4:45 15-false,it should be they had been running for 2 hours before they stopped for 17-we can also say she had finished her lunch by the time i arrived
The following corrections and observations are offered: Question 1: "A" or "C" is correct. Question 6: "B" or "C" is correct. Question 13: "A" or "D" is correct. Question 16" "A" or "D" is correct. Question 17: "B" or "D" is correct. Question 20: "C" or "D" is correct. Question 21: "B" or "D" is correct. Question 22: "A" or "C" is correct. Question 24: "B" or "C" is correct. Question 27: "B" or "D" is correct. Many of these multiple answers are justified by the fact that the question is not at all specific as to whether you're intending past or present tense.
1.A can't be C.Because every morning shows habitual actions/repeated therefore you must take simple present for it. 6.the word already, just etc is going with present perfect 13.to be D.there must reference of specific time, but there is no specific time. etc etc etc etc.Even if there is two alternative answer you must take one which gives more sense. thanks for understanding me..!!
@@benkaknNo, it depends on the context. “Did they play football every Sunday?” is a perfectly valid answer too. (Asking about something they used to do or had done in the past.) Many of these have 2 acceptable answers, as the commenter said. There are poorly-worded examples in many instances.
Sir! I think the question 15 should be C(have been running) because (for tow hours) is expressing about how long they had been running before they stopped.
No the word "stopped "is past right? So u have to use past . So were running is the past . If there is" had been running " then it will be the right option
The 6th question could have two answers: Q: I _____ my homework already. A) did -> I did my homework already. (past simple) B) have done -> I have done my homework already. (present perfect) Even "C" or (did) could work in specific context like this "I do my homework already." if you literally analyze it or rephrase it to this "I already do my homework." because remember, "already" is an ADVERB which are pretty flexible. (SYNTACTICALLY, THIS IS CORRECT, BUT SEMANTICALLY DEPENDS)

For me the correct answer among them is "had run " . But the best answer is "had been running". Unfortunately it doesn't have that answer. Two actions happened in the past. One of them, the action of running, happened before they stopped. İt is like " İ gave her flowers which İ had bought"
if there come since or for then we use been +verb (1st form + ing) you should check q#32 i have confusion if it is right then please explain me thank you
hey >>> actually i have to ask a question ,,,,in the question no.15 : they ___ for two hours before they stopped ... according to me it should be had run . I read somewhere if before is coming in a sentence then the one sentence is pastperfect and the last part is indifinte past can you please clear my doubt !!!

Exactly what i think
@@maninblack9271 they "had run" for 2 hours, goes well as well. And since "had run" was one of the options, it should have been the right answer.
I totally agree with you !!!❤
Yes, i have noticed the same answer like you ❤
Yes ! I totally agree with you ❤

But 24th is only C, Exactly u got the other i was about to say same

I absolutely agree. The intention is not apparent, thus two answers could be correct. I was going to make the same observation.
For Question 1 : The present simple is to be used for regular or habitual activities. Therefore only A is correct
16. Tne answer should be worked as the sentence is the form sub + v2 + o that is simple past and worked is the past participle of work
The answer to question no. 17 should be D (had finished).
Right
Yes, no.17 should be D (had finished)
Yes
Yes
Yeah
In qn20. Option c and d both are correct if qn tells about fact ans is -bought or qn emphasis the present ans is -have bought

Thanks you very much l really appreciate thanks you
The ans of mcq no 32 is c ( have been knowing ) as this tenseis in present perfect continuous
Yes
Know is a non- continuous verb that's why
Sir! I think the question 15 should be C(have been running) because (for tow hours) is expressing about how long they had been running before they stopped.
True brother ❤
There is nothing a correct answer in the choices because the correct is " had been running."
2 options are right in this question 1. Were running and another 2.had been running option 2 not abalivle so 1 is. Currect
No the word "stopped "is past right? So u have to use past . So were running is the past . If there is" had been running " then it will be the right option
Agreed

15. Had been running or Had run - all our English teachers say that
You are right .Something strange in this quiz
Bro the sentence is past perfect continuous so you have to use "were running". Have been running is present
For me the correct answer among them is "had run " . But the best answer is "had been running". Unfortunately it doesn't have that answer. Two actions happened in the past. One of them, the action of running, happened before they stopped. İt is like " İ gave her flowers which İ had bought"
