    It's only the fact that Melodifestivalen now is never ending that actually kinda is bögarnas fel.
    And no I do not feel offended by this song. I think it does a great job pointing out the absurdity of, especially religious, people blaming gay people for everything.
    I think religious people might be more offended by this song than any us lgbtq people. I mean it brings up a lot of bad things that comes with religion and how ridiculous lots of religious people are.
    Basically this song is mostly bringing up terrible things that are done/caused of/by religions/religious people and how they put the blame elsewhere.
    Another similar song and classic everyone knows and you should check out is *Storswänsken by Euskefeurat,* it does pretty much the same thing but about racists and racism.

      Well, the LGBTQ groups did get offended by it, after all, it's the get offended by everything group... Proper gays weren't offended by it at all, it's all them queers that get offended by everything on this god damned planet. But I don't think the religious people got offended at all, maybe the Muslims, but I didn't hear about any terror attacks in regards to it, so most likely not.
      And I agree it is the gays fault that the Melodifestival never ends, after all Christer Björkman is the one dude running it, and he's gay. And let us not forget the song he made...
      Imorgon är en annan dag. A song so horrendous that they could use it to torture people at Guantanamo Bay.

      @@Templarofsteel88 or is it? If we're going to be very accurate in the political sphere, a lot of bad stuff that has occurred since the 90s is due to the gays, in quite a literal sense. Now are the gays to be blamed for the things done in their name, not necessarily, because most of the horrible stuff that has occurred is due to women with very sick imaginations, that want to make old man+non legal boys a thing.
      However I don't blame the gays for that, after all we've not done anything to make things worse, there's however some of the alphabet people who are less how to phrase it politely, sane. Some would even say that anyone in that specific group would only be able to contribute to society from a 6 by 3 by 6 feet hole in the ground. Some might even claim that the groups name is a synonym for weird.

    @rogerlundstrom6926 Год назад +27

    Not Galenskaparna, Grotesco. I think the confusion may be because this IS kind of just a rework of a Galenskaparna styled skit.. The skit is rather a way to look at self-righteous religious people who think they are perfect and think that everything that is amiss in the world is because of the people who.. aren't them.. Grotesco's song is about blaming homosexuals (I think that in Britain there were politicians who sincerely blamed the legalisation of Gay marriage as the reason for a flooding they had a short while after the law passed.. ).. Though Galenskaparna's "Himmelen har skänkt oss alibi" (From a very good movie named "Hajen som visste för mycket"), isn't trying to point fingers directly, but rather about how some people who are Christians think they are absolved from any responsibility.

    As a member of the bögarna, I fvcking forbid anyone to be offended on my account. Because I seriously don't believe any sane gay person would ever be offended after watching this. It's already sad (and pathetic) enough that such a skit would be absolutely demolished in its infancy if it were to come out today, let's at least enjoy the spicier humor of the past. I mean it's not even directed towards gay people, people who feel it's offensive should seriously go outside and touch grass.

      Great comment. As a straight man who loves this song, I've always from the first second watching it, understood that this is a totally obvious satire that makes fun of various religions (among other institutions) and their history of homophobia. And even more than that in the end, and that's why this classic satire was so ahead of its time, and has gained recognizion through the years. I'm also glad to read online that people apparently sing this song at the Pride parades over here. Those people get it, and the Grotesco crew would be proud of that.
      And if that message isn't clear for those who don't "get the satire": I promise you - Swedish Television would never ever air something that would felt in anyway "hateful" to the LGBT+ community back then (or even more now). That's so bloody obvious, isn't it?

    Swedes weren't offended by this because we usually didn't get offended in general (now Swedes are almost like Americans) and we're not religious almost at all and that is who they mock.

      @@Nekotaku_TV I understand, but my point was that the offendedness is not exactly new and that the song was controversial even at its release. When they performed it at “Allsång på Skansen”, it was reported for hets mot folkgrupp, and became a case for the justitiekansler!

    • @Nekotaku_TV

      @@Nerkin610 Well how long after was it at Skansen? But yeah it's dumb either way. I just don't remember anything when it aired but now I know Swedes have changed and are easily offended when we used to be famous for not being offended. Sad.
