How long will such a unit last? Years ago I had a jump start pack and it lasted about three years and you couldn't get spare batteries. Well you could, but they cost more than a new unit. That potential problem aside, these new compact jump starters look a really good idea.
I've got similar one, older model with no USB-C. Works quite well for more than years now. Started the car(s) more than 30 times. It's really a good tool and mine has an "extra" booster mode - which actually started a brain-dead Spider TS on it's last way to the mechanic for parts. Without this "booster" mode there was some action but the car didn't start. The boost drained like 75% of unit's capacity but made the engine run. I believe Neil's unit also has this mode since I think they're all one design just branded differently.
Get one, it's very useful emergency rescue device in countries with snow in the winter, where the temperature drips below 0. And if outside temperatere is -10 or -15 it's almost a must-have for older/classic cars.
Does anyone know if it's bad to leave a battery on trickle charge? And should a car battery be on a specific charging option other than 12v?

Disable the car and see how many goes you get before it's flat, be useful to us with old bangers that we are tinkering with.

Time will tell. I'd imagine as with all batteries if not used the battery will fail.
