- This is one trade that I think is going to be great for the shop, and the personal collection! I traded ONE big boy book (Daredevil #1) and received 250 smaller DC silver age keys!

Your love for DC is really refreshing compared to all the other youtubers. Glad you are happy for the transaction.
Never would have traded a graded #1 Daredevil for a bunch of non key DC comics
Thanks to you and Jim, I am starting to recognize and appreciate DC books. Thank you!
You are brave man! I would have not traded a first appearance graded for raws.
Its kind of like trading ONE exhibit for a museum and given your affinity for DC Id say its a big score. Congrats.
I'm also a big DC guy, but one of my dream keys is Daredevil #1. I don't think I could ever trade that book even if it meant many DC keys in return. You sir, are a mad man! Happy you got stuff you are more excited about. Great video!
I know right
I really like these tally videos. Also I’m glad you’re happy with your trade!
Glad you like them! I know I do!
silver DC covers are so goofy I love it
Wowza! I suppose the goal is to sell these, so on that front if you can turn the DD1 into 20% more value (without throwing your back out selling all these in the process) than more power to you!Personally, I prefer a horse over many ponies but thats just because selling is such a chore for me. I’m sure you have WAY more selling resources and experience making the process easier. The important thing is that YOU are happy with the deal, regardless of what anyone else may think. I’m happy for you, my man 🤘🏻
you are insane, my friend. no way would i ever trade a major marvel key with potential for these mediocre books. good luck moving them.
Nice collection of DC's. I have many of these in my own collection of raw DC books which I purchased at the corner variety stores when I was a kid and at that time it was definitely not cool to collect comics. Mine are primarily from the years 1966-1971, 12 and 15 cents.
Man I feel like I’m watching Storage Wars watching to see the trade value vs the profit climb up
Hahahaha I’ve really started to enjoy keeping this tally going!
I was just watching your video of when you got that DD #1. I would never have thought you would've traded it but getting all those awesome silver books for 1 book. That's a nice trade.
The big head flash issue is one that I always see in high grade. Such beautiful coloring on the cover. I currently have two at the moment.
This way you don't have all your eggs in one basket. Great score. Thanks
If you are happy then that’s all that matters! However I have a feeling the trader was real savvy. He knew exactly what he traded value wise. Superman’s/Legion/Actions are hard sellers, even silvers. They just sit. Unloading piles of those taking up space for a huge grail ,and sought after one at that, is a no brainer for me.
I have a feeling he is planning on the future and just likes to have them in his PC but I have a strong feeling legion of superheroes will pop up in gunns DCU soo maybe he can unload them during the hype if it gets announced!!
Legion goodness...that's my wheelhouse!!! Love the 1st LSV app
Wow for a guy who lost his gig and had a house flood both within the last 12 months you sure don't miss a beat, love the resilience!
You HAVE to let the hobby fund itself. Even with small profits can be thrown into wise investments
@@MintHunterComics I hear that brother
*_Too bad there wasn't 2-4 books worth $2,000-$4,000 in the Long Box._*
*_Now you gotta sell 90% to break even._*
*_That's up to 250 packages and mails._*
Well done buddy, I am in the process of getting rid of all of my fluff books to acquire some big silverage keys also.
YOU HIT A HOME RUN WITH THE 80 AND 100 PAGE BOOKS HARD TO FIND IN THAT CONDITION. PLUS THE ADVENTURE BOOKS GREATLY UNDERRATED.
I think the trade was in your favor. I like the Silver Age DC comics. A great haul.
Man you got some great Superman books I'm jealous!
I am jealous of all the books you got from that book! I think you definitely came out on top from that trade!
Hard to make that trade, but I agree with you
I have a huge box of minor keys if you wanna trade
Dude, Id take that trade all day. Just the bulk of Silver DC keys.....over a Daredevil #1....dang as I'm writing this, that is tough, actually...lol. man, that is a lot of sweet history you got in your hands now!
As an investment I think DD 1 is the better deal. And selling 1 book instead of 150 in batches also saves time and money. I would have kept it for some years at least, as I expect it to rise, maybe even spectacular..
Not a big deal for him that's what he does anyway
Great video. Loved seeing all those SA DC’s. I bought a lot of those myself when I was a kid. If you have any other Marvel SA grails you want to part with, let me know. Trades are awesome.
Any trade for older DC is a home-run to me.
James- hope you can read all this too...amazing dc goodness
Rip daredevil #1 in the mint hunter collection it shall be missed but it was traded for the books I think mhc would prefer so fairs fair
I agree!
