- In this video, I tell you about a Keurig K Express that is not brewing coffee. If your coffee machine is turning on but not brewing your favourite cup of coffee, then this video is for you. I go over a few of the most basic solutions that will hopefully allow you to get your Keurig coffee machine working again so you can get back to drinking your favourite cup of coffee before you know it.

For those who have trouble with the non blinking light (lift the top where the k cup goes and there should be a black little circle button. Gently remove it and place it back in and it should begin to blink) hope this works😊
Literally just had this exact same issue and found the resolution on reddit. Just pressed it with a chop stick and it popped up.

FIXED DO THIS
I had this problem because there was air in the line so the pump couldn't prime. I solved my issue by filling the reservoir about 1/4 full and placing it back on the machine. Then I basically lifted the reservoir up and down rapidly and saw little air bubbles coming up from the place where the water intake is in the bottom. I did this until the air bubbles stopped appearing. It creates some sort of vacuum inside the machine I think and gets the air out of the line so the pump can prime. Anyway, I then filled up the reservoir with water and turned the machine on. It finally sucked water into the internal tank much to my relief. I've read other people have had similar issues after having put their machine in storage while moving. No one tells you how they fix it though. Just thought I would share my fix-it to try in case it can help someone else. Best of luck!

This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
Guys hold down the 10 and 6 oz and same time it’ll start blinking but make sure the machine is off

So, I held down the 10 and 6 and descale. How do I take it off descale?
I unplugged it for a minute, plugged it back in. The lights still won't flash. The lights come on, but they just stay on. The only way I can successfully brew a cup of coffee is by holding the 10 and 6 down at the same time. Then, the 8 flashes and I can push that. But it says it's descaling. 😂

If your lights are on solid and not blinking try this. When you open the lid for the k-Cup there is a little rubber button on the right side towards the back. Fiddle around with it a little as it needs to pop up to activate the brewer. I did this a couple of times and now the machine works great.
i just Bought mine Yesterday and i'm having the same problem the 3 lights are on e but they wont blink or brew anything

I get a short lunch break I just want a cup of coffee this is taking too long I could have gone to the coffee shop and back by now
Mine is brand new out the box. I've tried everything you said and it will not brew a cup of coffee. All the lights light up, cleaned the tank and have it 3/4 way full. K cup in place correctly, lid is down flush. Nothing happens. I pushed the 6,8,10 oz buttons and nothing worked.

Got one today and had the same problem, fixed it though.
While plugged in, press 10z and 6oz at the same time. Descaling will begin. Make sure water is filled to the max and keep brewing 8oz until the descaling light is off. This will mean you might go through two whole rounds of the water reservoir- so 8 cups of 8oz until mine turned off.
After, slowly lift the handle at the top and wait for your lights to turn on and to blink- after, insert your kcup and boom

If you call keurig and let them know you’re having this issue they’ll send you a new one if your machine is still in warranty.
ugh... i give up. I descaled first.. it worked great. Next day it wouldn't pump water. I tried all your suggestions, but didn't help.

Mine turns on, all the buttons flash but when I select any of the cup functions it shuts off, never brews. And yes there’s a k-cup in it, I cleaned the needles, and there’s enough water. Any ideas?
This is exactly what I'm experiencing and I've cleaned it and dumped water and descaled. I've done just about every hack.

Not helpful. Mine is literally stops working. Power won’t turn on.

Not helpful to my problem. Your video is about very simple problems with your solutions repeated 3 or 4 times. I completed descaling and all lights are off. Now when I touch the power button, the 6, 8, and 10 oz buttons all flash 3 times and the machine powers off. I can press the 6 and 8 oz and do he descaling all over again, but the same power up problem exists. A solution t this would be very

What I noticed was mine wouldn’t work if I used the cold water from the refrigerator.. I have to use room temp water

If you've tried all the previous steps and suspect there may be an issue with the water reservoir, you can try filling it halfway, placing it on the machine, and then gently lifting it up and down for about 39 seconds to release any trapped air bubbles.
My machine ( second one) after receiving a new one.
Water won't heat up and macine dispenses for a few seconds then turns off... I've tried all your suggestions and nothing happened i did the descaling as ive done once before months ago but now machine turns off before i can even get to that part...any suggestions from anyone will help
What I found that works is trying to remove all the water from both the tank and the little spot under the tank and the machine did that after washing and rinsing out the tank shoved the corner of a bar towel in to get the water out just so the right amount of water is fed into the machine for the right size of coffee try it and see if you want

I've had a few and I always fix it the same way. Try this and see if it works. Unplug it, take out your water reservoir. You probably don't have to but I always remove the water as well. Then press the little rubber piece where the water enters the machine until all of it comes out, and dry it with a towel. Replace the reservoir, add the water and plug the power back in. See if this works when you brew; if not do this 1-2 more times. I've done this and it always works, but you could have a different issue.

Bought one brand new when you put the cup in and close the lid the three lights for selecting the ounces won’t flash they just stay lit up this product is junk Took it back. Got a refund.

Been reading the comments on this model…it appears everyone calls these models absolute trash…and I would have to agree. I haven’t been able to make it work one time.
One random day I saw the lights flashing as if I turned it on and wanted coffee in that instance (I had just got home from work) it was so random….ever since then it never works when I want it to. And besides…if I have to finagle this machine every time I want a cup of coffee like the way this video is showing, then that just shows me what an absolute pos product this is. Going to the store for a refund. So disappointed, other Keurigs I’ve used in past years in a work setting or at friends houses always work flawlessly. I don’t understand what’s the issue with this model.
