Man... I was just vibing and killing time, saw this on my recommended and decided it would be fascinating. I wasn’t disappointed. I used to dislike Revelations, but after playing the Ezio trilogy again and really sinking myself into Ezio’s character and seeing him go from a stubborn, honourable and brash young man to a wise and skilled mentor and finally get to let go of his past, I’ve fallen in love with it. The music and the simple “No books, no wisdom. Just you, fratello mio...” gives me goosebumps when you hear and watch it in the context of Ezio’s and Altaïr’s entire lives and their growth as characters. It’s so impactful, and this video perfectly showed that. I love Ezio and Frederico’s conversation in AC2, I love his speech at the Bonfire of the Vanities in AC2, and I love a lot of the moments in Brotherhood too. But Revelations is what made me love Ezio, not the others games, I genuinely get emotional in that last scene. This video is excellent, and when I saw it only had 1.5k views I had to do a double take, I get that that’s still a lot of people, but for a video of this quality and depth to not have more views astonishes me. It deserves more attention and love, I hope this one grows

I think Ezio stuck the landing in 2, but what made him *last* in the minds of us all is that we've seen his entire life's story. All his greatest accomplishments are also ours, I like to imagine he'd be like Geralt in that Witcher 3 anniversary video: "you know me better than anyone, been there since the beginning" (quote from memory) It also helped that he had the best outfits in the series, especially his Brotherhood robes. Elegant and paradoxically simple. I think if we got to spend time with Bayek, Connor, or especially Altair, they could have easily been standing tall with Ezio in our hearts. Hell, they had a great thing going with Haytham, but sadly our relationship with him wasn't meant to last.

Ezio and Caterina was supposed to be Ezio and Rosa but because Rosa's voice actress died between assassins creed 2 and brotherhood, likely ezio and Rosa would have ended up breaking up at some point after Ezio stayed in Rome while Rosa needed to return to Venice (which is distance of 500 some miles and like a full day's ride there by horse or carriage
While I agree with your point, I have to point out that you grossly overestimate how fast you can travel by horse/carriage: remember a horse is not a car, but a living being, and how long it will take for a horse to cover a distance will depend on the fitness level, training, endurance, and stamina of the animal. Factors such as terrain and footing, the weather, the weight and fitness of the rider and any additional gear they're carrying also play a role. Assuming the above-mentioned conditions are all good, a horse can travel 30-50 km in a day, which means a trip between Rome and Venice (= 500 km) would take around 10 days. Now this travel time can be reduced by using carriage (around 7 days), horse relay (around 2 days), or covering some of the distance by ship (2-8 days).

It was so well driven home that 13 years later it still hits like a ton of bricks and kills you inside just as it hits Ezio. That was his last hope at happiness gone or so we thought.
I find it interesting that your interpretation of the library scene was "run away, it's not worth it." My interpretation has always been that ezio, after building the brotherhood back up and decades of reflecting on who desmond might be, decided that he could finally laid down his weapons because both in his time and centuries later, there was someone to take up his fight. I've always thought it was a moment of passing the torch and accepting his reward and rest, with embers echoing and expanding on these themes

Assasin's creed 2 being such a good sequel, Ezio having a solid story and his connection with the modern day angle, and AC2 being complete game on its own are what make Ezio great. While yes there were plotlines left Ezio would have been a great character with just AC2. Brotherhood and Revelation just made us truly know Ezio from beginning to end that just makes him feel special.
I don't think the attack on the villa caused his death. Thrughout the entirety of Ambers Ezio suffered from violent coughs. As a fittingly bitter end for Ezio, it might have been a sickness that took his life only a decade after he finally went to life his life. Pneynomia was still very deadly back then and he attempted to write his will before the assassin even had arrived, which means Ezio knew he was dying.

This is not the first time I’ve watched this video. I love Ezio out of all the video game characters I’ve grown up with it’s Ghost and Ezio. We see him at birth, in his teen years (17), we watched him grow into a man and a mentor. No greater story has been told than the one about Ezio in my personal opinion. He had to grow up so fast just like many of us nowadays. I was 9 when I played AC2 and even to this day I still play 2, brotherhood and for the first time fully played through revelations in full. Embers broke my heart when he passed away. It felt like a family member had died. Someone you had great memories with and spent alot of time with. Knowing his whole life really bonds you with a character.