I’m a massive DC fan but I just can’t wrap my mind around this trade. The biggest first appearance in the whole box is…Bizarro? 😬 Collect what you love, I guess…?
🤩James, your killin me man! Gorgeous box of books!!!
The higher the risk, the higher the reward. I don't think I could trade away a DD1.
I think I made out okay!
Well brilliant trade 👏 love some of those issues that superboy 68 is so rare and I always glad I completed my flash collection still needing 105 and 106
Awesome Trade!!!
I love these kinds of trades. Someone gets the big key they want for their PC, the gets multiple great value books (usually more value). Hoping to package a few of my books together to get into a bigger DC key or even nab a GSX1
Superman 170 is a special tribute issue to JFK after his assassination. In the comic Superman meets Kennedy. I visited the Dallas museum and this comic was on display there.
Wow! What a pick up! Always love your content!
This was an incredible trade. A very nice variety of comic books. Enjoy them. Take care.
Silver Age overload, awesome!
You did real well I have I lot of those in my collection in G/D VG and I also had when I was growing up in the sixties GD to Vg
Nicely done James, a sensible and worthwhile swap considering that you're much more a DC guy and, as you say, selling a lot of cheaper comics is much easier than selling one very expensive key. Super-pets: I can cope with Krypto and Streaky but Beppo and Comet were a step too far. Still, I'll acknowledge that this was a whacky era within the Silver Age. Great gallery of covers - Nick Cardy and Neal Adams were certainly the go-to guys for covers for a period in the late Silver Age and early Bronze. Love seeing all those 10 cent books, a great video.
I was really hoping to see one of these at least: Adventure 247, Action 252 or 242... Oh well, as long as you're happy with the trade then it's cool.
The Flash 219's cool - it's got a Neal Adams Green Lantern/Green Arrow back-up story.
I think you messed up I would have kept DD#1 unless its a first app of a DC hero most of your books are fillers!(as long as you're happy I guess) If you ever get Hulk #1 I will trade you all my DC over 3000 books with first apps ....we can talk
AWESOME BOOKS!! Thank you for sharing.
World's Finest had some great covers. I would have made that trade in a heartbeat.
Great trade…that was one heck of a deal! Kudos!
You’re really in my wheelhouse here. In the past month, I’ve ordered a lot of Silver Age Superman, Action, Adventure and Superboy from Lone Star online and picked up several of the comics you showed off and a few months ago, did the same with The Flash. Still buy new stuff but I’ve really loved Silver Age DCs since being a kid in the 70s when you’d frequently find those books at flea markets and garage sales for next to nothing.
Great trade(I'm not the biggest fan of Daredevil)! Fun video to watch.
Dam that DC collection would smoke MOST Marvel collections!
probably my favorite video you've done since I subscribed recently
Worlds Finest and Brave and the Bold Silver Age comics are always great pickups; really are undervalued compared to a lot of popular marvel runs from the same time; just less keys in those runs but hard to find in the VF range like u got!
You got some good comics! But I would rather have Daredevil #1! But as long as you're happy!👍
i have quite a few of those but very envious of the majority you picked up - definitely a good trade
I have to admit I’ve got a real soft spot for the early yellow DAREDEVIL due to it being such a fleeting concept and especially fascinating to those of us kids in the late 60’s where it was just so…weird…to see. I remember a video you did about your Marvel Wall Of Fame with classic Silver issues hanging up. Did this copy of DD come off of that? I’m kind of mixed on this transaction, but without doubt those vintage DCs are ignited. I can’t honestly say I wouldn’t have made the same deal.
See, this is an example of getting more bang for your buck!
You’ve been on fire lately bro, keep up the good work! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Also you’re right, DD fans can’t afford his #1 sadly 😓😓
I love DC . Have a lot of what you traded for . Am in the uk
What I would give to have a Daredevil 1 3.5 cgc! A crying Aussie Dan … NB. Awesome trade as I know you 💙 DC comics
Nice video love your dedication man keep it up 👍👌
Nice lot of silver those 10 c comics can only go up in value great show
All in all, as far as re-selling goes, I think you'll have much better luck getting your money out of the books you traded for. Daredevil #1 is a heckuva book, but in it's condition, high grade collectors aren't going to be that interested, and it's kind of priced out of the range of the low grade ones. These books are pretty nice for the most part and DC sells better than a lot of RUclipsrs might think. You made a pretty solid deal, especially considering the DC movies plans for the next few years.
That Flash 152 is a minor key were Barry and Iris get engaged.
