I saw them on minneapolis, i even met them the night before their show. They offered to buy me a beer. Genuine people and still remains my favorite band of all time.
That’s amazing! I would have been like “um I’ll buy you guys a beer!” 😂
Where in Mpls?
@@sadiegirl3011 this was at the xcel energy center
Love that this band is still going strong! I saw them in 2013 at Coachella and they exuded such great energy, it was a simple and straightforward set (no lights or pyrotechnics or anything fancy) but their music struck such a wonderful and harmonious chord. One of the best concerts I've been to, hands down, the vibe was great. Plus Nanna was so sweet and thanked the crowd after every song, it was very endearing.
Thank you to the producers of this piece for putting together wonderful memories of this great band. The new pieces played on the CBS show this morning are just beautiful! Definitely a download gift suggestion for the holiday season!
Thank you for taking time to cover their story ❤️ I wish nothing but the absolute best for this band.
Really nice! I wish it was longer though. It was good to see Nanna opening up a litte bit at 3:40 :)
Love them so much. So happy and so proud for them at how far they've come.
Nanna sing so beautiful. amazing band amazing musicians beautiful music I LOVE OMAM
2011-2012 what a time to be alive🥲
Sad songs are poetic and can be primal for me. Its a part of life and i grasp my sadness and happiness too. Their music is very moving in many ways. Its healthy to feel pain as well as love, all emotions have their time.
I first heard their music in a local bar. First it was Little Talks. Then it was Mountain Sound and then I was hooked. Then I discovered Slow and Steady and I’ve now listened to that song a thousand times if not more. I’m thankful that Beneath the Skin came out because Black Water is my current favorite song of theirs. The music videos for several songs off that album were beautiful and inspirational to say the least.
Now lately I’ve been enjoying listening to Visitor. I’m very excited to hear whatever they have for the future.
When I heard Alligator It proved to me and the World that Of Monsters and Men are the REAL DEAL. It's such an amazing, well written song. As a musician I am impressed. I love all of their break through songs. But Alligator. WOW!!!
Nanna 💙
The first time I heard them was the ELLEN SHOW. Loved their song Empire, can't get enough of that song. The video was EXCELLENT for that song.
I am glad I found them years ago. Among my favorite bands.
The Story of Fire Saga inspired me to visit Iceland so I spent this summer over there.
Icelanders are about the most optimistic people I have ever met in my life.. And my gawd the woman are beautiful!
Of monsters and men used to be my lullaby music while on road trips when I was little. I remember sleeping in the way back of my mom's minivan and the speaker was right next to me. And little talks and Dirty paws would help me sleep
I wish they would tour again!!
Love them. The Festival in Austin was epic. Thank you OMAM and thank you CBS! Greetings from Braunschweig, Germany!
What an amazing and beautiful band 💙
I remember when I heard their sing Crystals on fifa 16. My goodness I'm grateful I found them
I watched them years ago and I must say they were the best band I’ve ever seen, next to Snoop Dogg. It was magical and so energetic! I would love to see them again!
They deserve all of it! An amazing band
Whole album is fantastic!

Does anyone know what happened to the girl who played the trumpet? I thought she was great.
Love ❤️
best band ever
I'd like to find, short of traveling to Iceland, the Icelandic version of "Little Talks" and "Mountain Sound".
Adorooooo💖💖💖
My favorite band ❤ love from israel
Nana and Ragnar are true Nordic song writers.
Nanna Hilmer's daughter? I tried to get a little of information about it, someone knows about it? Who was she?
It's just her last name, Hilmarsdottir, meaning Hilmar's daughter. That's a common way in Iceland to form a last name. So Hilmar must be her father. Same thing for men would be Hilmarsson, Hilmar's son.
evolotion is future
Amazing
Not the same with out the Trumpet girl.
yeah she was great
These vikings... they're pretty good.
😎👍🏻
can we go back to 2012 pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee???
❤
I didn't know Sam Tarly was a musician 😅
ég elska að íslenskar hljómsveitir fá meiri frægð þar sem á Íslandi eru svo fáir að það er auðvelt að verða fræg, en ekki svona mikið!
В Україні їх теж слухають та люблять
Wait, the art museum was a prison? 🤔
