I love how the common conception about why Rando is crying is because of his connection to Brad and not the fact that he just got run into by a speeding motorcycle carrying a 250+lbs man on it
@@bossdoor Hello! I am Beltboy, protagonist of the LISA fangame LISA: The Hopeful. Unfortunately Taco Salad is running out of funding for the sequel LISA: The Hopeless! We are requesting that you give us your credit card details (that includes the number on the back) so that our project may continue on. Best regards!
The choices in LISA are more impactful than most games. They make you think like Brad. Most games constantly try to create these contrived "Good or evil" choice systems that effect the ending, Lisa's choices are hardly about what is good or evil, but about what tools will be more useful to you in the end.
They actually changed the sound effect for Salvation Black in the new Lisa update. I think it's an elephant or something? ........I wonder why they'd change it.
@@Nutty_Menendez Or just because the game is like 10 years old and jokes like that do NOT fly in today's culture. I can see why for the remake Dingaling felt the need to change that scene up. Glad he kept Black saying "No race jokes please!", that was still funny.
This game is one that would make an amazing HBO show if done right. I have watched all these games streamed and video stories and know every character back story and connection to Brad it’s so well done
this isn't what i expected to see, thought this was going to be a roast of some lisa the joyful scene(first time seeing one of your videos, sorry), but i wasn't disappointed! this is really well put together, and i really like the way you edit! especially the scene where brad mutilates rick, that one is just beautifully disturbing even though i have already played this game to the point of memorizing half of the dialogue, i will definitely check out your next videos about it if you happen to make those, you deserve support!
I watched this video approx. 4-5 months back, and it was my first time hearing of lisa. I stopped around 1/4 thru becaude it looked like a game worth experiencing for myself. Added it to my steam wishlist immediately after, and got stoked when it became free on epic. So I snagged it immediately, and grinded it for 5.5hrs straight today amidst my busy schedule. I just reavhed part 3 and ive got to say im loving it. So thanks.
People tend to link Brad's need to protect Buddy with what happend with Lisa, but that's just an uncompleat analisis devoided of the complexity of fatherhood. It tend to be said that Brad want to protect Buddy because he doesn't want her to go throught what Lisa went through, and in a world devoid of women, that will be her most likely end scenario. But this is not only fueled because of Lisa. It could've been in the beginning, but the moment Brad started seeing Buddy as his daughter, guilt would no longer be the only drive for him to get her back, but also that drive that has made men into killing machines, the need to protect ones family. Brad died a good man, trying to help his daughter, even in his own damaged way. Buddy can feel whatever she want about him, she can project all that has gone wrong in her life on him all she wants, but we all know why Brad did it, and it was out of something she wont get from anyone else, unconditional love. Brad was driven to do horrible things, he's not a good person. He did so much wrong to so many people, but i imagine we all would do the same for our daughters if push comes to shove. Would **I** kill to make sure my daughter is save and sound? Yes. Yes i would.
@@Ryu1ify Of course, he asociates the word "Dad" with the person that abused and made his sister kill herself. That's a trauma response from an abused individual.
Man, i must thank you for making these analysis videos on LISA, it's always great to see people discuss these amazing series. Oh, and thank you for taking the time to give Rick the spotlight as well, i haven't seen many give emphasis in that part of the game. I'm p sure my icon shows how much i appreciate that LMAO
I always thought Sticky was swinging his pickaxe at the far wall to slowly widen out the room, a 3D job from a 2D perspective so to speak. Hopefully that's a sensible enough answer to maybe silence a who knows how long lasting monkey on your back
I'm enjoying this video, but one observation --- I'm pretty sure Brad wasn't only complacent in Lisa's abuse. There's atleast one scene somewhere in the series that shows Brad started his Martial Arts journey *by* beating up Lisa together with Marty. It wasn't particularly willing, but he still laid hands on her, and he did it often, and arguably owes his martial skill to that experience. It's an especially grim, especially damning part of the story that I don't think should be overlooked.
How do you feel about the "relationship" between buddy and sticky? I view it as genuine, a little advantageous/unsettling, but also about as good as buddy could realistically get in this world.
I hate when youtubers get someone else art and never credits them, shows how much effort dude puts in his video (minimum) which is just basically telling the game story and barely explaining why it's the worst scene in the game. I don't support gatekeeping but i hate how LISA is getting more know to this type of people, smh.
Have tried reverse image searching and can’t find the artist. I feel I put a lot of effort into the video though. Sorry if it didn’t meet your expectations.
