Dungeons: you’re fine to do them, they have a story mode, which is more of a side story of the 5 characters in Destiny’s Edge (Logan, Eir, Rytlock, Caithe, Zojja), and then explorable mode, which you can do after story mode and is comprised of 3 individual wings. Each of the 4 paths is different in each dungeon. Unfortunately support for dungeons has long been abandoned so it’s mainly a do them once to see them and then never really go back unless you’re going after specific rewards (mainly cosmetics).
Fractals: sort of the dungeon replacement. Scales in level/difficulty from 1 to 100. Wouldn’t recommend getting into fractals until you have a proper full set of endgame exotics and sort out your build accordingly. Also fractals are the only game mode that soon requires ascended gear due to an additional damaging mechanic at somewhat higher tiers called agony, ascended gear can slot in agony resistance to counter it.
PvP: structured pvp is 5v5 conquest area control. Can be played at level 2 so you’re fine to try it literally whenever. PvP lobby will have vendors that “give” you your proper items that you’ll need, it’s not based on your current equipment so just make sure your build is sorted through your traits.
WvW: the large scale PvP. Takes place in 4 separate designated maps and pits 3 servers against each other. Unlike PvP this does in fact use your own gear so you should have all that sorted if you want to be effective. Primary objectives are stuff like capturing camps, sieging towers/keeps/castles, or just running with a zerg fighting other zergs.
The main thing you have to worry about with all the different endgame modes is that your build is extremely important, far more so than in story missions. Selecting the proper traits and having the proper gear with the proper stats elevates performance drastically. Sites like metabattle, snowcrows, or hardstuckgg can offer different build options that go into more detail and showcase what’s currently the meta, also what’s not quite the best but still potentially viable.

Just discovered your channel and I'm really liking your Guild Wars 2 stuff! You were correct that the instance was "a memory". The events in that part happened in the past in the game. They used to do what they called "Living World" where new events and parts of the story would unfold every so often in the early days of the game. Also, I think you'd enjoy World Vs. World if you like the idea of big groups fighting each other. WvW is a lot of fun. Best of luck to you!

Greetings, a few answers coming right up.
    - mounts and glider can be used in story instances after they chronologically get added, meaning glider from HoT and after wards and mounts from Pof and onwards
    - yep, warclaw is from World vs World. I recommand watching a guide video as it can be a little bit daunting for new players. The warclaw is the only useable mount in WvW, it has many abilities aswell. Altough it can be used in regular PvE content, it is slower than the Raptor and only has the basic engage skill
    - the story focuses on Zaithan because he is the most promenant threat the the moment
    - you should definetly try out dungeons: they add some lore to the main characters and also you can unlock weapon and armor skins with them. There is trader in Fort Mariner (where you started the video) you can check out all the skins with him
    - the benefit of the PvP lobby is that it puts you at max level and "unlocks" every skill and trait for you. In your case you could try out elite spec for both your warrior or for example your necromancer. Just finish the tutorial map and you could immediatly go to the pvp lobby and check things out. Speaking of necro, the Reaper is the one you want to check out, its kinda like the brawler version of necro. You will see why ;)

Dungeons story mode develops side by side the main story, focusing on the relationships of your companions, settlement of old grudges and exploring some lore, so you should do at least the story mode to understand more of how things are evolving around your character! (if you are into the story, that is)

If you want to turn off the sepia tone, turn off post-processing. On the bright side (heh) it makes some effects less blinding as well.

When you say "PvP" in GW2 people will assume you are referring to spvp (structured pvp) which is generally a 5v5 game mode with 3 point capture and hold objectives. WvW is where alliances of different servers are put against eachother 3 at a time (3 servers all fighting eachother). There are 4 massive wvw maps and as a rough estimate you can have maybe 80-100 people per server per map before you end up forming a queue to get in (nobody actually knows the player cap on a map). Additionally there are 4 tiers in NA and each week at wvw reset depending on war score for the week the servers move 1 up 1 down through the tiers.

Go do dungeons and fractals, you have nothing to lose, only to gain. They all have parts of the story in them but it's always something that's tweaked and changed so when you go and do the story parts, it'll feel familiar and different at the same time.
And do your dailies, they're easy 2 gold + exp + other rewards.
Also, with higher lvl fractals, I get 12-25 gold for 50 mins of play when doing the dailies and recommended ones. I can imagine on T1 you can get atleast 5 gold for 30-40 min. So do your daily fractals as well and you should be good on gold.
