      I don't eat much cooked food...I believe it kills all nutrients...but you won me over with your soups...winter is almost here on Vancouver Island...you are so awesome...I love, but love the time you take to show us.. so clear and precise, but slow and beautiful...a welcome opposite of TikTok ! 👍

      Not too unusual to use hot sauce on pizza, but that's one for me. I also like it in soups for that extra lil something.

    Compliments on this fantastic recipe!! I just made it tonight (with tons of substitutions because I didn’t have quite the same ingredients) and, despite the compromises, it still came out as possibly the most fantastic squash recipe I’ve ever tried. Love your channel!

      agreed! they are the best but they weren't tossed. just sat in my "ill get to you later" bowl. that bowl i used to collect things to make stock, compost, or reuse in some way.

    You may find a garlic rock useful. I do. Just a nice old flat sided river rock about 4x3 inches. A good looking one that looks good on the counter or cutting board. I like it because I think it fun to slam food with a rock.

    I’ve always made this type of recipe, NON VEGAN. I’ve also roasted spaghetti squash and used it for soup bowls. Before roasting, score inside and then roast. Then serve what ever soup, stew,lasagna, or pizza style you want. As you eat, you naturally want to keep going and without realizing… you’ve eaten most of the squash too! So yummy and delicious

      @@thenarddogcooks no disrespect, but I godda ask you this. Why do so many Brothers have these huge beards? It wasn’t like this in the 90’s or early 2000’s. I think it’s a trend, just like saggin pants, which y’all still doing. Am I wrong? I bet you didn’t have a beard in 2000-2005. Plze let me know. I think it’s too damn much honestly. Besides that u cook wonderfully 👌🏽

    Looks delish! My only tweak will be to use chopped soy curls instead of TVP, my processed soy of choice. I love the roasted garlic hack. I could make a meal of roasted garlic.

      that was my original plan! until i thought of TVP helping me take that step out. But soy curls would be a dream in here!

      @@thenarddogcooks I try to eat as cleanly as possible, while still eating some frozen & processed vegan foods. I just don't have the energy to cook every night. So I always try to use the cleanest ingredients. For that reason I prefer soy curls instead of TVP which is often processed with hexane or other icky things. I'm not sure if it would be better to crush up the dry curls before rehydrating or rehydrate first and then chop. Do you have experience either way? Thanks Andrew, I'm really enjoying your content and sense of humor.

    I made recipe 2 and can’t believe how good it is!.
    I will be following your recipe’s from now on, just made the transition from being a meat eater two years in march, up until 3 weeks ago I was a pescatarian.
    Brainwashed into believing we needed protein from animals.
    Eggs, cheese, milk and fish are now a thing of the past. Game changers on Netflix has put me on the right path and after finding your channel nothing is gonna stop me now.

    The last video of yours for today (finally up to date!) and I am so glad you finally got to work with a brand! It's all great when you make beautiful content for us, but I am glad I can see you actually getting paid for it haha :D
    Also, I remember being obsessed with spaghetti squash a few years back, but I hadn't bought one for a long time now. They neither are pasta, nor have that satisfying mouthfeel of a pumpkin/butternut squash. I'll give it a chance though, you've persuaded me. Especially with that roasted garlic!

    Nice video as always! do you think it will work with the muscat pumpkins? Have plenty of those around, but they are a bit on the sweet side, never cooked them with any kind of protein yet. Should be worth a try.

    Spaghetti squash is one of my most favorites. U don't need any oil to cook it. Oil adds a lot of empty calories and fat.
