I have to hand it to the cinematic team, every trailer is more beautiful than the last, bigger in scope and each one does a better job of conveying the sense of epic action. Well done guys, well done!

what ship was overturned by a wave from the iceberg?
its either a isokaze destroyer or a fubuki destroyer
or a inazuma destroyer
and yeah, considering the thin profile of some of these ships, it's rather realistic that it would happen. It would be amazing if stuff like that was in the game...
I would estimate, based on the single after turret but apparent mountings for a second with anti-aircraft machinegun emplacements there suggest that it is a late-war Fubuki-class, or possibly a Hatsuharu-class.

I love this trailer, its an epic show of things that get people hooked onto a game like this, it is a real shame how most things they depict here aren't actually in the game though, I'll name a few for reference, night battles, collapsing islands, rocking waves that roll destroyers, multi targeting for main battery guns, the search lights on the North Carolina was a cool feature as well that they could've added, but really none of what they show here is actually in the game, and I'm sure that as the game grows older it will get better but until then this trailer stands as somewhat of a movie representing things you wont see for a long time.
A few other things you can expect to NOT see is the animation of that destroyer slicing through the other one and coming to a halt then exploding, yea, no that never happens in the actual game, tap an enemy ship with your ship and it explodes that's it no slicing action no tears through the hull nothing, also the part where that Japanese ship I think it was a Myoko smashing through the edge of that iceberg, that doesn't happen either, if that was the real game that cruiser would come to a dead stop and have to reverse making him a huge target for the enemy team.
I'm not trying to put anyone off of the game it's actually quite a decent game even without all those features that they show in the trailer, but all I am trying to point out is that this trailer is a far stretch from the actual game.
If only half of the things shown worked or were actually in the game.

+PlaceOfElectro He was probably talking about the ability to cleave ice with gunfire or your ship's bulk, the ability to make man-made tsunamis, the ability to blare the ship's horn, the ramming phyics, lifeboats being thrown about in explosions, the titanic-esque sinking animation with the whole end of the ship out of the water, destroyed ships not sinking immediately, the really dark and stormy night battles, the more realistic flak effects, more realistic smoke effects, more realistic and immersive sound effects, better aircraft physics cinematic depth of field and motion blur, and widespread debris rain from exploded ships.
He basically wants the game to require a *NASA supercomputer* to run.

Not anytime in the foreseeable future. Wargaming didn't like the balancing of submarines and thought people would hate them even more than Artillery in World of Tanks.

trailer look amazing but the truth is the game's effect and the feel were far different in actual footage game and very disappointed. If game's effect exactly same with trailer , everyone will excited, that's the feel we need.

so far when it comes to planes and tanks War thunder has beaten the WG
Planes and tanks well tanks I like WGs more but airplanes YUP. Let see how this unfolds I think it's more about preference.
it also depens on the engine,
I can run WoT on maximum setting and get around 50ish fps, While I can run WT on the maximum ultra + extra setting in nvidia and get around 170ish or 250+ if I run it without the nvidia´s extra setting.
***** Im sure that unless WoWarships introduces some kind of damage level to different parts of the ships (engine, magazine, fuel tanks, cannons, torpedo tubes) and do some kind of "poison-like" damage to HP implying the ship is sinking, WT Naval forces will be vastly superior (since Im sure they will actually implement said things, looking at planes and tanks)Still, Naval forces wont be released anytime soon, so WoWarships will be more than enough to get my naval combat fix.I miss Battlestations...

Niall Horn Yes of course, I'm just saying that cinematic trailers are useless. It doesn't tell you anything interesting about the game and pushing them out over and over again does nothing. Once is OK I guess to raise awareness of the game but it's a bit late for that now since the game has been in the making and known for years. It's time to deliver the goods now, not more useless junk.