My favorite series in a favorite franchise, there will never be another Ezio…..I,loved this character study so thank you for taking the time to do it. These games made me laugh, smile, cringe, worry, feel anxiety, and cry….it’s full of so much emotion. It will always be beloved in my opinion. 🌸☮️🌸
Oh yes thank u….I will definitely check that out….btw have you done Arno yet….I’m replaying Unity right now and it made me think of it. Thank you tho for the thoughtful work you do…..it’s much appreciated 🌸☮️🌸🦋
the reason we all remember Ezio so much is a simple reason, his story is a coming of age and maturation story with, his story starts out with him as a teenager, and we get to see him grow into a man.
Despite being a massive ac fan I never understood why ezio is so loved and thought he was overrated but now I understand that he is so relatable, skilled and charismic and I haven’t even finished the video yet Also, I the only ac game I haven’t played is brotherhood so that might be why I thought he was overrated
Something I love about ac covers is that they show the progression of the series and it’s shift. From ac1 to acR the protagonists are front and center with the Animus white room standing as a backdrop, while in ac3 to Syndicate have the protagonists in the center with its historic time period visible in the background, while Origins to Valhalla have the protagonist shrunk down in favor of a huge open world. It shows that AC1-ACR focus’s the most on the characters and story, AC3-Syndicate focus on the time period as well as the story, and Origins-Valhalla focus almost entirely on the time period with the characters as trivial components despite the fact that Ubisoft has always been great at short, action adventure, narrative driven games.
AC revelations held the most importance to me. I had followed the series from AC2 to Revelations at the time and the final ezio speech to Desmond absolutely destroyed me
Revelations was my first AC game, I was young and did not understand the story completely but i started at his end, going back and living Ezio's life. I have played every game in this franchise, enjoying all in some way, but the Ezio trilogy will always stand as the greatest set of stories told in this franchise.
Personally, I think Ezio learns 3 big lessons throughout his games. AC2: Revenge isn't worth it. AC Brotherhood: Though he isn't able to put down his sword and is forced to fight this war, he doesn't have to wage it alone. There are others willing to stand by his side. AC Revelations: He's fought this war well, but he cannot hope to end it in his lifetime. Sometimes, it's better to just let go and live a peaceful existence instead of fighting a battle you have no hope of winning.
This video was very well thought out and written. You can tell this man put alot of time into it. And i do have to admit that i have been searching for another character to immerse myself in like i did with Ezio Auditore. I think the closest I will get again has been Geralt of Rivia. The Ezio trilogy was perfectly written for its time. The old saying of " a great story teller always leaves you wanting more " applies to the story of Ezio IMO. Ubi should make at the very least 2 games for each new character IMO. 1 that gives you a back story and main plot. And the 2nd as how the character comes to a close. For me each AC game since this series has felt unfinished and each 1 feels more watered down. Valhalla is the best in the series since the Ezio trilogy IMO but again as the trend goes, they close out the character by the end of the game letting little or nothing to build upon. Thank you for making this video though, i watched the entire thing and enjoyed every minute of it.
The Ezio trilogy truly is the heart and soul of the Assassin's Creed franchise. Every story and series have an identity, and a lot of times it happens to be the main character inhabiting the world we are reading or watching. Ezio was exactly that and it's no wonder that the series hasn't been the same since (although Black Flag was amazing).
I dont usually comment on videos, but man oh man, this video brought back so many memories. This video should have a lot more recognition, an excellently constructed character analysis! Now I’m gonna go back and play these games again and probably ball a river of tears once I finish, what a character, perfect for me. I do wish we got a bit more of Cristina and Ezio but I understand that he was never meant to end up with her, that’s the whole tragedy of it all, but still would’ve loved to see more. But whatever that maybe, Ezio is and it seems always will be my favourite video game character, not just for the man he was, but the man he grew to be, I didn’t care about the destination, it was the journey that made it worthwhile. I know video game movie adaptations are usually crap, but looking at something like THE LAST OF US series, I’d love to see them make an Ezio inspired movie trilogy, I feel his story has all the right parts to succeed in films as well - action, romance, comedy and most importantly an in depth, well constructed main character who is constantly fighting his demons. Again, thank you for making this video, by the end I was in tears 😭
Literally the music was what got me into the series. The music at AC2’s title when watching my brother play the game was the moment I fell in love with the series. There’s something about the soundtracks that just grabs me by the heart at an emotional and maybe spiritual level. This video is wonderful to watch. It helped me understand why people loved Ezio when I struggled to connect with him as much as I wanted to for years.
