    so, you wired it directly from your battery, is there a fuse between battery and switch, I ask because I don't know. By chance would you know how many amps that would pull if you had all plugs in in use? I ask because I installed an 8-gang switch on my gladiator and am wondering if I could wire it in to that. Thanks for the informative video!

    • @ExfilOffRoad
      @ExfilOffRoad  Год назад

      Yes there is a fuse, the wiring harness used in the arb wiring kit contains everything you need for wiring. If i remember correctly its a 15 or 20 amp fuse.

    Great video just was wondering how long is the wire loom from ARB. There’s plenty there to go from the battery all the way back I assume. Thanks for your service again great video

      Yes plenty of wire to go from front to back. With extra leftover over. I’d say it’s probably 15 feet or so

    I appreciate your work, but I am slightly disappointed. The best way I can explain this video is an unboxing video. I feel you skipped the important shots of why one would watch this video (like myself). I would have been nice to actually see how it was routed and tips to overcome obstacles while doing it. I mean I know I can figure out as I go, but it would have been still nice to get a preview of the work being done prior to doing it myself. If the video didn't exist I would be ok, but at the beginning it lead me to believe I was going to see the content I need. take this comment for what you want.

      First complaint I’ve had. Hope you find a video that suits you. Remember most of us aren’t paid, we do this to help the community. I would suggest you make your own video if you think something’s lacking that you can’t find, help others.

      @@ExfilOffRoad It was more of a minor constructive critique. thought you might at least take it into consideration for future videos, since you are taking your time making content and I assume you are building a "fan base". I do ( use to at least) make RUclips content on subject matters that I know, on another account. This is my viewer account. Rather than just thanking me for watching, suggesting that I make a video based off of what a video I watched is lacking is quite odd?? When I look for a video, its on something I need to know. Using this topic, I don't want to share a video of me stumbling along and messing up, on a thing I am only doing once. It would not only be a waste of time, but of no use for the people watching. Again, the video was good and appreciated but with a description "A simple install to add power to the bed of your Jeep Gladiator." it was lacking on the install portion. Maybe prepare yourself on handling future "complaints" when you break triple digits on your subscribers and views

      Again, first complaint I’ve had. Your taking this wrong. My suggestion was based on the assumption you found no other context pertaining to it so, if you feel that this specific context was not done well, no worries, I never said I wouldn’t take the criticism, maybe see some of my other videos instead of saying I don’t do something. I do repeat maybe you can do a video that shows what you think mine should.

    I know you assume the wiring is a no-brainer. But for those of us without a brain, a minute or two of showing what was involved, even quickly, would have helped. Thanks for the video.

      Thanks for the comment. I agree with you, and I also believe the instructions for wiring in the outlet package show exactly what to do. This was not a video on the basics of how to wire electronics, and I may do one of those now that you bring this up. Usually people do not attempt to do their own wiring without any previous experience, it is something I did not consider when making this video.

    • @ExfilOffRoad

      Yea pretty much 😂 sorry to disappoint. The directions break down the wiring and the point was to show you can wire a outlet to the bed if you did not get the factory option.

      Make sure you use thicker wire and I’d probably incorporate a power inverter. To keep anything from causing a fire.
