Hey Adam!! I know that its 2019 but, have you seen this? Building The Terminator T-800 Endoskeleton Documentary ruclips.net/video/Am3ZuMiCe7A/видео.html
You can feel Adam's natural passion and innate enthusiasm for his craft come across in the segment, which is what we all should be striving for in life to give us purpose and meaning. Whenever you hear Adam talk about something, it always easily flows and gets the viewer involved as if they were in the same room.
Robert Sivonjic I think Jamie was just more of a down to business "Let's get shit done" kind of guy. Adam wanted to take opportunities to have a bit of fun. It's no wonder discovery teamed them up for a show. They're both equally as awesome to me, but I enjoy watching Adam more due to his personality and niche passions that ring with my own.
+Mathias with this type of robot usa and u.k. can won half of the globe cuz this robot is much faster than human that means this can kill 100 human army .
I really want to thank Adam for teaching us so much in these videos. I used a lot of his tips and tricks for a costume I made this week for a Game of Thrones costume contest that George RR Martin hosted in Santa Fe today and I was one of the winners! Thank you so much for your tips on weathering on this vid and your weathering vid and that aluminum tape trick for wooden swords! It won me tickets to the Santa Fe premiere of Game of Thrones! Thanks Adam, keep on teaching and we'll keep on learning!
+Jacob Melanson he might have a birth defect in which his terminator didn't develop, it could happen but very unlikely , it's like 0.003% It could happen
Butter Finger Never heard of a successful birth without the terminator... Usually die within the first few months from lack of nurture and love, mothers generally abandon the young without them.
There is nothing to this day that I have ever witnessed that has stuck with me and continued to scare the absolute shit out of me like a bare metal T-800.
"It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead." I can see why that would be something to fear.
I saw Alien before I saw Terminator and I saw Terminator 2 before I saw T1 so I always just looked at Terminators as badasses and looked at Xenomorphs as the primary threat.
Well, the ones with guns and base usually are around $10.000. However that was around 2010 when I last checked. They are quite hard to find as far as I know.
Adam is incredibly gracious and patient with all the interrupting and interjecting of this host. I mean no disrespect, but seriously, the viewers aren't here for YOU. They are here for Adam. Your job is to host the show, facilitate the flow a bit, and encourage the best answers out of Adam so you get good footage for the show. Right? Not to attempt to complete half his sentences and interrupt him with new questions without having given him ample time to answer the previous ones. Your over-zealous approach borders on pushiness. It's incredibly annoying, and it's in every video. I don't know how Adam maintains such patience with it. What a great idea you've had with Tested - just let it shine for what it is, instead of forcing it so much!
The interruptions were bugging me too. I was in a uni class where one of the other students kept speaking up and inserting his own insights whilst the lecturer was talking. It took all of my willpower to not gag him with his own paperwork. Ffs let the expert talk, please.
Can you please make a video of Adam painting his T-800 while talking to it? Like at the barber shop, you know. Tellin some stories. That would be hillarious!
160moebius2 They are meters long and bolted to the ground. They also require heavy cooling and they can't run off a battery so not really portable yet. They need a base, grid power and cooling tanks and are too big.
I keep imagining the eyes of the T-800 lightning up, the head turning to look at Adam, and politely asking, "Hey, could you stop slapping me on the head? Thanks."
You now what'd be even cooler than the beer can? Having him holding a really fancy, old fashioned teacup and saucer, with his little finger crooked out! :-D
Every time I see an Adam video like this, I'm reminded of how I didn't get into the SFX business like I planned back in the 90's. And I feel the pain of that choice every day.
so I've watched the first two terminator movies, and i will certainly say that so far, out of the whole series, judgement day is the best. i LOVED the t-1000. amazing plot, sinister villain, it has it all.
I loved the last words in that video. Savage/Terminator: Goodbye Tested: I think it's, "I'll be back". Savage/Terminator: I will be right... (Then in a somewhat dejected sounding rushed voice) I'll be back. 😆 EXCELLENT EPISODE! I always love a peek into Adam's cave.
How awesome would that be if he replaced the pistons with linear actuators and connected them to a micro controller and battery in its head so it could actually move independently.
Adam, more than you shall EVER know, you have in your possession, one of my Coveted Objects with that T-800 endoskeleton. What is a Coveted Object, you ask? Well, quite simply it is an object that I know I will never own, never get to actually see in person, and if given a realistic chance to have one--I would not be able to scrounge up enough money, time, or energy to see it become my own. I am super Jelly.
Not with THAT attitude, 6 or so grand is like a car. People who smoke cigarettes spend that much in a year or so, and they're pretty much just slowly killing themselves.
Just watched a vid where a guy made one from 100% metal and built it himself which took nearly 4 and a half years !! It's full size and has its own stand where it can stand or crouch in several positions .
Use an Arduino to follow you? If you are planning on use image processing, it's quite impossible with a microcontroller. You are gonna need a ARM or microprocessor or something like that, which is much powerfully. Arduino would be great only to control the servo motor in the head. But, this can be done with RC (servos and a radio controller) as well.
Tested I thought about that too, but you guys need several of this sensors than, and they will be visible, which would look great. A camera in the eyeball of the exterminator would be much cool!
Xano Trevisan Kothe It all boils down to how many pixels it has to process and how fast, there's a kickstarter project that does it with an ARM and does I think 20 frames per second at 340x200 but if you settled on 1-2 frames per second and 120x80 pixels an Arduino should manage it. I don't expect you would need more than 1-2 frames per second to perform object following.
This is so so so so so so interesting to me and just so nostalgic, cool & it makes me remember how during the 90's I had secretly popped "T2 Judgement Day VHS" into the player as a kid when my Mom and Sister were gone from home shopping & I agree with Adam that it terrified me because of a few scenes but the nuke playground scene in particular freaked me out. Love T2 it is by far the best Terminator film.
There is always "a place in LA that" does something that you need. You guys are lucky living in California except for that little necessity called water. Maybe someday you will want to trade spots with me here in VT.
Lone Wolf yes but in both cases it requires greater technology and knowledge of technology which we lack, And your vinyl carbonate blade is not a light sabre just because it glows (if it does), if its not made of the same materials and if it doesnt work the same way a real lightsaber works then its not a lightsaber its just a flasy sword.