we have seen this man from birth to death we saw his family die. we saw him take down the borgia. he found altairs library and he died after one last fight in his own manor he sat there in the same area he started seeking revenge the same spot where he stopped being that kid that place he turned into an assassin. forever raquiescat en pace ezio auditore da firenze
This character analysis is one of the most detailed I’ve ever seen on YT. You’ve made me fall in love with Ezio even more than I already did! Also, can’t help but notice the very north east English accent you have 💃🏻. Fellow NE’er here 😎😎
Is a really shame that we didn’t have a proper sequel to the Ezio Auditore - Shao Jun after that espectacular ending in AC Embers, and it wasn’t until Chronicles china but it was too late and many people move on, you can see many resemble on AC 3 interactions between Aquiles & Connor, similar as its portrayed in Embers with Ezio and Shao.
I just got around to this video because I was hateful about your opinions for the newer games, but I watched the video. I play revelations first, my favorite AC game of all time and then I play the rest of Ezios games. I love the character growth and the subtle end of Revelations, the robes, the wisdom, the brassness of the character because he is tired (in my eyes) he is ready to get out of the life he didn't choose and I personally think that this game was the perfect end of a REAL Assassion and he choose to finish it for good when the person (I forgot his name because I'm drunk) to be done because the assassins will thrive with or without him. How the gameplay didn't change (in how I see it old dogs cant learn new tricks). He learned everything he knew other than a few new gadgets, and he pursued what he thought what was needed but got what he deserves in the end. He out of all characters was given the best conclusion. With that I'll say one more thing which is I wish almost all characters had a trilogy to actually expand on characters give meaning like Ezio. I know Goobisoft won't ever do it but I truly wished they did and maybe I'll love the newer games like I did when I picked up revelations and went back to finish his story. He will always be a legend in my eyes regardless of opinions.
Very different Ezio, indeed. Not only is he older in Revelations, but the skeletal structure of his face is different, and his eyes are a different color lol
0:37 *conversations before odyssey* “Syndicate is the worst!” “No it’s the original, the graphics and mechanics don’t hold up!” *conversations after Odyssey* “Maybe Victorian England wasn’t so bad” “You know, I appreciate the simplistic design of the original”
I think the reason is because Ezio was the first character we actually grow and develop with , his desires became our desires , we actually went through that journey together with Ezio , and that is why he is remembered. No character in AC had that effect so far.
When he was talking about “telling” each assassin to not “do it” and how it doesn’t end with them; it really goes to show that the war between Assassins and Templars has went on for so long from beginning to end (Odyssey-modern times with Desmond) and how nothing has changed. This makes me wonder what would really happen if none of the assassins or templars did what they did or when they will realize that it’s been going on for too long kinda thing
Me, realizing this video is an hour long and I have nothing to do: Oh, hell yeah. Also me realizing that this video doesn't have enough views: Wait, what the fu-
Amazing work man, I’m replaying through the trilogy for the 6th time and it’s truly something special! It’s always nice to see someone put into words what you can’t, whenever someone asks me why I still replay these so many times when they prefer the new style AC I just can’t explain it. It’s engrossing.
This was a very well researched and thought out character study…..thank you😊This trilogy enabled me to fall in love with gaming. I’ve played many games now…mostly action/adventure…..but my favorite will always be the Ezio Trilogy. I really enjoyed the video. ❤
I feel like the art of creating a video game specific viewpoint character isn’t discussed enough. There are lots of brilliant video game characters but it’s rare to find the viewpoint character as a standout. Ezio, Geralt, Kratos, Peter Parker, Arthur Morgan are a couple of great stand outs but so often we find our protagonist miss the mark or serve as a blank canvas for the player. I’m often immersed in the world but kinda forget about my character. I feel like it’s a difficult balance to find between the player and the character of how much control is given to either one
Well, first off, the official name, Ezio Auditore DA Firenze, is a very epic name that represents the majesty of his era. There is a reason this kind of title is used in fantasy all the time. What sounds more grandiose Ulfric Stormcloak or Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak of Windhelm? Geralt, or Geralt of Rivia? Elrond, or Elrond Half-Elven of Rivendell? It's this way people had of referring to themselves going from basically the dawn of civilization up until the Pope's surname mandate. To make every little thing about yourself into a formal sounding title. I'm sure that Altair Ibn-La'Ahad might be a similarly grandiose title to someone who is familiar with whatever language that is... But the main audience of Assassin's Creed are people who speak some form of European language. Granted, English isn't that close to Italian, but there is enough common knowledge to sus out that it says "of Florence". Mostly because we all probably remember being told in school, at some point, that DaVincci actually means "of Vinci". It's not like they use this in any other games really. There's no Alexios of Kephalonia.
