on all three! You always inspire me.💖

I have used the peel and.stick many times. When you need to round around edges you can heat it with a hair dryer and it will stick more and stay put.

Awww the sweet baby hands. 🥰 I have a baby girl and she has started “mixing cupcakes” because, I do cakes. 😂 I take so many photos and I usually make sure to get some of her little hands also.

The first one looks a lot better in the hot pink with the modern boxy shape. I like how the second one has extra depth with the peel and stick. The third one I like the rose print and how the wood was kept natural. They're all very nice but I think the bookshelf is my favorite. The light woodsy print against the black gave it the wow factor. It would make a nice display shelf.

Oh my they are all so great! The table and chairs looked so nice and the book shelf so elegant. The little stand turned out so cute, the gold brought it to life! You certainly have an eye for that stuff. Love love your work and purpose. ❤️

Loved the fabric on the barstools!! That whole set looked amazing when it was finished! I think the bookshelf was my fave though. That wallpaper was so awesome!!
I liked them all, but I think the bookcase grabbed me the most. I liked the wallpaper idea, it looked great, not cheap but quite classy..👍😊

just for the record the 2nd piece you re-modeled... it's not fake wood it is pine - inexpensive and soft with lots of knots- like the updating. I used some Waverly fabric to reupholster a long bench - it was beautiful!! Bless you for taking care of foster kids and helping them.

I am so glad to hear that you enjoy my videos. I try and make it to where people can enjoy them for pure entertainment and not necessarily if they are trying to learn to flip furniture

Thank you Karen. I am on the fence with painting vs wood. Some pieces I would never paint, but I ultimately weigh the decision based on "how can this piece be something someone will love and cherish for a long time?" and sometimes that answer is to paint it to match their home decor. A lot of times a great piece will end up in the dump just because it isn't the right color, and I try and help people realize that something can be made new to work for people with different taste. That is just how I decide.

I reupholstered some chairs recently and I just threw the foam in the washer and then let them air dry. Easy Peasy! These were dining chairs so the foam wasn’t huge.
Eow! I wasn't expecting the magenta table to look that good!
Helping those kids is a wonderful help to them. I wish all states had help available for foster kids, and extending foster care to past age 18 is a good way. Here, it’s 18 and out, regardless of whether they’ve graduated yet.

My favorites in order were 1,2,3. That fuschia with gold OMG that was soooooo cute. I never would have to use self stick paper like that on a bookcase. I probably would have gone floral (I have a thing with flowers) or maybe a toile. Love your videos watch them more than once💖👏👏

I use fabric tablecloths to recover barstools.. Loving the old curtain to fix the exposed wood underneath the barstool cushion.

Love everything you do. I had the worst reaction to microbian. Hard to breathe, coughing, messed with my eyes. Already had a window half opened. Had to open the door and another window and go outside till the place aired out. 5 and half bucks down the drain. It's nice that you think about the people getting the furniture. Makes your channel even better.
Thank you Donna. And yes, that stuff can be very intense to breathe. I only use it outside or in my sunroom with the doors open. I spray and run away hahaha. Let it do its job and not breathe it in.
I love the Waverly fabrics from WalMart - they are beautiful and durable. The table and stools are definitely my favorite. Thank you for what you are doing - my daughter was the Foster Care supervisor for our county and I told her what you are doing. She was super excited and was going to talk to people about trying to do something similar here.

Haha thank you Nolvia. I cut off all my dyed hair and am left with my natural hair color. It's so much darker than I ever expected it to be considering my genetics. Dad is dirty blonde and mom is light auburn. Although my mom's hair is now gray and a very dark gray in some spots

Unlike yourself, 😉 I really don't have great ease with peel and stick without some creases and air bubbles (pierced by a pin) since the seventies.
