    The power of acetylene is really big.
    If it is placed inside the steel pipe, it is really a powerful bomb.

    • @Linus-nq2op
      @Linus-nq2op 3 года назад

      Hmm you'd need to eather pressurize it or add an oxidizer to it to become a bomb though
      (or both)

    using a oxy acetyline torch. It is said not to exceed 15 psi. it can self ignite, blowing apart the torch and remove your hand. thats why the gage for the acetyline only goes up to 15 psi. The tank has acetone init to stabilise the stuff.

      I get carbide from a local boat workshop. There it is used for wealding. There is a whole chain of this stuff getting through whole Croatia. I never seen Garbura in small pebbles. We get them in rocks about the size of tennis balls. It is popular as a firecracker for new years here.

    I get this video is really old but if your passing through and you can tell me then it would be appreciated: how can you find the rock form of calcium carbide/ carbonate and is powder carbonate just as good if not better

    • @Rose-ec6he
      @Rose-ec6he 4 года назад +2

      I don't have any advice on where to buy it but I can safely say that the powdered form would react much faster - probably dangerously fast. I don't recommend attempting what this guy does in the video but if you do, do it on a very small scale and do all the safety stuff and follow instructions carefuly because acetylene (the gas it makes) can be explosive.

    How much water will be added in 100g calcium carbide, and how much amount of gas released from 100g of calcium carbide.
    Please reply

    • @popamanraeva8733
      @popamanraeva8733 3 года назад

      Abhishek Yadav you can add any amount of water to calcium carbide and the gas, I don’t know but I don’t want to because it’s toxic so always do it outside!

    • @Linus-nq2op
      @Linus-nq2op 3 года назад +1

      for 100g CaC2 60ml of water should be enough, the amount of gas is hard to tell because the commercially availiable CaC2 rocks (for welding) are very impure, but a rough estimate would be 30 liters, if you need the exact number you need to measure it for only a few grams of it and then calculate the amount for 100g with that.

      Honestly, every step in the right direction counts, taking the bike instead of the car once, cooking one vegan instead of an omnivore meal and every idiot blasting up a field for YT counts as well. So don't tell me "there's worse", there has always been. But someone stabbing three people when there's people who stab four isn't a good guy as well.
