- We're back again in Breath of the Wild! This time doing a COMPLETE GUIDE to trial of the sword, but on master mode. That's right baby every single floor I've laid out and given you a fool proof strategy on how to beat it. Was this a terrible idea? YES! Was this the last of my terrible ideas? NO!!! This video was dope. I was looking for a guide for the master sword trials but this was funny enough that I actually managed to watch it all. Unlike ever other fucking piece of shit guide out there. Kudos

When picking this game up again I went through the pros and cons of whether or not to endulge a Master Mode playthough. Thing is some cons carry more weight then most. And by "some" I mean one. And by "one", I really mean "floor 10 of Trial of the Sword on Master Mode still haunts me to this very day."
I managed to luck my way through floor 10 accidentally and I was so happy. Now I can’t get passed the ice talos and I am this close to giving up.
I was able to stun lock both of them and by god was I pumped. Everything else has been pretty easy in comparison to floor 10

I’ve been stuck on floor 10 for a year now, dropped the game for like 5 months and for the past couple days I still cannot for the life of me beat it
I literally never cleared up the floor 10 and thanks to you and your stasis strategies I finally did it. That beginner trials floor may be arguably the hardest master mode challenge ever.

I can’t say enough how much I hate Trial of the Sword on Master Mode. I just can’t get past those damn 3 lizalfos even if my life depended on it. Damn you regeneration.

To sneakstrike chain or to perish. Also I realized if you fail sneakstrike chain on the the second one, you can run far away and it will reset.
I don’t think I would have completed the master mode sword trials without this guide. I learned so many combat skills thanks to you. I wasn’t sure I’d make it past level 10! Thanks for this fantastic (and very funny) guide man.

Wow. I finally beat it. I took a hiatus from this to play other games and figured it was a good time to revisit before Tears of the Kingdom. Thanks for this hilarious guide. I thought I’d never get through those F*cking lizalfos.
Great job man!!! Definitely the hardest thing in the game. I literally got all of the korok seeds twice on Normal and Master modes before even attempting the trials (at all)

This was the funniest yet also most comprehensive/helpful guide I’ve watched on RUclips. Sub from me. One extra thing I’d say about floor 10 is that if you end up knocking the last lizalfos into the water, let him come back up and stun lock him repeatedly with the lightning rod from the last room. Make sure that each time you go in to hit him after shocking him, MAKE SURE to hit him one less time than you usually would to ensure that he won’t be knocked right back into the water. Good luck!

Also there’s actually an easier way to do the last floor. You need the wand from floor 15.
On the last floor:
Run directly at enemies and immediately hit the lynel with the ancient arrow
Hold R with the ice wand and it will stun most of bokos
Kills the frozen ones
Then continue as normal

last time I tried the trial is now 3 years ago and I somehow managed to do the 10th stage (in master mode)but died in the last and never tried it again

A few things that helped me:
I always blew up every tree and cooked it even if I didn’t really need it just in case.
Make sure to get as many fairies as possible because they are very helpful
Don’t try to parry the guardians if you aren’t fully confident, especially in the final trials. You have so many OP weapons by that point so messing up parries is a huge waste of resources. Instead, for the giant room with all the decaying guardians do the same thing as drew where you wake one up and use it as a shield from the active one. When it starts targeting you just shoot it in the eye with a normal arrow and keep slapping it with your melee weapons and do this for every one, finishing off with the one that gets activated on its own.
And for the very last room of the final trials, it seemed a lot easier for me to just sprint toward the Lynel until I was close enough to shoot him with the ancient arrow, then you can run towards the guardian and the rest is easy.

For the talus, I recommend not using the sledgehammer until that point, since the sledgehammer does around 10x damage to taluses. Also bomb arrows do less damage when used in a multishot, so for the aoe, hit one with ice then stasis it then shoot a ton of shock arrows at it
Well I think this multiplier doesnt apply dor this fight because when I used my sledgehammer it did the same amount of damage as my rusty Broadswprd which was also 12 so I don't think it worls here

for the beginning trials floor 5, i just killed everything with bombs. It helps if you get a moblin close to a tree, climb into that tree and keep on throwing (not dropping) bombs at them.