You might've low-balled yourself on that DC Comics Presents #1. $10 is usually what the VG-F go for. From the quick glimpse I got, your copy looked better than that.
Awesome trade, BTW!
It's smarter to low ball your estimates that way you won't be disappointed!
@@MintHunterComics True enough but if it's a VF, you're looking at $30-$35ish. Good luck.
Are you planning to sell all these books or keep? If selling, would love to see some updates. I, personally would have kept the single issue key instead of the bulk, but that’s what makes for both sides feeling good about the trade. Good luck and keep the content coming!
Those Justice League #66 that you have 2 of is a Neal Adams cover. I picked it up for super cheap because I liked the cover, then got home to discover the cover artist.
Making over $1000 bucks on a trade is some fine work.
well. um... "collect what you love" as they say.
Nice pick up. I have a bunch of silver DC, heavy on the batman and superman. Congratulations.
No DOUBT that you definitely got the "Volume" out of the trade but the "Value" is still in that epic "Daredevil 1" graded. Knowing how you operate, you'll probably get 20% of these newly acquired gems graded, triple the value and prove this theory to be wrong 🍻💰💰💰
You should do kind of a time lapse video of selecting a submission for CGC, prepping them, shipping then and following their journey to CGC and back to you.
Personally I wouldn't have done that but hey, you do you lol .... I just traded my Fantastic Four 48, Tomb of Dracula 10, Silver Surfer 4, ASM 6 and ASM 41 for two Daredevil 1s.
*_1h of blue light...maybe a few hours of blue light, and that would have been a White Pager._*
You're honestly right. I gotta invest in that...
@@MintHunterComics *_This guy has some videos on how he does it, it is quite easy:_*

“Mix-yes-TIP-lik” in early Golden Age, then “Mix-yes-spit-lik” shortly after…
“Mix-ill-plik” for Super Friends fans (you’re still wrong 😅), “Mix-yes-spittle-lik” for the anti-matter version, and “Kill-tip-zee-zim” if you want this conversation to end…
Nice job on the Mister Mxyzptlk pronunciation, James…even if it’s supposed to be unpronounceable.
Good trade
I think so too!
I bought my copy of Daredevil #1 back in the early 2000's for $100 in similar condition. I would never trade/sell it.
man not stoked on the deal
Definitely a step up from them moldy books 😂
I didn't realize until today that I need Super Boy 154.
This reminds me of when u traded away that ASM 9 7.5 - my jaw dropped - can’t believe you did it again.
Did you watch til the end?
As crazy as it sounds - I think the other guy still won. Yeah you have more value gained - but that's a LOT of man hours you'll have top put in to move all of that.
I may be tough to let go such a great book like DD #1 but in the end if you are good with it then all is good
A lot of good reading there if you have the time.
I got cracking on some of the Action Comics - stuff was just so much more fun (but also kinda stupid) back then lol
I wouldn’t have made that trade but as long as your happy it’s that matters
Awesome trade man
I think so too!
Awesome trade times 2!
so you traded a daredevil 1 for a box of filler essentially absolutely no way id make this deal. you couldn't pay me too.
…you didn’t watch til the end of the video did you
if for a pc, maybe? otherwise-dont understand. 1000x less liquid, gotta pay to grade the few worth doing that to... uncertain conditions of raw (clipped coupons, tape, etc)...and traded for a universally known and always in demand key, with projects already slated? end of the day I dont need to get it of course-sounds like you're stoked, so, rock on.
Dude you have the first appearance of Bizarro. Way cooler than DD! Also DC was knocking them covers out the park in late SA early bronze era. Nice trading.
I totally agree man!
Daredevil 1 is the only one I'm missing for the complete run.
What was with the "Wizard" logo in the bottom corner of the first Bizarro? Old re-used bag?
It’s just in an old Wizard bag
You keep saying 'made' but that only happens when you sell. I think you're going to sit on those books for a looooong time. Easier to flip a single book. Just my opinion.
Nice!
James, why did you trade Daredevil #1 cause it was your favorite book I thought? It will be hard to get another copy of it now.
Justice league #54 is 1st royal flush gang
As investment s go could be a good move.
That's what I'm thinking
Do you resell these books? If so, where can I go to make the purchases?
Silly question, will you be putting Action's #254 to #258 on any selling sites?
When you place the comics on the stand and it shows you with a giant hand it reminds of the joke: "Why doesn't 'Big-Dick-Creme' make your hands bigger?"
That was painful to watch as a daredevil fan. Are you looking for more trades like these ?
