I followed most of your videos and completed all the tenses.. It was a grear hepl for me to do the exercises. I am proud of you for being so generous to do something like this.
I wouldn't use 'I had been writing when he came in' unless I wanted to say for how long: 'I had been writing for several hours when he came in.' If you just want to express that the action of him coming in took place during the action of you writing, then keep it to the Past Continuous: 'I was writing when he came in.'
That was the best tenses lesson I've ever got, thank You so much!!!! For the first time I understood how it really works. I did only the "All teneses-lesson" and got 20/25. You are the best! Thank you again!
You can use 'since' with both PP and PPC, but with two different ideas: 1. One action that started in the past and continues or has just stopped: PPC: I have been waiting here since 9:00. 2. Several actions that have already been completed: PP: I have written ten e-mails since 9:00.
Yes, you can use this tense, but then ideally, you should also include a point in time and the length of time: If the bus doesn't come BY 10, I'll have been waiting for the bus FOR AN HOUR for no reason.
[20/25] 6-(I thought, it will be present perfect continues), 8-(I used future simple negative "I will not"), 12-(my answer: ...I have decided to...), 19-(I used present perfect continues...), 24-(I used: ... is going to visit...). Thank you very much, Minoo~! This exercise was awesome~!
I've watched all your tenses videos, the revision and I've just done all the exercises. I don't even know how to thank you for your excellent work. You're AMAZING!
Anglo-Link is for me the best youtube series about English grammar. I've made two mistakes. I've chosen two times the future perfect continuous tense instead of the future perfect tense although there was no information in the sentence for how long the action was going on.

The action of 'visiting' continued until the time that she had to return. Therefore: She had been visiting London for a few days ....'. If the action was complete, you could use Perfect Simple: She had visited the British Museum ...'.
I have been through all English video lessons on RUclips but yours is incredible. You are so amazing teacher . I have watched all your videos honestly they were all beyond words . Well done and keep it up .
Oh my God! I've been doing this quiz for a few days now and today i have scored worse than ever! My long term plan is to teach english to foreigners, i hope i understand all my tenses eventually! lol
Yes, it is a variation of the first conditional when you want to insist on the completion of the 'consequence' action. It is rare, and therefore not taught in the context of conditional sentences.
Thank you for the exercises I confused with the Future Perfect and the Future Perfect Continuous, but I´m going to practice a lot for heal this confusion. however The rest of the lessons I´m ok, I will surf on your website and I´ll be doing the exercises about this tenses. Hi teacher Anglo! would like to ask you a question. Regarding the usage of present continuous with a future time marker can we say at the last example 25 Yes, " she is visiting London next year "
Until I had done the exercises, I was still struggling with the tenses. I'm finally grasping them, and it feels great, almost unreal. I have been speaking English my whole life and I am only now formally learning the tenses. I feel so much more competent in my native language. Thank you for posting all of this on youtube. It appears you have put in a great deal of work to help people. I look forward to gaining proficiency with the rest of grammar after I've learned the tenses; your material I will be sure to return to as I continue with this.

thank you for these. i am very appreciative.I give compliments on that vast majority of this. however, I am pointing out for anyone out there who was confused about question 12 (and one other I forgot which) -- this question lacks context and isn't very clear about which tense you should use. in fact I would have just said "no, I decided to take the bus" for two reasons -- 1) in america, we don't use the present perfect as much and in this context it's not necessary (though it's possible) and 2) the previous sentence seems to indicate another usage of the past tense. it could be clearer by context which tense to use. again, this critique is not a bash against the author who painstakingly put this video together and has undoubtedly helped many people (including my student!) with their tenses. Just wanted to note that for any time I use this video in the future and for anyone else who might be a bit lost with that question. xx
Thank you, Cavin! Indeed, American usage of the Present Perfect tense is different. I just didn't want to mention it in this lesson as it could have been more confusing than helpful.
Very good. Clear, pleasant to listen to voice and easy to use system which worked well for me. I learned to differentiate between tenses I had not understood before doing the revision exercise and got quite a lot right. Thank you.

Mam,I have a doubt
Grammatically, only shall is used in the future forms of I and We. But at 2:51 the auxiliary used is will.
'shall' is an alternative to 'will' for 'I' and 'we'. 'will' is correct too, and also more common than 'shall'.
Thankyou Mam😊
