I actually almost cried at the end of revelations because I knew we were never going to see Ezio again. He is the best character in the Assassin's creed franchise.
My favorite part of ACII is when Ezio says a building needs a jump that's too high so ge meets some thieves who are like "have tried just jumping higher?" then he just jumps higer
@@mflongswimbb I am right there With you I got it for Christmas for my switch and dear God I hate the fact that we lose that Ability Eventually it's like dear God why I get that hes an old man So we can't really do it but at least he gets the hook blade that's a slight I guess I want to say Consolation
I would say Arthur Morgan's story is the best, but for different reasons perhaps. I would say his is the best, because his is the most human, he's has done things that he regretted, but in the end proved a fundamental truth about life, and that is: Regardless of our background, upbringing, and our life experiences; whether they were good or bad, that who we are is a matter of our choices. Our choices are what make us who and what we are, and we can choose to do what's right.
Fun Fact that some may already know but Altair and Ezio are not related Altair is Desmond's ancestor from his mother's side Ezio and the Kenways are Desmond's Dad's side
Replaying the ezio collection to finally 100% them... wanted a lore vid to listen to in the background and I find out that this absolutely amazing human being made this beautiful and relaxing compilation only 3 months ago. Perfect. Thank you so much. ❤
Ezio’s story in this franchise is so far my favorite. I found these games when his story began, and played each as they came out. This video gave me all the feels. Thank you for making it, and for including the short about the end of Ezio’s life.
I feel like this could have been the case for many other assassins too, if they had gotten more games. Imagine a game where we see Connor rebuilding the Colonial Assassins. Or a game where Arno hunts down Shay (or vice versa). I really wanted Arno to get more games, I really liked him in the end
These 3 games have more story in them than most people give them credit for. I’m actually very impressed because when I played these 10 years ago, I didn’t catch any of this stuff
This kinda content is needed as a record keeping for this amazing franchise. Otherwise the stories would just fade away from memory story. Amazing work
Man I remember being like 14 or 15 tripping out when Minerva started talking to Desmond, it was like she was talking to me when she just looks at the camera and Ezio is like “?????” Strongly believe AC2 was the height of the series in terms of story
Patient Wolf is the best at these type of videos man I know how hard it must be to get this all edited and everything mad respect been watching for a couple years now I think 2017! Glad to see you uploading a little more regularly again!
This story recap is amazing, you really manage to capture the storytelling from the game witch is in my opinion some of the best written stories for a game series ever. Looking forward to your next Complete story of Black flag, easily one of the most innovative and best game mechanics made games.
What a throwback to the real assassins creed games. I miss the old days, where I couldn't wait for the release of Revelation and replaying AC2 and Brotherhood while waiting. Regarding story, I feel like the Ac1, 2, Brotherhood and Revelation where the deepest. Everything after that wasnt that deep, still played them all, but non of them achieved the same depth as those games. And I like your video, felt real nostalgic while watching the whole thing
I could listen to this man all day, his voice and way of story telling is incredible! Iv never been one to care for the modern story but i love the story of the individual assassins like Ezio, Connor, Bayek etc
I can appreciate the newer titles in the series, but I wish they would come back to the roots. I remember getting AC: Brotherhood as my first game on my Xbox 360 and falling in love with the series immediately. Will always hold a solid place in my heart. Thank you for your dedication put into this video. It tugged on the nostalgia and my heart strings. A wonderful effort.
this was very well done, it saddens me to see this video has low views with such a great way of telling the story of Ezio Auditore, I did sit down and watched the entire thing, I never finished Revelations but now I finally know its conclusion.
I just discovered your channel through your story summary videos on RDR1+2 and TLOU1+2 and instantly subscribed. I don't think it needs to be said at this point since the math is evident enough, but just to put it out there: please continue making content in this format! The way you approach these videos are not only deeply fascinating and well put together, but it has evidently grown your channel immensely.