Good video. The Talus is easier to beat than shown if you spin to win. btw - The fairy is mission critical in the "break room".

it means a lot that you'd say that you have no idea how many hours I spent just staring at a blank computer screen thinking about what song to use for the next floor lol
Something I realised he did in this video which helped was what he did as a joke at 9:23 where he ate the wood. I thought “Hey, maybe if I gathered enough wood from previous levels, I could get hearts!” and to my surprise it helped a fair bit when I was finding myself low on hearts. Sure it didn’t heal me to full but it did actually give me that edge to beat the trails. If u were to try this however, be careful as to not over fill ur inventory as u would have no space for other meals. Also another thing to mention cook one chunk of wood at a time as I found that cooking multiple chunks of wood at once wouldn’t make that much of a difference. Using bombs would be the most optimal method as well to gather all the resources. Also if you have read all of this, congratulations u have officially wasted all this time on learning something that might not even help u beating the trails. I followed ur guide and was FINALLY able to do it. The middle and final trials are so easy compared to the beginning trials, after getting past floor 10 I felt like I could do anything. Also, ur commentary is so funny such a good video!!
im failing in the middle trials :/ the room with the wizard and bokoblins (i think floor 7)
oof yea that one’s a tough room, I used his spear method where u stun lock them against the fire, u just have to make sure when u do that that ur not using ur critical hit when ur hitting them with the spear or else the boko will fly off and restore its health back
@@MrKrabs-gl6vb thanks! I tried again and just managed to complete the middle trial. not using the critical hit helped a lot, also I used the wizards weapon in between (dont know if that made any difference tbh, the bokos were on fire anyway lol)
this time I also cooked better food though, only had 10 minute attack buffs before, now 30 minutes.
@@leafgreen83 Yay!!! I’m so glad u were able to get thru the middle trials! Honestly I found the middle trials harder than the final trials bec I kept bombing myself in those wind rooms in the beginning. GL on the final trials make sure u cook heat resistant food when u get to the break room with the spicy peppers, also if u get to the final break room and see no fairies take all the fairies in ur inventory, hold them in ur hand and the fairies will magically spawn in the room. The game has some limitation on how many fairies can spawn based on how many are in ur inventory so if u hold them in ur hand ur able to trick the game!
@@leafgreen83 know this is a month old but they legit give you a bundle of ice arrows before you even hit that floor. Could've one shot the wizard took his stick and showed those bokos real justice.....the American way.

I first went to a no-hit run video recommended on reddit to beat the MM sword trials and i saw the first level on that video and IMMEDIATELY knew how deranged the rest of the level tutorials would be and was like "i... i cannot do that... Oh I so cannot do that" but when all hope was lost... DrowziDrewzi brought me a sane tutorial. My hero, bless
Bro you‘re so funny, this video was great for the trials. One little thing I noticed on final trials floor 13, is that there’s a small lil hill you can jump from on the right of the bokos, then go into bullet time and snipe the two black bokos. For me they were 3 hit with the steel lizal bow from the last moblin fire room. Hope that helps

Yo! Thanks to this playthtough I was able to succeed first try with a couple tweaks here and there.
What I learned from this video is...if you can get past the first trial, then it's easy peasy.

I did it. First try on the final trials I died on the last floor. All the horse dudes and the lynel rushed me. I tried to climb a tree and didn’t make it. Floor 19 killed me. Used all my fairies. In this guide it was like ok. Wake them up one at a time. I was like cool. They’re waking up one at a time. Lol. After you kill the 3 that are awake to begin with. All the other 3 wake up at the same time. So next time around I did it the right way. The second time I fought the lone lynel. Got his bow. Used one fairy. Definitely helped with shooting a bunch of bomb arrows on the final floor. That was rough. Did all 3 trials in one day. Took forever. This video helped a bunch.
Now the TRUE GAMER strat is searching up “how to shield clip out of the master sword trials”
Tip:Take the metal box that is in the water
In the beginning trials, and do some gentle love taps because If you do too hard taps the metal box will break.Hitting the Hinox with the metal box
will make the Hinox unable to move as long as you don't stop hitting that bitch.
I was absolutelly mudered on second to last floor in the begginer trials by being pushed into the water and then done for by the 3 of them watter spitting. My soul needed smb to curse those f*ckers. I was also doing so good till then. I had to rage quit the trial for a while.
I was trying to rush the maxed out Master Sword before doing any main quests and all this video tells me is that it was a stupid idea lol. Brb gonna go get my runes upgraded
Just did floor 10 for the first time, (also on master mode as well) was really anticipating some god awful frustration, but completely destroyed that level like nothing. Once you take out the blue one, you can always lose the 2 silver ones by running back to spawn, eventually they give up the chase, when they head back to their patrol location, do A horse whistle to get their attention, hide, then they go back to their prone positions after they fail to locate you. That’s when you go after one of them and just do sneak strike combos (helps to take A mighty buff first to kill them faster) and same for the other. I literally beat that level without taking damage. It was too ez.
Something that helped me was blowing up all the trees on each stage with bombs (to save on weapons) to get wood, then cooking all of them to get a ton of extra quarter heart refills.
