Comprehensive review. Well done! Just had my JS1200 delivery from Ebay and it worked first time. I will have to pay extra attention to the 'booster button' use/capabilities to get proper usage out of unit. Greetings from a Brit residing in the USA.

Thanks very much for this review. I have already got one of these on order but I didn't think that this will start a battery less car. As I don't use my vehicle that often, I am wondering if you can use the 14V port just to keep the car battery topped up whilst the car stands. If it can be used that way then it will be perfect.
If you watched the FULL VIDEO you will see that he started a car which had no battery connected, just with the JS1200.
@@awalk5177 You misread my comment. I didn't think it would start a battery less car until I watched the video. Didn't think is past tense meaning BEFORE I watched it.
@@retrocomputeruser You had crossed tenses in your message, . "I didn't" and "will start". A confusing sentence which could go either past tense (didn't) or current tense (will). Not misread, just confusing how it was written. Cheers.
Most of the reviews on this particular unit are the same, none of them mention or seem to know the start up current. The peak current doesn't mean much.
Don't care, got one and it works, $49 on Amazon...😁
