Hi Cat, good grief that could have been so much worse. Poor eye. I don't think losing an eye for your art is a great idea. Glad you are ok and still are fully operational with two eyes!
I agree, losing and I would have been a terrible thing for a photographer so I’m glad that I came away from the experience with no more than a bit of bruising and some hilarious video content. 😝
Your poor face. I gasped, watching it again. You know the best thing you could have done when you hit the tree was to apply pressure to the wounded area to prevent the blood from flowing and creating an epic black eye. It would have been a painful process but would have reduced the overall discolouration :D xxx
In the end I was quite proud of it so I wasn’t too upset about the epic blackeye. At the time it happened I didn’t expect it to get any worse, it was only when I woke up the next day and looked in the mirror I got a shock! 🙈 xxx
