    Thanks a bunch. I didnt even think about a small hot knife. That will be so useful making my organizers for the tool boxes.

      It’s a good tool, but it definitely has its uses and limitations. Thanks for stopping by 👍

      Hard to go wrong for $20. I waste a lot of money on a lot of other things, this was an easy buy.

    LOL, i was literally sitting waiting for the reference to the "hot knife through butter!" And there it was! very slick idea ;)

    I have one of those, never would have thought of using on model kits! Cool idea, thanks for the info.. Will have to try it out. Have a good one Mike!

      It seemed to work well. I’ll be using it again. A tool with many uses! 👍

    That looks like a great tool. I can see lot's of uses for that. Thanks, Ron

      This is as far as I’ve gone with the tool, but you’re absolutely right Ron, I’m sure there are so many uses for this and for $20, you can’t really go wrong! 👍

      I think there are plenty of uses for it, this was just the first one I thought of, and it’s pretty cheap too! 👍

    What a great little tool! I'll have to check into one of those. Thanks for sharing!

    Looks like that works pretty good. I always thought those would just make a molten mess.

      I think if you’re careful with it, it should work just fine, but you’re right, a temperature control dial wouldn’t be a bad thing! Thanks for stopping by 👍

    Nice tool Mike, like a hot knife through butter.😊 Do you need to wear thick gloves?

    • @ScaleSpeedworks
      @ScaleSpeedworks  Год назад +2

      Heavy gloves may not be a bad idea, but then again if you don’t *plan* on cutting yourself, they shouldn’t be needed. Might be difficult handling parts and the tool, but not a bad idea 👍

    I have one also but my results were less than steller lol. I may have held it to long in one space.

      It heats up quick, but I’ve found it definitely has its uses 👍 Thanks for stopping by.