I think the attack on the villa being the reason why he dies would've been better, but the problem is that the shifty guy on the bench even has a hidden blade sound effect, as if he were using a blade that had poison in it.
First of all you did a fine job doing this analysis and your main strength is actually characters soo yeah there are lot of characters to analyis you don't have to stay with only gaming soo yeah do characters that you think are interesting

your right that the conflict will never end, but we fight to keep our rights, and so long as we are willing to fight for our rights, we will continue to have freedom for our family and our children and onward, but if we become lazy or complacent and not continue the fight, they will win and you will be taken over. this is why it's become an integral staple within American history to fight for freedom at all costs, right now it's starting to look like the ppl have had enough and are just about ready to fight for their freedom again, because they were idle for far too long and have been unfortunate enough to see the tyranny to the point where if they don't fight, they will regret not doing anything about it as their children and their children's children will be born into bondage and suffer the consequence of their inaction.
What an amazing analysis! Loved how you delved into subtle details too like his clothes and the music used to define his character and the events surrounding his life.
I think we already have a fundamental misunderstanding of historical life expectancy. It's an average, and infant/childhood fatality was a huge part of this average. If you survived to adulthood you would most likely still live to be in your 60s or 70s. You'd still get old and gray haired. There wasn't some mystical force killing people at thirty. As a small example, let's use two people. One lives to be 59, the other dies at 1. In order to get an average life expectancy, you add the individual data, then divide by the number of individuals. So 59 + 1 = 60. 60/2 = 30. Does this make sense now? Large amounts of people weren't just dying at thirty. There were a bunch of people dying when they were legitimately old, even by today's standards, and another bunch of people dying as infants, toddlers, or young children. Old people and children died more often, just like today, for the same reason as today.... They don't have good immune systems. There would have been no reasonable expectation for Giovanni Auditore to drop dead, as of the time of this game.. Edit: Ezio is not "older than his father could have ever been" in Revelations. As I pointed out, this isn't how average life expectancy works. You have no idea if Giovanni could have lived as long as Ezio. In fact, our knowledge of genetics would suggest that it's likely he would have, because Ezio inherited his health potential, and immune system from someone.
I came to this series totally backwards and late to the party. When I found out about this series, it was after playing the Batman Arkham games in 2022. I had gotten Gotham Knights and was disappointed by it. From there, GN critique videos mentioned AC, but its aesthetic didn’t appeal to me at all. What did appeal was Odyssey. I loved the movie Troy and the old Ray Harryhausen films, and Odyssey looked like it would be a kind of Clash of the Titans adventure. So that was my jumping in point, and I loved it. Moved on the Valhalla from there and thoroughly enjoyed that too. Then I decided to back and played AC 3, Black Flag, Unity and just started Syndicate. I started with AC3 because of the American Revolution story. And I’ve liked each game better than the previous one. So far I’m liking Syndicate the best. Maybe it’s just the newer, less clunky game mechanics and that very familiar rope launcher. Maybe Syndicate is what I had hoped Gotham Knights would have been. Not sure if I’ll play the Ezio series yet, but these videos are getting me interested…
Life expectancy for a noble who reached the age of 21 in 16th century was 50 years. Most numbers don’t factor out infant and child mortality rates which drop the average. The part about reaching 21 is important as that would be more accurate as to the average life expectancy for those who reached adult hood. And in the Middle Ages in western europe some people lived until being in their 70’s and 80’s. Another factor is the plague didn’t die out in Europe until the late 18th century, the last outbreak being in 1720. If Ezio’s father was healthy he could have lived to be anywhere around 50 to 80 years old with a heavier lean to die around 50 based on technology, medical treatments and disease IF he didn’t have enemies who wanted him dead and were actively working to cut that life expectancy short lol
Honestly, sometimes i just think imagine if Ezio got his hands on the staff of Hermes. I know it's not fitting, but if he was given that immortality, he'd live a different life.
