My uncle used to do this and made $100 a month. And we live in a small town! I definitely recommend this business!
The video was also very informative! I made the mistake of using liquid fertilizer and it grew a ton of algae.

Very good and informative video. It is great that you took the time and had the patience to show your process over time. Your precise demo of the process to propagate in the trays and the success you had definitely provides us with a strong starting point to successfully growing the size of your farm. I'm just a beginner but you have given me clear information on how to start. Thanks!

I was always wanted to try this method since I saw it on the Aquarium plant lab channel but I never got my hands on that propagator with the plastic dome. Good to see it worked for you, maybe I'll try it too one day

It’s been a good little setup! I wanted to experiment with growing moss terrestrial, buddy of mine showed me how he used these domes and figured I’d give it a shot. Shortly after I got the dome setup I found aquarium plant labs channel.
He’s got some cool setups. I want to try a few of them out and see how they do!

It looked a bit wet, I saw someone else do a grow and it got way better results with i think just one spray in one month, the spill off and the dome provides the rest of the moisture. It was said that light and standing water would create algea and slow down grow.

I just use a small plastic tub with lid, I spray it whenever I remember that I am growing moss and it seems to be doing well. My start amount was kind of small so if this grows out a little I clump it up again and cut it to restart with a denser coverage

Because I see that your main income out of all these is the shrimp.

Setups can be made with minimal cost, most led lights cost next to nothing to run.
Main thing is if you have the market to sell the end product. You can be sitting on a mound of moss but no one to sell it to and it won’t do you any good

    • @PoseidonsPets

    • @PoseidonsPets

Depends on the type of moss, some moss may be more adaptable to terrestrial life so they would require more CO2 than aquatic varieties. If you were running co2 injection I’m sure you could grow more varieties of moss