I just saw making of the one and only metal, real scale and movable terminator in the world, so Adam's terminator now looks like a Bugatti Veyron replica.
Usually I put a video in my favourites list because I want to find it quickly when I'm talking about it. This one is in there because I just find it awesome. I want one!!
Tested Adam, he needs orange Cheetos debris on his fingers and teeth with an empty bag nearby. Also, if he is supposed to be the cool terminator I vote to name him Ice T-800. :)
I am incredibly jealous of this. Mind you, as a robotics engineer, rather than assembling the plastic kit pieces I would probably have 3D scanned them to make a fully articulated CAD model, then worked out how to integrate working pistons and motors, then CNC'd the parts from aircraft aluminium, (or if I had the money, AZ31B Magnesium alloy, for weight reduction).
in unlogical. if t800 infiltration unit has one teeth steel then it could be suspicious to other humans and dont be as good infiltration unit as with all teeths natural. there is no mandela effect, there is problem with your old memory which got transmutated through time
I think the teeth are supposed to be human teeth implanted in it's metallic jaws, Like the fact that it's supposed to have human skin that was grown for the cyborgs.
All 800s were meant to have skin but as the Resistance accelerated thier attacks, Skynet was forced to skip out for many units & put em on the frontlines.
bigfilsing In the first Terminator, Arnold was still body building, so if you look at scenes from the first one you can see how his chest is huge compared to his head, and the scale makes more sense
+Justin Corfield Of course. It would be silly to deny it. I'm the guy that thinks about how to exploit the fact everyone uses their phones as a credit card now-- mostly for curiosity. I make too much off the stock market to risk jail over the tiny amounts of money people have in their checking accounts.
FUN FACT: Arnold wanted to say, “I WILL BE BACK” he didn’t wanna say “ILL BE BACK” because, he thought it sounded “WEAK”. The director said “I don’t tell you how to write, just read the G•• D•••• script”!!!!!
Watch Adam paint and add weathering effects to his T-800 in this video: www.tested.com/premium/460319-premium-weathering-t-800-endoskeleton/
Hey Adam!! I know that its 2019 but, have you seen this? Building The Terminator T-800 Endoskeleton Documentary ruclips.net/video/Am3ZuMiCe7A/видео.html
I stills love this video! It actually inspired me to build a T-800 arm.
@@walterkrt8299 this build is amazing, and fully metal, not a resin build,
There's a company that makes them now from real metal. It weighs 160kg. Sorry Adam... I love your work but this sucks
Adam Savage’s Tested it would be cool if you could add a smart device like alexa or Google that reacts to t-800
You can feel Adam's natural passion and innate enthusiasm for his craft come across in the segment, which is what we all should be striving for in life to give us purpose and meaning. Whenever you hear Adam talk about something, it always easily flows and gets the viewer involved as if they were in the same room.
Oh guys this is no longer cgi I just went and made a fully functioning animatronic that walks
I just achieved that myself
His name is Walter
Adam is so smart.
***** Not to throw Adam under the bus but, Jamie always seemed like the smartest of the two to me lol
mardukalpha Adam was the more goofy type of guy and i guess Jamie was a bit shy in front of the camera, just guessing.
Dat profile pic
Fragacide I've seen Jamie goof around plenty of times on Mythbusters, and its even funnier than Adam because Jamie is usually serious.
When I was a kid (4-5 y.o.) my brother had a poster of Terminator 1 in his room. When it was dark I was actually afraid to go in there...
i know they scare me
i dont know why but t-800 really scares me
not meh cuz i know its not real.
Falogen Productions because it's a robot killer who actually looks more like a human skeleton...?
Yah so its fake why be afraid.
Of course Adamn owns a freaking Terminator. At this point I am not even surprised anymore :D
Mathias Amen brother.
I think he worked on Terminator 3, I'm not 100% sure though
+Mathias with this type of robot usa and u.k. can won half of the globe cuz this robot is much faster than human that means this can kill 100 human army .
I hear he also owns a Dreamcast2.
im not liking it. going to keep 666 likes

Just like Arnold 😎
Duhh it's an infiltration unit
This guy's attention to detail is admirable. This is a true labor of love.