If you pause it in the right place the creepy guy in embers has a Templar cross on the underside of his bracer, my thought is he poisoned him. For a moment when ezio looks at him you see his eyes get wide... eagle vision painting him red perhaps
I was genuinely surprised when I came down to the comments and only saw 7 of them. This feels like the video of a much bigger channel, great job mate!

My favorite series in a favorite franchise, there will never be another Ezio…..I,loved this character study so thank you for taking the time to do it. These games made me laugh, smile, cringe, worry, feel anxiety, and cry….it’s full of so much emotion. It will always be beloved in my opinion. 🌸☮️🌸
thank you so much for the kind words! i have another character study on Edward coming out tonight that could right up your alley 😊
I’m glad you touched on the music. The music in this game is the most memorable and haunting to me. It’s beautiful.
Tear's on my eyes brother "requiescat in pace" Ezio
This is why we love games and it's narrative lore, I cannot thank you enough for this. Hats off to you sir
Despite being a massive ac fan I never understood why ezio is so loved and thought he was overrated but now I understand that he is so relatable, skilled and charismic and I haven’t even finished the video yet
Also, I the only ac game I haven’t played is brotherhood so that might be why I thought he was overrated
“Oddesy is the worst” I come from the future to tell you about Valhalla 😅😂
We followed ezio story since he was born until he was old for me the best assasin on the franchise i really miss him
As one die hard ac fan to another thank you for the in depth looks at these characters. Truly my favorite characters in gaming histroy
This character analysis is one of the most detailed I’ve ever seen on YT. You’ve made me fall in love with Ezio even more than I already did! Also, can’t help but notice the very north east English accent you have 💃🏻. Fellow NE’er here 😎😎
Thank you so much! and yeah im from the good ol North😄
How tf does this only have 1.5k views
Is a really shame that we didn’t have a proper sequel to the Ezio Auditore - Shao Jun after that espectacular ending in AC Embers, and it wasn’t until Chronicles china but it was too late and many people move on, you can see many resemble on AC 3 interactions between Aquiles & Connor, similar as its portrayed in Embers with Ezio and Shao.
Looking forward to seeing your channel grow.

*conversations before odyssey*
“Syndicate is the worst!”
“No it’s the original, the graphics and mechanics don’t hold up!”
*conversations after Odyssey*
“Maybe Victorian England wasn’t so bad”
“You know, I appreciate the simplistic design of the original”
I think the reason is because Ezio was the first character we actually grow and develop with , his desires became our desires , we actually went through that journey together with Ezio , and that is why he is remembered. No character in AC had that effect so far.
Excellent study of Ezio as a person i loved the attention to detail and insight into his psyche.
Just started watching this and so far I'm loving the vid. It's so frustrating that this vid isn't getting the attention it deserves.
"The things Ezio cannot have." That. That right there is something else.
Best character of assassins creed
Me, realizing this video is an hour long and I have nothing to do: Oh, hell yeah.
Also me realizing that this video doesn't have enough views: Wait, what the fu-
Ezio is a legendary character
Amazing work man, I’m replaying through the trilogy for the 6th time and it’s truly something special! It’s always nice to see someone put into words what you can’t, whenever someone asks me why I still replay these so many times when they prefer the new style AC I just can’t explain it. It’s engrossing.
This was a very well researched and thought out character study…..thank you😊This trilogy enabled me to fall in love with gaming. I’ve played many games now…mostly action/adventure…..but my favorite will always be the Ezio Trilogy. I really enjoyed the video. ❤
Because he's unforgettable...
I loved revelations sound track. Now it makes a little more sense.
Well my first video on this channel. I’ve been an AC fan for a while and I think this is great. Defiantly will subscribe and can’t wait for more
Thank you I have a playlist specifically for my Assassins Creed analysis if you’re looking for more ac content
They call him "The Eagle-Bearer" which I think reflects the more grandiose and mythical setting of the game
They wanted to make Ezio have a crow? They must've kept that in their back pocket until Valhalla
Ty for the video, loved it!
I’m glad you liked it!
that revelations ambient music gets me everytime
Well Said. Let’s get this man to a million.
