Awesome truck. Y'all do great work. One thing...I don't understand why people put fake exaust stacks on trucks that have grass burner exaust. Why not actually move the exaust where you want it? Is that not a possibility? Serious question. I really would like to know.

Still looks good, damn emissions. Dont get the sound of the pre emissions but at least you can still get the look lol

Otherwise it's a very sharp truck!
Torsee I totally agree, plus ya waste all that money, those pipes aren't cheap. Those 8"pipes would sound a lot better as well.

John Hull ehhhh I'm old school I don't mind cleaning. Sound of those pipes it worth it. I just put buckets over the stacks if its sitting and its gonna rain.
I was appalled seeing dual 8" pipes unhooked.... That's losing power, losing that deep throaty rumble of the stacks and not getting the exhaust heat away from the engine

1st & Foremost “R.I.P” to Mr.Marvin Rush, he founded rush truck centers. If I was on their board of directors then I’d definitely give “Peterbilt Steve” his very own dealership to run. Preferably in the CT and or tri-state areas. You just don’t see salesmen like steve anymore,even though he’s a young guy he knows more than most old timers that have been trying to sell for years. I’m just a customer speaking so if your lucky enough to get Steve’s time and attention then take advantage, he won’t steer Y’all wrong.

So it's the fact these are aftermarket 8" stacks that they can't work with emissions?.....i assume factory 7" Pete stacks are both plumbed into exhaust system?

I'm retired but man I want to go for a drive,not a long drive just a couple of 1000 mile with a custom 48 ft thermoking. Utilty reefer behind that Cadillac,mercy.

Lovely truck, but them stacks not being hooked up just takes the thrill away when you don't burn yourself climbing in and out it, and what them them real cold morning when your fueling up and You want harm your hands up..
I miss it too but this is what we have now....

Why did you mount the CB antenna so low on the back. The radiating element needs to be above the metal cab roof to give you the best performance. Your reducing the range of the CB quite a bit mounting it that low.
That is where it comes from the factory and the roof is fiberglass

You could’ve connect those pipes with a flex. Seen it on many DEF 389s.

Seen several 2017 ISX15s and MXs 389s done by the local Pete dealer. Same weedburner setup. Something must have changed with the X15 dpf...

can you explain what prevents you from shortening the exhaust and hooking a y pipe to the end of muffler and and make those big stacks functional
The filter is in the way and way too muck work to move it if you could
