This is one time I'm happy that RUclips is listening into my private conversations 😅.
I'm literally doing a paint commission for my friends Navy Breachers right now and have been saying out loud for a few days "I want the bases to look like they're exploring a space Hulk". This is the most perfect video for the algorithm to show me, and thank you man for making it!

That was incredibly helpful and your ideas/techniques are spot on! The bloody hand print and goo idea were brilliant; adds a perfect amount of background to the settings.
Some substitute material ideas I found when replicating a few of your effects.
    - Water texture paint or gloss medium if you don't have resin
    - recycled cereal boxes with a glossy side if you dont have card stock
    - brown base coat the metal and dry brush silver after for a more heavily rusted metal
    - Spru bits cut small to look like gurders or slide tracks if you don't have zip ties

Some good ideas. It's always fun painting and modeling for Space Hulk. I've always gone for an overly dirty look.

Great vid, thanks! Is there a specific type of plasticard you’d recommend?

Not particularly. I just buy whatever is cheap and have never been disappointed.

The other option was Trazyn and Orikan, but this also works.

Love this! What are the "bottles" you're holding your bases on?

Thank you. Those are lids from mouthwash bottles. I find them to be the perfect size.

Hi there. What sheets do you use for this?

Side note i just saw how you dripped the citadel washes onto your palette and realised ive just moved all my washes and contrasts into dropper bottles for no reason 😂

    What minis are those

They are Imperial Navy Breachers. They were in the "Kill Team: Into the Dark" box set.

Use small wires and cleaning tips as pipes on budget. There is a mesh for wentilation that you can use as metal net. And add some scraches to the panels.