Ezio’s story is so damn good. Loses his family in AC2, buries them after you carry them in ACB, and reaches his own mortality in ACR. And the ACB/ACR games were such good games, if AC2 had the features they had it would have been one of the greatest games ever made
Here after watching all four Assassin's Creed story videos...... truly amazing please make more lore videos like the first civilization and Lucy Stilman
Thank you for making this video; I finished the Ezio Trilogy a couple of days ago and needed a good recap of everything and really let it sink in. Your video was great, I loved the storytelling, got teary-eyed at the end for sure ! The first 4 AC games might be super buggy and not the best ever in terms of gameplay and everything, but oh boy the story is just SO good. It will stay with me for a long time.
Patient wolf, you HAVE GOT to do a story about the kenways! I know it would be a little backwards (having Edward first) but it would go great I believe.
First of all let me say this video is a masterpiece and you are an incredible content creator. Seriously talented. Secondly I must say you sound SO much like James May! 😂. Anyways, thank you for such a brilliant video. I’ve been a fan of the AC franchise since the games inception.
Great video, and a great way of narrating. Even tho I knew how Ezio died, at the end of the video I still felt like shedding a tear. I wish Ubisoft didn't fire the person who was responsible for the story in Assassin's Creed.
Wonderful content. Just discovering your channel, and I'm loving it. This will be a joy to watch. And afterwards will be added to my "sleep" playlist. They calm me down for some reason :) Thanks!!
Not gonna lie, I was probably too young to play this series when the first few were released. But the Altair and Ezio storylines had a really profound effect on my outlook on the world and how fate can act. Obviously I know it's all story but the thought of absolutely everything being out of your control, written in stone centuries before only to be filled out like prophecies centuries later past your own lifetime. To this day the first 4 games give me a sickening existential dread in the pit of my stomach. The games and story kinda fell off for me after that, but holy crap did they do something with origins and odyssey 😅
I agree with absolutely everything you've said Cathrine, AC2&3 are definitely in my top 5 in the AC Series, them two placing at #1 & 2, with AC3 taking place of #1. Odyssey is hard putting at #3 because it's such an amazing experience and game to play, but gotta give appreciation to the OGs. Than at 4&5 are AC: Origins & Blackflag.
This story could've become so convoluted but instead it flows perfectly even with so many details. Just finished AC2 after not playing it for a long time. It was like riding a bike
These are really well made! Can you also do the complete story of the following games if you get the time?: Heavy Rain (best ending) Final Fantasy 10 or 15 Breath of the Wild and Age of Calamity (this would be really good to coincide with the release of the sequel next year, RUclips’s algorithm will likely pick it up if a lot of people are catching up on the story just before the game launches)
thank you so much! i’m currently replaying the ezio trilogy, trying to get the platinum trophy on all 3. i’ve just got one trophy to go until i’ve finished brotherhood! and with all this time spent trophy hunting i can barely remember the story and wanna catch myself up before revelations🤣

I beat AC2 and ACB earlier this year, got lazy on ACR but just finished it last night and started AC3( playing the whole series) This is a nice way to avoid going back to those 2 games again lol
Easily the best part of Assassins Creed story. Ezio's trilogy is by far superior to all the nonsense that came after it, it was simple, deep, perfectly executed, had understandable and relatable story, and everything in it was believable and possible. There were no gods, mutants, superheros, superpowers and other nonsense that came with later stuff, no stupid rpg elements, no diving for 40 hours to get the chests, no loot boxes. Damn, it was a simpler, better time. So sad to see how far AC has fallen from grace with all the fluff.
In the process of playing all of the games some for the first time. But just going to say this wouldn’t it cool if they made one that involves Spartacus and the rebel uprising in Rome? Surely that would be awesome!

Oh wow and where did u discovered that?
Desmond's mother and father ancestors are badass goddamn
It's a headcanon of mine that we are related
Its crazy to think that Ezio's predecessor and kenways predecessor meet and both their predecessors meet altairs predecessor and Desmond is born
Arno is related to ezio
