@@PoseidonsPets Billyboi I thought they were gonna be home bred but they are imports. They are listed as orange eye red king kong but as saw from pic there definitely some red tiger in there. (some look more king kong some look more tiger) I still like them and both are rare. So anyhow Im hoping I can get 2 lines from them. A red king kong line and a red tiger line. It will take some work but Im ok with that. Making the line myself is also a lot cheaper. Im guessing these are someones culls.
@@ljsshrimp oh no! That’s a bummer. People need to be more transparent on whether they are flipping shrimp or breeding them from home. Too many people will import and charge homebred pricing which isn’t cool. Two for the price of one! I’ve gotten a few cool patterns off of one colony. You can always separate them out and work on the patterns you like but if they are Taiwan bees crossed with caridina mariae they’ll never revert back to pure King Kong because of the tiger genes. Down side to crossbreeding, I’ve got too many of my lines tainted this way because of my crossbreeding infatuations.
Dragon bloods have king Kong genes in them. I crossed my dragon bloods with blue steel and crazy blues and I get a lot of King Kong with blue shadow. Pretty neat
1:45 OMG i will take a totally wrong guess at it! black king kong golden eyes!!! uhhhh those worms? i have heard about them, strange to see as i have fish that wouldnt allow that lol
Good guess! Most likely some King Kong genetics in there for sure! The worms are nothing to worry about, you find them in over fed tanks. This is a new tank so it is nutrient rich and will balance out after a few weeks. The worms have all died out since this video

@@PoseidonsPets neocaridina's, all are sold out. do you know of a breeding chart for caridina's? something of what it takes to make certain ones. i have found a chart it says rah-bop at the top of it and shows all the caridina's that are common.... i have a feeling these things are guarded secrets, but there has to be some basic understanding to get me on my way. i have spent a month learning how to take care of water parameters in an empty tank lol really it was my first goal in dealing with the "next level". years ago i kept them (caridina's)... for a week. tap water aquarium lol. i sure want to breed them, guppies only provide some level of fun, but shrimp are where its at for me with breeding, i mean who has heard of gold eyed tiger shrimp? well, not this newb
@@AmishHitman73.Archive Black Friday just happened so a lot of breeders may be low in stock right now. I can recommend a few for neos. Are you in the states? Nice shrimp. We love you Kyle. ❤️

Was just me but I think I saw a white wiggle worm go by behind the shrimp at 4:39 might want to check it out?
It’s a new tank so there’s alot of detritus worms floating around, they’re harmless
