One of the best tutorials I've seen in ages. Copied it for my bases but without the airbrush steps and I'm so so happy with the results. Already getting a lot of comments on them! Thanks!

Rob another home-run. I only have one problem with your videos....not enough of them! Great job, again. You have made me start stippling, when a month ago I didn't even know what that was. Thank you so much for what you share with everyone it is greatly appreciated.

I'm following this for my first batch of gangers from the Underhive box set. I added hazard stripes to be a little extra.

Damn, I should paint my bases like that. I was just lazy and painted 'em in black and a couple coats of metal.

Hey Rob, can you suggest alternatives to the Vallejo Model Air (VMA) series? I notice you use these paints in a lot of your videos but I'm unable to find them for sale individually.

Might be a bit late but I know on eBay you often find sellers who sell your pick of [no.] Vallejo colours.

At the 30 second mark he does a highlight but says to just highlight the middle. It looks like he covers most of the base. Am I missing something? Did he just avoid the rim of the top of the base. Kind of confused. Bases look awesome though

How’s the phosphorescent paint look in the dark or black light? Just wondering if the camera would catch it at all.

    • @RobPaintsModels

My camera doesn't pick it up well. I've ordered a UV torch which should arrive tomorrow to see if it makes a difference as I read that it should glow more under UV than visible light. It does have this odd quality in low light where it looks brighter than your brain thinks it should be but the camera doesn't capture it.

vallejo fluo glow in the dark? I have 5 colours and none of them glow.

They glow under UV light. Vallejo phosphorescent paint glows in the dark.