"I'm never coming in again if you do that" - Adam: "that'll be so awesome!"
"Everybody has a terminator standing with a riffle"...
And here I am, without a terminator. :'(
you don't have a terminator ?
:(
But they're standard issue...
Did you lose yours? They're given out at birth, maybe your parents forgot to grab it.

Wooden Tool Man I was betting at least ten grand for a full-scale T-800
A very beautiful work of art. He's right to be as proud as I'm sure he is.
I was so fascinated with the t800 as a kid. So cool.
i love these videos with adam. i could listen to him talk about movie props all day long.
Why is Arnie just sitting there in this video while these two touches him?
he is just biding his time
*soon*
His CPU was removed.
StickCrafted
Or his hydrogen power cells
Only the T850 from T3 had them since that only T850 was advanced.
Alex D. Young Connor tought that emotion to him in the second movie? Must have missed that one. ;)
It's been so long since I've done any kind of model building. Model building's fun, but weathering was always one of THE most fun parts for me.
Adam is incredibly gracious and patient with all the interrupting and interjecting of this host. I mean no disrespect, but seriously, the viewers aren't here for YOU. They are here for Adam. I was in a uni class where one of the other students kept speaking up and inserting his own insights whilst the lecturer was talking.
It took all of my willpower to not gag him with his own paperwork.
Ffs let the expert talk, please.
Will Smith and Adam have known each other for a while and they are good friends.
I didn't notice any of this and the whole video seems just fine. Which mean, really fun and interesting to watch. Two thumbs up.
Can you please make a video of Adam painting his T-800 while talking to it? Like at the barber shop, you know. Tellin some stories. That would be hillarious!
John Kapri ...it would be the Terminator telling the Stories about How Doomed the Human Race Is and that being a Barber is a Futile Job.
Adam, if you're reading this please do not put in an actual AI chip!
ya he needs an AGI: Artificial General Intelligence
160moebius2 If he does that, we're fucked. Luckily the biggest AI possible today is through a quantum computer. Luckily those are not portable yet.
PunakiviAddikti define portable we could have a gaint robot lol
160moebius2 They are meters long and bolted to the ground. They also require heavy cooling and they can't run off a battery so not really portable yet. They need a base, grid power and cooling tanks and are too big.
lol once you build a 580 ton supercomputer with AI I'm pretty sure it will figure out how to make portable unit on its own fairly quickly.
I read that an original T-800 model from the second movie sold for $488,000.
I keep imagining the eyes of the T-800 lightning up, the head turning to look at Adam, and politely asking, "Hey, could you stop slapping me on the head? Thanks."
😂
The best part of RUclips is you can sit here for hours, waiting for 2015 watching anything and everything BTW Happy New Year!
Awesome job on the T800. The first thing he should add after the glowing red eyes is voice response using random Terminator sound bytes
At 6:07 There is the pod gun from The 5th Element on the table primed ready for paint. That gun blew my mind when I first saw the movie
Rocket launcher, net launcher, flamethrower, and da all new ice cube system lol
You now what'd be even cooler than the beer can? Having him holding a really fancy, old fashioned teacup and saucer, with his little finger crooked out! :-D
YES!
It needs a flesh suit. Buffalo Bill style.
He needs to sit on something like a futuristic Skynet Iron Throne.
Or a chair-o-charred bones.
Re:vant Hells yeah, a chair made of human skulls should be in order. Mr. Savage, you getting all this??
Every time I see an Adam video like this, I'm reminded of how I didn't get into the SFX business like I planned back in the 90's. And I feel the pain of that choice every day.

There is a small but elite group of people on Earth that own their own endoskeleton. Adam is one of them.
You always have all the neat stuff Adam thanks for sharing bro👍🏻
6:14 The ZF1 gun for The Fifth Element :D
How awesome would that be if he replaced the pistons with linear actuators and connected them to a micro controller and battery in its head so it could actually move independently.
That's cool how Adam got the guy who worked on the OG T-800 to work on this. Way to be authentic. Color me impressed, or metallic.
I've known you've wanted one of these for years. This is SO awesome.
This is an example of why us nerds are awesome.

The mechanical design on they t-8000 is so cool! So many hydraulic piston actuators!

Buster will finally have his revenge!
Adam has so much cool shit.
The head seems too small.
Maybe because his neck seems too long.
It is a skull without the skin the head will of course look small
The skin will make it look bigger. Speaking of skin, i wished they actually did it with their own type of flesh.
Jeremiah Carr
The whole rest of it doesn't have skin either, so the proportion should be uneffected.
yea true
Adam really good job on the T-800! Also the KS for the tip about the copper paint!
Would love to have one of these :-) HUGE Terminator fan!!
