I havent gone through the definitive edition yet so if this was changed my bad, but at least in normal painful, those are hallucinations, brad doesn't kill his party. For all we know they're relatively safe on the other side stuck without a boat probably wondering where TF he is.

Even when talking to Lisa at the end of his nightmare, he mentions that Marty beated him because he had put on makeup, and that Brad apparently enjoyed putting it on. The fact that he is gay is nothing more than a nuance of his character, which adds depth to his conflict with his father and how difficult it is for him to open up to others. @@dally1398 I was shocked when I realized they hadn't changed the salvation rangers "no race jokes please!" gag, and people were only complaining about the changed noises. (The new jungle noises were a lot better anyway) It's so goofy considering that some of the new stuff added was arguably some of the series darkest. Then again I'm not sure if people who were bothered enough to not even give this a shot would have appreciated most of it.
@@giygaswashere2808 salvation black's animal noise in the first salvation ranger cutscene was edited to be an elephant's trumpeting instead of a primate's screech. and also rick junior's lips were edited from pink to red. that's it. oh and also the playstation version changed all instances of liquor to instead be soda in joyful. but sony is honestly really finicky about what can and cannot be displayed on their platform. doki doki literature club got censored specifically on that platform to have black "glitch" blood instead of regular red blood during more violent scenes.
i may be wrong, but it appears that this cutscene is not possible to achieve in a run where you've sacrificed your party members(even if they weren't terry) for buddy's safety. either that or it cannot be triggered if you've removed terry from your party at any point
this interaction only happens here, being one of the few that i know are location specific. it's also random when it happens, i assume there's just a chance for a random campfire event to be available after doing something (i.e beating a boss, making progress in the game..)
I don’t know why, but the simple act of all the Lisa’s disappearing as he has his conversation with Terry made me genuinely start tearing up. So when he leaned into Terry’s hug and the last one dissolved into nothing I felt so much more than pain and joy, I felt genuine catharsis seeing a man that didn’t deserve anything that happened to him… Forget about the past, even for a moment. He didn’t need drugs. He doesn’t need to fight. He just needs genuine human connection, and to open up to someone he cares about. :(
Do you need to rest using a specific bonfire for these interactions to activate? Or will any bonfire work? Does anyone know how these work? So far I’ve gotten one with Nern, one with Beastborne, one with Tiger man and one with Queen Roger.

Kinda sucks that this area has so much dialogue, but you never sleep here because EWC is literally 2 steps away and you risk literally murdering your party member.
Moments like this make me feel even more sad that Terry was kidnapped 20 minutes into the game and I never got him back because then Percy got kidnapped and I never saw Terry again 😔
As much as I love these guys, this just felt non-canon to me. Not only that, but this particular scene really messes with the ending, when Brad says "he's never been held before" Meh, I'll stick with the original version. Also, Brad opening up like that to Terry seems out of character for me :/
This whole thing feels off to me, I saw the secret boss fight that took 2 hours and it just looks like an edgy mod, I’d rather just wait until it’s all compiled which is super sad because I was really looking forward to playing but I haven’t liked anything I’ve seen so far.
Yeah, I felt something was off. Like they try rewrite and "soy up" my man Brad. He wouldn't doubt himself about Buddy. Brad always gave me Bud Spencer aura with his gruffness and silent persona.
Well to be fair Brad DIDN'T want to be held by Terry, but by Buddy. Granted, yeah, it can come off as fanservice so to speak. The idea of fighting Marty for two hours is baffling though

Such an overreaction. It’s ironic that the people waving the “free speech” flag are boycotting because Lisa is a fucking ballsy game that deals with challenging themes other games don’t touch. The changes made don’t even have a significant effect on the experience imo
@@dally1398 I was shocked when I realized they hadn't changed the salvation rangers "no race jokes please!" gag, and people were only complaining about the changed noises. (The new jungle noises were a lot better anyway)
It's so goofy considering that some of the new stuff added was arguably some of the series darkest.
Then again I'm not sure if people who were bothered enough to not even give this a shot would have appreciated most of it.

@@giygaswashere2808 salvation black's animal noise in the first salvation ranger cutscene was edited to be an elephant's trumpeting instead of a primate's screech. and also rick junior's lips were edited from pink to red. that's it.
oh and also the playstation version changed all instances of liquor to instead be soda in joyful. but sony is honestly really finicky about what can and cannot be displayed on their platform. doki doki literature club got censored specifically on that platform to have black "glitch" blood instead of regular red blood during more violent scenes.

i may be wrong, but it appears that this cutscene is not possible to achieve in a run where you've sacrificed your party members(even if they weren't terry) for buddy's safety. either that or it cannot be triggered if you've removed terry from your party at any point
nevermind, it did appear after i beat the bloodmoon location. i am still unsure what the trigger is, maybe it's after a certain level terry reaches?

this interaction only happens here, being one of the few that i know are location specific.
it's also random when it happens, i assume there's just a chance for a random campfire event to be available after doing something (i.e beating a boss, making progress in the game..)

i would wholeheartedly object but the more I looked into it the more true this statement became
I don’t know why, but the simple act of all the Lisa’s disappearing as he has his conversation with Terry made me genuinely start tearing up. So when he leaned into Terry’s hug and the last one dissolved into nothing I felt so much more than pain and joy, I felt genuine catharsis seeing a man that didn’t deserve anything that happened to him… Forget about the past, even for a moment. He didn’t need drugs. He doesn’t need to fight. He just needs genuine human connection, and to open up to someone he cares about. :(
Do you need to rest using a specific bonfire for these interactions to activate? Or will any bonfire work? Does anyone know how these work? So far I’ve gotten one with Nern, one with Beastborne, one with Tiger man and one with Queen Roger.
Some of them do need specfic bonfires, i'm still finding them myself so i don't know each one

This whole thing feels off to me, I saw the secret boss fight that took 2 hours and it just looks like an edgy mod, I’d rather just wait until it’s all compiled which is super sad because I was really looking forward to playing but I haven’t liked anything I’ve seen so far.
Yeah, I felt something was off. Like they try rewrite and "soy up" my man Brad. He wouldn't doubt himself about Buddy. Brad always gave me Bud Spencer aura with his gruffness and silent persona.
Well to be fair Brad DIDN'T want to be held by Terry, but by Buddy. Granted, yeah, it can come off as fanservice so to speak.
The idea of fighting Marty for two hours is baffling though

no? lol you just seen two men talking and one opening himself to trust and you say a women write this? like, we seen the same video? men can be and are sentimental and emotional, just like women. and its not unusual in lisa's games, the creator, who is a dude, put this bittersweet moments sometimes in the game. it just add more complexity to theor characters.