I think the attack on the villa being the reason why he dies would've been better, but the problem is that the shifty guy on the bench even has a hidden blade sound effect, as if he were using a blade that had poison in it.
his life, was an amazing, tragedy. this made me cry 😅
Thank you for sharing an amazing video. I deeply enjoyed it!
First of all you did a fine job doing this analysis and your main strength is actually characters soo yeah there are lot of characters to analyis you don't have to stay with only gaming soo yeah do characters that you think are interesting
Bro......Ezio Family Theme music just gives goosebumps !!!!😍😍
Chilllzzzzzzzz Broooooooooo
And the "The road to masyaf" is like
Knowledge of eternity
Ezio Auditore Da Firenze is ♥♥♥
Ezio Auditore: The most interesting man in your life
im so glad i came across this video
57:14 Or we could say developers are leaving a massage to the players saying "let our suffering end,Let the franchise die"
Come on youtube algorithm, give this video the views it deserves.
2:26 is a masterpiece
Cannot express in text how great this video is made. Thank you.
Thank you for watching it!! Maybe check out my video on Black Flag and Valhalla if you enjoyed this one ruclips.net/video/lHQ7gO5sNjo/видео.html
What an amazing video! The production quality is so high on this!
The long awaited follow up is finally here! After the incredible success of this video I told you I’d be doing a similar video for Edward Kenway and you can finally watch it ruclips.net/video/lHQ7gO5sNjo/видео.html
I guess I'm kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good website to watch newly released movies online ?
@Jace Rayan Flixportal xD
@Tyson Neil Thanks, signed up and it seems to work :D Appreciate it!
@Jace Rayan You are welcome =)
your right that the conflict will never end, but we fight to keep our rights, and so long as we are willing to fight for our rights, we will continue to have freedom for our family and our children and onward, but if we become lazy or complacent and not continue the fight, they will win and you will be taken over.
this is why it's become an integral staple within American history to fight for freedom at all costs, right now it's starting to look like the ppl have had enough and are just about ready to fight for their freedom again, because they were idle for far too long and have been unfortunate enough to see the tyranny to the point where if they don't fight, they will regret not doing anything about it as their children and their children's children will be born into bondage and suffer the consequence of their inaction.
This deserves so much views!!!
(Could you maybe also do a Video about Bayek?)
Bayek is definitely on my list! I’m currently writing a character study on Connor but Bayek will be the next big one after that :]
@@willismakesmovies Connor is defenetly underated. I wish Ubisoft kept his endingspeech
@@thanos_6.0 Oh definitely it gave a lot of finality to him and Haytham which was sorely needed, was it cut or just written for forsaken?
Love all your character breakdowns !!
Keep it up man, you are definitely underrated and deserve more love.
What an amazing analysis! Loved how you delved into subtle details too like his clothes and the music used to define his character and the events surrounding his life.
Thank you so much!
This video made me tear up so many times, genuinely feel like I wanna name my first born son Ezio, have been for a while, what do you guys think
Thank you for making this. I wish ive seen it sooner. All about this video is great. Cheers to you!
It's 2023 sometimes I go back and play The 3⃣ Ezio assassins creed games. It could be my favorite games actually
How do you feel about Ezio coming back in Assassin's Creed Nexus the VR AC game?
This was absolutely amazing you hit every perfectly and agree with every point you make you deserve more subs and views
Ezio became a real person for all of us.
He and his games are best. I love them. Still top - stories and characters. ❤
Realy nice work. :)
Wow, fuck youtube for the audio cut at 46:07
That was devastating it was only the sad air horns
You should do a character study Arthur Morgan he's my favorite video game protagonist
Love the analysis and quality of this vid.
This is my favorite character and brotherhood is favorite.
Great video mate
Masterpiece video great analysis
Ok now i saw that actually 55:32 altairs son looks a lot like someone we see in the animus island in revelation
Honestly, sometimes i just think imagine if Ezio got his hands on the staff of Hermes. I know it's not fitting, but if he was given that immortality, he'd live a different life.
music name plaes 2:25
Really enjoyed the video
If you pause it in the right place the creepy guy in embers has a Templar cross on the underside of his bracer, my thought is he poisoned him. For a moment when ezio looks at him you see his eyes get wide... eagle vision painting him red perhaps
Am I the only one who finds the multiple Ezios running around in the Vatican absolutely hiliarious?
Because he got three games and two movies.
