Friend of mine has a cabriolet. 370 bhp lowered 19s bastuck exhaust cold air intake..beast! 260kph on the autobhan..1st time I've been in one...absolute madness. Loved it
It would be interesting to see how the Mk7/7.5 Golf GTI Performance Pack (with the factory diff) compares to this. Might not have to go so blisteringly fast to get any movement out the chassis
Hi mate, really enjoy your videos. Could you possibly try get a 128ti review in? Supposed to be insanely good on fuel for the performance (50+ mpg motorway) closer to 60mpg at 60mph.
I’m thinking of buying a Golf 7/7.5 with a 18k budget but I’m unsure on whether to go for a higher milage 7.5 around 70k or a 7 with around 50k with both basic ish specs what do you recommend? Are the extra updated features on the 7.5 worth it?
@@FragGile you can get a 19 plate (4 years newer) with half the mileage and some decent options for £23-24k. Not to mention a better standard spec too.
@@crichussey9167 Yeah exactly , the facelifted version with the digital dash and better gear box probably other bits like lights. I can appreciate its got a lot of options and unique but at the end of the day its a 9 year old golf i wouldn't even entertain that price with an S3 of that age

2016+ 7 with less miles. Buy a MIB2 8” screen and you’re golden
As long as you get a pan roof
Having owned both, 7.5 all day long. The LED headlights, improved taillights, digital dash
Basic spec and budget of 18 grand come on lad what planet r u looking on that’s too much for a basic spec especially for the 7
@Bahle_Gaji its like a grand you might as well just buy a mk7.5 in the first place
pleaseee get a polo gti plus on the channel!
And a fiesta st mk8
And a Hyundai i20N
Is this just a golf r no stage 1 or 2?
Does the pan roof make a difference to the overall weight?
yeah it does.
Hi buddy, how would you compare BMW’s 30i, 30d and 30e drivetrains?
If you buy a bmw try and go with one of the 6 cylinder engine options. Much better than the 4 cylinders. 330D is lovely 👌
No that power button being there is definately annoying that should stay where it is as you turn the knob around.
the panny is essential
£20k - seriously? 😧
It's the same with GTI's... Silly money

@@FragGileagreed with all - much better gearbox!
Over priced, indeed
7.5 > 7 > 7.5 with opf
I genuinely despise the wheels on these

20k for a 10 year old shagged out Golf R……..
Seems a bit soulless 😢
modding good way to ruin car resale value
